No you ranted about my assertion that it was not Obama's job and if you break the law then there is a process and it doesn't involve the president. The title didn't hurt my feelings... your baseless accusations and lacking of any sort of understanding needed to be corrected.

I just bet that if this had ANYTHING to do with a Republican, such strict constructionalism of titles would not matter one bit to the hardcore left here. There ARE a few on the left who still maintain both principles and respect for others personally here but precious few. In the end, Jon Hammar is free and I'm glad for him and his family, and those institutions like the Mexican courts that DID get him out after 4 months of dubious imprisonment in a nightmare jail that if Customs agents had given the proper advice, or had checked, would never have happened in the first place.

Actually I can see your point in the first part. However it is tiring to see every thread be a backwards attempt at blaiming Obama. Just like I was sick to death of the blaming Bush threads about four to six years ago... that two year period was just as bad... and I said as much during that time.
