    I beat Demon Souls, but I never played Dark Souls. Demon Souls was just too... stark for my taste. It always felt like the atmosphere was a bit lacking, especially the sound. It was always too quiet. I figure if I didn't particularly care for the first one, I wouldn't like the sequel either.

    Ugh, that gif is from the most dickish place in the game too.

    Also I never played Demon Souls but I thought the atmosphere in Dark Souls was really good. Love the level design in that game. It is done is a totally different way then Demon Souls.
