Gay Men Vs. Women:Whose most likely to date a Bisexual Man?

Hey guys I am new to this site,so please excuse me, if this question might be in the wrong section.

I would like to get everyone's opinions, or votes on which one will be more likely to date a bisexual man. This question has been heavy on my mind recently,btw.

To women, "bisexual" spells either "slut", or "closeted gay guy". Both negative.

To men, it spells either "closeted gay guy", or "kinda straight but still wants me". Although I find the latter unhealthy, it makes bi guys more attractive to gay guys.

LOL, kidding, but actually, it depends, if it was just for fooling around, I would say both would have no problem getting the bi guy, but for a serious commitment I don't know, I do know a lot of women that would never get into a relation with a bi guy because they would never stop wondering about if they would be enough for him... As for the men... It depends, most of the gay guys that I know wouldn't, since they think exactly what rolyo85 said above "closeted gay guy", and I serious doubt any of those guys would put the neck on the line because most of us already had the experiment where the guy in the end picked the girl, just like in the movies. I don't know if I would pick a bi guy, honestly, I guess I would always fear being left for the girl, but it always depend of the situation...

So, I would say women, because in the end I believe they are more brave (and sometimes insane) in love than men.

Personally a Kinsey 4/5, I say to me, the orientation of the guy doesn't matter. As long as he loves me, that is all that matters. However, I've thought about it and sometimes I think if he leaves me for a woman I would be devastated. Then again, it just means that he doesn't love me anymore. Yes, women are more afraid of bisexual men, I have a friend that once told me she would be devastated if her boyfriend left her for a man because she would assume that it would be because of her! She is incredibly feminine and beautiful so it really seems silly to listen someone saying that when she is such a perfect woman, but I made the question to other friends and they all thought the same. Even so, most women when love don't let go easily, at least that's the impression I have.

I don't remember calling it a relation, but it was really more than just sex, we where close friends, and getting closer physically made everything more profound, I thing we where trying to figure what was the meaning of all that, I could deal with it, he couldn't, that's life. In this situation I think it was never about stop loving, it was more about being splitted and not wanting to face the real world as a gay man, that's why I never had thought before about what umjreon88 said, if it is someone that knows himself well, maybe it doesn't matter at all, if he loves you, he will stay...

I think probably gay men because bisexuals make themselves available but as someone who has had bad experiences with them I wouldn't do it again.

They are fine with the sex but the commitment or being with a gay guy troubles them. They seem to have far more "guilt" and selfloathing then "out" gay men. When the going gets tough or you want to move the relationship on then they often shrivel back into the closet or take the easy option and get with a straight woman which society expects.

In this instance, you're right - women are more likely to seriously date a bi man. Judging by the responses, they're the only ones willing to give the person a shot, not just the sexual preference.

They go after straight men (well some of them) give the straight guy what he wants,try to convince the straight guy to be with him or change his sexual attraction to women,but then get pissed off when he doesn't.What type of sense does that make? Well yeah she is kinda desperate to a certain extent. Yeah I'd say her self confidence and esteem seems a bit low. You get the next part quite right. I don't think she's fat ( I have take pics with her in the show yourself thread you can look it up to see that) but she always complain to us that she's fat and not pretty. In fact i think she's one of the pretty girls in her class. It's also odd that she mention there are a few guys (str8) that are interested in her previously. Yet somehow she ended up with the guy that I used to had a fling with. Small world ain't it.

Yeah. Oddly enough most of my female friends had self love issues even though most of them are pretty. We Have already clarify the situation with her about it, she's ok with it now. Funny how the first time her bi bf mentioned me to her, he told her I was a freak and the one who initiated the whole "encounter" when in fact he was the one who started non stop groping me for a few weeks. Having experienced this first hand, I would say sexually, bisexual men would prefer a guy. In a relationship, I would say a woman. I say that on the basis that my first love was a bi guy who went off with a woman and married her and had kids. I dunno if he went back in the closet with his sexuality but it's sort of the reason why I have basically shunned bi men.

Each person is different so you have to take it on a case-by-case basis.

I'd date a bi guy if he were into me and I into him. I think men do have that tendency to date bi guys more. A lot of the women I know have a problem with bi guys whether they think it makes them less masculine or whatever. And plenty of women I know get jealous pretty easily. but I can only speak of the people I know.
