Because Sidious hasn't done enough to harm us (and Christianity all across the globe), he just effin BLESSED Uganda Parliament Speaker Rt.Hon. Rebecca Kadag, who last month promised to give Uganda the infamous Kill The Gays Bill as a "Christmas gift to Christians".

Since then the bill has supposedly been watered down to only "imprisonment for life", although details remain very murky to say the least. Which, of course, hasn't stopped hate groups from endorsing it, including one of its fathers, Scott Lively, who is currently being sued for crimes against humanity.

The Don't Kill The Gays But Imprison Them For Life And Possibly Still Kill Them Secretly Anyway bill is still pending...

This one gay board I was on had a bunch of Catholics who defended the Pope and everything he did. I have a bad taste in my mouth because I had some serious arguments and was a bit freaked out that a gay board would have so many people defending the actions of the Pope.

So I don't have to relive that just in case the same is true here...I haven't been here long enough to know if there is a band of Pope lovers...all I will say is that it does not surprise me at all. I think his Nazi youth had a huge effect on him. Actions such as this prove my point.

The problem is, the gesture IS MISTAKABLE. What evidence is there that the Pope had in mind the Act when he "blessed" her? Who says the blessing is intended as approval? It is foremost in your mind, but his? What did he say to her in private? The Pope is primarily concerned with holding it all together and converting more. Does anyone seriously think he believes Gays should be killed or imprisoned?

This bill has been a huge focus of the religious right for months now, and the game is coming to a head soon. The pope has been more and more vocal about his loathing of homosexuality. Yes, of course it is obvious to everyone that the blessing is exactly an endorsement and it is pure undiluted intellectual dishonesty to claim otherwise.

But I got an email this am about the bill. All the links I tried sent anyone that uses it to my information. I couldn't find a link about the email but here is the text.

Why? Because while God commanded Humans to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, He commanded all His creatures to flourish as well. From that we can derive when the command to "fill the earth" has been fulfilled: when mankind starts to risk the extinction of other of God's creatures, thereby depriving them of the opportunity to be fruitful and multiply themselves.

I figure the pope and the Roman church have been in rebellion against God on this since about 1965.
