I'm with benderboy on this one, I'm not saying ghosts aren't real, but I don't think this is.

I watched this video without watching, just listening to begin with because I kind of knew what a "Ghost box" was. I barely heard any of the words and phrases that you are told were said and the bits I did hear just sounded like words from the radio stations and other probable transmissions that were being picked up.

I think the guy just heard what he wanted to hear, and what he was expecting. He thought he heard his name once and then listened out for it and heard it more times. Then when he writes it on screen as/just before it happens you are inclined to hear it too, it's just how the brain works. I was told that the start of Without You by Mariah Carey sound likes "Oh I can't forget the semen On your face as you were leaving" and now I can't not hear that if I hear that song.

It all just seems like strangely interpreted syllables to me.

Oh, and the quote by Einstein at the start has nothing to do with ghosts, it's just physics and was probably put there to mislead.

^I don't feel comfortable with this kind of reasoning, because it presumes guilt on the part of the videographer. People have it in their minds that just because something can be faked, that that something isn't possible.

My own take on the matter is that the videographer hears what he wants to hear, in the same way that we see, in Rorschach tests, what we want to see in the inkblots.

I certainly can't reconcile myself with the idea that Satan is involved. I mention this because several of the Youtube comments brought it up.

I believe in ghosts, but I don't think the one in the video is real. Also, these noises can be easily generated; unless you have the thing and listen it yourself, don't buy crap like this. And it's not right to give out words for each audible noise - it's misleading the viewers, as most of the sounds are more like vague syllables and noise...



Just curious though; aren't these things just supposed to catch the presence of supernatural beings in forms of noise or increased statics?
