Worked my arse off, checking the kids for malaria and then implementing a new assay to determine how much of the new drug partitions into the plasma and how much is in the red cells. It fucked out and needs repeating tomorrow, so tomorrow will begin with me getting jabbed in order to get fresh blood for the work. Spent shedloads of time analysing data for the new series of potential new antimalarials, the bulk of which have been modified to high heaven and as such have lost their ability to kill the parasite. Happy days. Then wrote up 4 reports and sent the data off to the chemists who cook the drugs up for us.

Then went home, to gym, some shopping for our year-end function tonight, and back home to watch the football.

I had to do a malaria last night. Thankfully I dont deal with malaria as often as you do.....think I'd slit my wrist if I did.

I had a pretty fun day. Soaked in the hot tub, took a steam shower, gave myself a facial, went to a Christmas Party at a five star French restaurant. Very pleasant......
