I don't believe in banning anyone, IMO. What fractures me is that the purpose of forums is for the exchanges of thoughts and opinions as stated above. What is the purpose of posting if most members have you on ignore or just scroll by your post like I do? I can't comprehend the post and have given up trying. It makes no sense to me. Don't you want to be heard and your opinions understood?

Okay, well since he probably never will be banned, hopefully at some point you will successfully exchange a thought or idea with him. I've just added him to my ignore list. After all this time, too. He is the first person I have put on ignore and he will most likely be the only one. Honestly, he doesn't bother me but I used to tolerate him out of curiosity. I've finally decided that I simply don't want to spend any more time scrolling by his unintelligible posts.

I will give myself a break from it all. And he can continue to make a hobby of cluttering up JUB with his weird posts.

..and more than likely, yes, he is someone's alter account trying to troll the boards, and seems like he's succeeded. The mods don't give a shit. They're more worried about someone posting a pic or discussing a female wrestler in the "Hot Prowrestling Men" thread than someone who's been spamming the forums for over 3 years. Just put him on ignore.

I agree totally. The posts on this forum should be legible/readable. Sloppyseconds' posts are completely absurd, and therefore he should be banned or at least have his posting privileges suspended. I don't doubt that he's somebody's alter account, especially when you look at some of the posts in this thread from people defending him as if he contributes something of value to the forum.

Firstly, some people need to look up the definitions of troll and spam - neither of which SS can be classed as.
Secondly, as other have pointed out, he's not breached any rules in the CoC.
Thirdly, yes, I'm guilty of helping to keep the rest of the site legal and moderating the pursefights caused by members not knowing the difference between a male wrestler and a female.
Fourthly, for those people who don't want to, can't be arsed to, or are unable to decipher SS's posts, then yes, there's the ignore button.

I haven't got a clue what the issue is, and I'm not about to ask due to my seeing this kind of behaviour in a friend who had a stroke. Speech was perfectly okay - but the written word was really hard work, and very similar to SS. I don't know if that's what's happened or not, and it doesn't really matter, but he's certainly less time consuming and less problematic than many members here. At the end of the day, if I'm in the mood I may read them, other times I'll just think 'For fuck's sake I can't be arsed today'. Quite simple really.

And with that, like other similar threads that insult and harass a member (which IS a CoC breach, and a true example of a troll thread because it causes an emotive or offensive response), this thread is now closed.
