I admire people like Condoleezza Rice and Russel Crowe. Both came from disadvantaged backgrounds, but despite the many obstacles in their path to success, they triumphed over every one them.

Whom, Cotton. It's whom do you admire. Yes, I'm a stickler for proper grammar.
To your question, I tend to admire people who are secure and confident in themselves and their lives. No one particular individual stands out to me as an example.
there's a lot of people that i admire but to say all the names would be a huge waste of time so i won't do it. they know who they are though and if not, i would like to know that i admire them.![]()

Kylie Minogue.
Yeah, I know.

Stewie Griffin. From the wretched abyss of his mother's womb, he managed to wait 9 months for the struggle to be pulled out of the darkness and try to reign supreme over the world. I admire him for his courage and determination to work towards his goals!

Society is funny. They ask you to be yourself and yet they judge you.
Actually I admire Seth Macfarlane. He's a cartoonish that made his dream come true..when 2d animation is in dying age.
Isaac Asimov, he wrote popular science quite like no other.
The ones I admire are ordinary people who do extraordinary things.
Inspired - but too tired.
Above all others I admire a man named Randy Pausch, a professor from the Carnegie-Mellon University. After he found out he had Pancreatic Cancer (widely considered the most lethal form of cancer) he gave a speech and wrote a book about achieving your childhood dreams and about how to treat others in life. It was titled "The Last Lecture."
Pausch spent the finals months of his life with his family and fighting to get funding for research that could save others in the future who would be diagnosed with the same form of caner.
Randy Pausch died in the Summer of 2008, but his best selling book, The Last Lecture, remained on the New York Times Best Selling list for another three years. I encourage you to watch the above video and seek out his book. I watched it for the first time five years ago, and it still inspires me. He is the closest thing to a real life hero I've ever seen.

"Its better to burn out than fade away"
My buddy OZGUY!!!
There are a lot of people that I admire. I admire from celebs to some of my classmates or friends. But it kinda freaks me out that I am almost exactly turning into my senior video major friend who's always late for class and 'kinda' always get abandoned by classmates or teammates even though he delivers the goods. Except the rich part though. He's filthy rich.
Stephen Hawking for helping me to understand Einstein. . . finally.
