^ my family does that too we have a real one and fake one... the real one goes in the living room and holds are more elegant ornaments whereas the fake one is the kids tree and has all the stuff we made in school. that ones in the kitchen/ family room

I've got everything Stargate SG-1 including the original movie with Kurt Russell, but only portions of Farscape. To the right of Stargate is the original Star Wars trilogy, The Woman in Black, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Superman 1 & 2 with Christopher Reeve, the Lord of the Rings extended edition, and the Harry Potter series, all on Blu-Ray.

Isn't worth the time/work decorating unless its up by the 1st or 2nd weekend of Dec LOL
I start in late Nov .. but nothing is turned on til after thanksgiving (unless I'm actually working on it)

We usually have two trees as well but we only put up one of them this year.

One year my cat peed on the tree, so the next year we got a plastic one. Then he started eating it, so now we use this cheesy 12 inch tall electric one. Rather than stretch out the page with an oversized image, I'll just link to it instead.

I have a collection of the old 1950s aluminum trees and the old ornaments and stuff so I put up alot of trees

I put my tree up yesterday, but I'm having a hard time getting a decent pic on this phone. The tree is 9 ft., but it just looks puny here. There are a few close-ups that took.

Since I got some pic's here's a few of mine...
(note: sorry for the cheezy editing job LOL coulda done better had I wanted to spend the ton of time to go around them closely)
I basically did mono-color on my trees this time
Lights are all LED type since I like the colors, and they use almost nothing for power


Tree1: All red lights/garland/decorations (which don't
really show) tree itself is the standard green


Tree2: All green lights & garland (even though this
might look close to the 'red' one's size its a fair bit
smaller) again standard green tree.


Tree3: White tree with blue lights (its a much
deeper blue..camera won't pick up the color right).
Decorations are all blue as well.
