I didnt give this one I received it and it is very specific to an office or cubicle environment... however

I left in 2007 for a week long pre-Christmas trip and during the process of decorating the office everyone thought it would be funny to wrap up my desk and everything on it like a present... they even filled all of the overhead shelves and drawers with packing peanuts.... it was amusing. I mean everything was packed... individual pens and pencils.... the phone, the monitor... you name it.

When I was in the military we had a secret santa, I brought a toy called "ugly balls". It was a softball sized toy that had an ugly face on it. wouldn't you know, the base commander picked it. Everyone had a good laugh.

i took a REALLY big box and filled it with rocks, then gave it to my mom with her having the impression it was a big gift

inside was nothing but rocks :P

that's when i pulled out a 30 dollar giftcard to TJMaxx(if you dont know what this is, you're wasting your life) and gave it to her

Hmm, my aunt gave me a box stuffed full of condoms one year. I don't really remember how old I was at the time, maybe twelve, but it was a cute idea. Everyone got gag gifts from her that year but I can only remember my own and my uncle, who received leopard-print panties with lace frill.
