Regarding this and your previous topic on favorite albums, Billboard actually ends the year late November/early December so their "year end" charts run from December of one year to November of the next. And their list will be released soon!
Anyways,
My favorite songs of 2012 (not all of them were released in 2012, I just enjoyed these the most in 2012 if that counts)
#1 - Ellie Goulding - Lights
#2 - Kelly Clarkson - You Love Me
#3 - Adele - Set Fire To The Rain
#4 - Kelly Clarkson - Stronger
#5 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake
#6 - Rihanna - Hard
#7 - Leona Lewis - Take a Bow
#8 - Cheryl Cole - Yeah Yeah
#9 - The Wanted - Chasing the Sun & Glad You Came (like these 2 equally)
#10 - Girls Aloud - Something New

Honestly, most of those songs are shit and the reason why I rarely listen to the radio nowadays.
The only songs on that list I liked were
"Somebody That I Used to Know" by ?? and some chick who sounds like Katy Perry
"What Doesn't Kill you Makes You Stronger" by K Clarkston
"Beautiful" by One Direction
I like Adele, Maroon 5, Pink and a few of the other artists on there but not those songs in particular. The worst would probably be that "Call Me Maybe" bullshit and "Glad You Came" by that other boyband.
I don't have any order but some of my favorites that weren't on that video would be:
Eli Young Band - Even If It Breaks Your Heart
The Band Perry - Postcard From Paris
Jake Owen - One That Got Away
I don't even recognize half the crap that's on the charts these days. I kinda gave up on mainstream pop radio since 2010, and ever since Pandora or internet radio stations came around.
Top Pop Songs Of 2012 Mashup - DJ Drybones

I don’t have a top ten list of anything, but here are three vids of singles that I especially enjoyed this year…

Appalled at the ignorant (even lunatic extreme), but apparently official, right-wing slant of the forums
