Cops Boot Gift Leads More to Help The Homeless
not sure how many non NY-ers heard/read about this story - I read in - front cover of NY Post while I rode the train to work - made me well up
to summarize briefly - 25 year old NYC cop - lives at home with his parents on LI - encountered a homeless man in Times Square last week - the guy had no socks, no shoes - it's cold now in NYC
The cop - who likely makes very little - walked into the Skechers store nearby - and bought a pair of boots and some socks - Skechers (ironically one of my clients) gave him $100 boots for $50
The cop - is gold - was embarrassed by the attention - there's a youtube video that went viral as is the case with everything these days, his act of kindness was caught on video - in this case by some arizona tourists
well - it appears that his tremendous act of kindness has encouraged copy cats - a very good thing

That was a cool thingy I saw on facebook a few days back...
just think if every person in America did something for someone in a less successful situation than themselves.

It is everywhere in the news here as well.
Such a good boy.
His mom should be proud of the job she did.
