Guest on Fox News to Discuss Benghazi Attack Is Given a Quick Exit

Did anyone else catch this this week?

It takes some balls to criticize the network that has you on to give an opinion....but it sure was fun to see someone give it a try in making the point that FOX has been over-reporting and over-blowing Benghazi..

Thomas E. Ricks, the veteran defense reporter and author, said he expected his Monday morning appearance on Fox News to last about three minutes. It ended, in fact, after 90 seconds his last sentence was a description of the network as a wing of the Republican Party.

Here's the difference between MSNBC and fox. No one on MSNBC pretends to be anything but liberal/Democratic for the most part.(they do have some Republicians on there though.)
Fox News still pretends that they are fair and balanced. If they would just admit they are a Republician network that would at least ensure they don't look stupid every day the way they do now.

"thanks for coming" and giving us that 1 minute 24 seconds of wisdom

Ricks did not answer the question rather he posed a question which was really not relevant

The anchor was done at that point - you'd think they'd have a newsroom moment and someone would send him a good counter in his ear piece - like maybe "oh yeah "

as for ricks, he's no hero - he didn't address the issue save for his predetermined POV

as for fox vis a vis msnbc

msnbc doesn't have naysayers to interview - they just don't - so a big diff is the "guest list"

but fox should've been more prepared to have a substantive discussion on the matter - not sure who this host was but clearly he's not primetime

msnbc has steve schmidt as a regular contributor - he's good i like him

but he's the gentleman who picked and didn't vet sarah palin - is was HIS recommendation - how he gets away with sitting at an msnbc table w/o having to address such a pick - one that goes down in the annals as "worst ever" well ....

and michael steele doesn't count either as his POV is very muted - as he knows where his check is coming from

Rick did answer the question. Four dead Americans IS HYPE when you consider how many others have died in Republican regimes without a PEEP from the republican media center....

That is where you are off the rails when you talk about folks like Oreilly and fox news having a valid point.

Fox news tried it's damndest to make Benghazi the big Obama issue. They failed and they show faces of failure:

So tell me Chance, what non-partisan journalistic organization reacts like they just saw 9/11 when they see Obama was reelected?

The Republicians are over Susan Rice yet Condi Rice is given a free pass for passing along information that turned out to be wrong.

This statement by itself should have ended this whole "outrage" the moment it began.

It's a pretty sad statement when the CE&P Republicans can't even manage to be as reasonable as the actual offline GOP. That's a really, really low bar.

The whole Susan Rice thing is political, period. One of the people leading the charge against is Richard Grinell, who still supported Mitt Romney after Mitt fired him for being gay.
That says all you need to know about him.

So he didn't cooperate in whatever lie Fox wanted to pass off this time.

That whole network ought to just shut down and all of them go find honest jobs. No self-respecting journalist or support person to journalists would continue to work for an organization that went to court to uphold their "right to lie".

"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "
