Yeah...I have heard of that happening to people before, and honestly--I can't say that it's not the case with me.

I do use "visuals" so much that when I do try to use only my imagination/memories/etc. it can be a little harder to stay focused--if that makes sense. It's like it becomes tough for me to keep the mental image as vivid as I need it to be.

edit: I think part of the problem is that I want my mental images to be as clear as the videos and pics I look at...and that's not possible.
