BTW.
I am now waiting for FOX to start running pieces dealing with Obama as the Anti-Christ.
Day 1. FOX runs clips of Jamie FOXX (no relation) making some quip about Obama being the saviour.
Day 2. Fox and Fiends pose the question "What are the reasons why some people think that Obama is the new messiah?"
Day 3. All the stories that day talk about some person or group who say that there are people out there who not only do not believe that Obama is a saviour, they believe that Obama is actually the anti-Christ.
Day 3. All the news stories deal with how some people believe Obama is the enemy of Christian religion in the US.
Day 4. Some FOX talking head says that sources say that Obama is behaving more like the anti-Christ than a saviour.
Day 6. FOX reports that reliable media sources are saying that Obama is likely the anti-Christ.
Day 7 FOX reports that it alone is left to pursue this story because no other news organization is picking it up; there must be a conspiracy in the liberal media to allow the US to be ruled by the anti-Christ.
skip
Day 21 FOX has been thoroughly discredited as journalists and White House insiders prove that Obama is acutlayy Santa and not the anti-Christ.

Coincidence?
I do not think so.
It is proof.
http://www.afa.net/Blogs/BlogPost.aspx?id=2147485104By the way, this is what the artist had to say about his painting, which dates back to 2009:
The idea of the piece, or the reaction that I'd hoped for, was to highlight our nation's deep partisan divide and how our interpretation of the truth is really prejudiced by our political perspective and I think that to a large degree we are being manipulated by the media.
I miss the old day when we just have the facts. Now we have pundits and spin and strategists.
I just thought that through that painting people would see different things. The right and the left would have different interpretations of it based on their political lens. But I have to admit I was very surprised that instead of that I got thousands of emails complaining on the religious front.
And that was not my intent at all. I wanted to create a dialog politically but not religiously. I didn't mean to make fun of anybody's religion; maybe I did so naively but I didn't mean it that way. In the bible Jesus is The Truth and comparing Obama that way isn't something I meant to do at all.
...and as you'll see, the cite is from the douches over at the AFA.
As I suspected though, your shoutrage over this is being fired up by the douches over at FOX; Aren't they about 3 years late with this nonsense?

Now Jack…..I know you frequent many Republican sites but Please, please, please tell me that you know Jamie Fox is a Veteran Stand-up Comedian and Actor/Singer/Producer with an Awesome Bubble-Butt? You do realize he gets paid to stand in front of a crowd and deliver Jokes regardless of how Raunchy or Controversial they might be?
And I know you’re gonna say regardless of his status as a Comedian/Actor Jamie should NOT have joked about Obama being our Lord and Savior during his opening Monologue @ the Soul Train Awards, but I want you to think about something…When you watch Rated R movies and/or Porn and you constantly hear “God Damn this” & “Fucking Christ”, do you complain about it? Do you boycott the Studio, The Director, the Actors?
No you do not because you know it’s scripted and make-believe….Stand-up Comedians open for Award shows all the time and they write material that sometimes leans toward shock-value….
I’ll give the Republican media points for focusing on anyone and anything pertaining to the President...This story is picking up steam primarily in the Republican World...….Late last night I was listening to one of Republican radio’s favorite sons Rusty Humphries. Rusty was FURIOUS about Jamie’s joke and so was his guest Republican talking-head. They went on & on blaming Obama voters for believing Obama is the true Christ and blah, blah, blah. They told their listeners not to go to Jamie’s new Flick opening in December. Rusty said he didn’t care if Jamie was a stand-up-Comedian or not Obama should have had a Press Conference first thing Monday morning denouncing him….LOL…Talk about a couple of Drama Queens....
Jamie Foxx is no Chris Rock stand-up-wise but had Chris said the exact same thing Republicans probably would have said nothing because Chris Rock is a Cross-over Stand-Up Comedian that a majority of Whites know & love.
For those of you not familiar with Jamie’s Comedic Claim to Fame....He created this Hit Character on “In Living Color” back in the 90’s…”Wanda” and all her Beauty….
I wonder if Jack is aware of how much people on here are laughing at him right now...

The sad part, I bet you have some kind of image of Obama hanging prominently somewhere in your house.
Be honest ... do you?

Does it bother you when you see Reagan pics all over the office space or homes of Republicans? Because this personality-worship you ascribe to Obama has been around for decades for Reagan and I can't imagine you expressing much outrage over that. In fact, most of what you purport to be going on between progressives and Obama is much better applied to Republicans and Reagan. Does that bother you? Yes or no.
No republican images in my house.
I do fly a US Flag ... I know that makes some liberals uneasy.
"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country." John F. Kennedy's Inaugural Address, January 20, 1961
The flag would never make me uneasy, it would be the fact that so many people who go out of their way to show flags and lapel pins and uber patriotic stickers are like you. You scare me. Not the flag. It's the same thing with religion. I have no problem with Jesus or even the Christian teachings. I have a problem with almost the entire publicly vocal portion of its following, though, as they're nearly all judgmental social agenda crazies.
I realize it's more comfortable to just sit back and tell yourself that liberals hate Christ and hate America but if you want to know the real reason we get uncomfortable when flags and bibles appear you need to look in the mirror.
ATTACK OF THE LIBERAL ELITE

coincidence?

think
so.....
See, Jack? THIS is why people don't take you seriously. Let me describe to you the progression of this topic:
1. You post an outrageous claim about Something Evil Dems Do.
2. Somebody posts a clear and irrefutable example of Republicans Doing The Same.
3. You refuse to take the high road and say "Well gee, I guess I was wrong on that one, or at least I should criticize my own people too if it bothers me from you guys". Instead, you focus on an irrelevant detail (how YOU don't have pics of Raegan - wow, awesome for you; neither does anyone here have a pic of Obama!) and then put some off-topic idiotic statement that features an insult to liberals, so that we will ignore your glaring double standards and focus on the insult instead.
You are disingenuous and false, and your attitude in this topic is a prime example of that.

Rareboy beat me to the punch, but I suppose this means that I should unplug the "FORWARD" X-mas light sign in my front yard, stop using Obama pins as tree ornaments, and take down the navity scene complete with baby Barack?
I mean... you do realize Foxx is a comedian, right? I'm beginning to think that's your natural calling as well...
And, you don't find it a tad ironic that the guy who (falsely, for anyone who has ever read any of these threads) claims liberals are irrationally obsessed with Obama still uses an upside-down Obama flag as his avatar and an Obama quote as his signature?
ATTACK OF THE LIBERAL ELITE
Here's an example of a conservative that also subscribes to the ridiculous "Liberals think Obama is their Savior" stupidity:
Playing with urine, calling it "pee-pee", and scribbling batshit insane conspiracy theories on a chalkboard.
That picture, ladies and gents, symbolizes the GOP in a nutshell.
^^^
I think he's just mocking what liberals did with the Crucifix in a jar of urine.
I read about this earlier today -- the yellow stuff is Mountain Dew(r) -- not pee.
Remember the Crucifix in urine was acknowledged as high art. Sick.

It is one thing to satirise the enthusiasm that Democrats have for President Obama. And somewhat of a remarkable achievement given that studies show conservatives are less able to understand satire.
It is entirely another thing to actually believe Democrats feel the same way about Obama as theocratic Republican evangelicals feel about Jesus. But, sadly, more likely given that studies show conservatives are less able to understand satire.
Americans need to keep their guns so they can protect themselves from gun violence just like Nancy Lanza did. And like Chris Kyle did. And like Gabby Giffords did. And like Tom Clements did.
The whole point of "Piss Christ" was to symbolize how the Catholic Church was "pissing" on the teachings of Christ.
The whole point of Glenn Beck's stupidity was to try to piss off Liberals (and he failed, badly)
Even better, Glen tried to cash in and auction his "art" on Ebay for $25,000. Unfortunately for him, Ebay's rules state that you cannot put up body fluids for sale and took it down. This got his fans all riled up, and now you have a bunch of idiots getting butthurt because they can't spend $25,000 on a jar of piss.
All this because Jamie trolled the GOP hard and they took the bait like idiots. I must send him a bouquet and a bottle of champagne.
I'm begging you.
Please.
Find some historical perspective to put this in, share it, back it up with something that most Americans who were educated in "public schools" can relate too, and stop with the ad hominem when some one posts something that doesn't fit your narrative.

"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "![]()

Megyn Kelly had a moment of clarity...
Republicans and right wingers often do their own form of math to make themselves feel better... it's much like what some on here have done... they manipulate reality to suit their own wants and needs. Like spinning the massive loss they suffered on November 6th.
