Day 1. FOX runs clips of Jamie FOXX (no relation) making some quip about Obama being the saviour.

Day 2. Fox and Fiends pose the question "What are the reasons why some people think that Obama is the new messiah?"

Day 3. All the stories that day talk about some person or group who say that there are people out there who not only do not believe that Obama is a saviour, they believe that Obama is actually the anti-Christ.

Day 3. All the news stories deal with how some people believe Obama is the enemy of Christian religion in the US.

Day 4. Some FOX talking head says that sources say that Obama is behaving more like the anti-Christ than a saviour.

Day 6. FOX reports that reliable media sources are saying that Obama is likely the anti-Christ.

Day 7 FOX reports that it alone is left to pursue this story because no other news organization is picking it up; there must be a conspiracy in the liberal media to allow the US to be ruled by the anti-Christ.

I just thought that through that painting people would see different things. The right and the left would have different interpretations of it based on their political lens. But I have to admit I was very surprised that instead of that I got thousands of emails complaining on the religious front.

And that was not my intent at all. I wanted to create a dialog politically but not religiously. I didn't mean to make fun of anybody's religion; maybe I did so naively but I didn't mean it that way. In the bible Jesus is The Truth and comparing Obama that way isn't something I meant to do at all.

The flag would never make me uneasy, it would be the fact that so many people who go out of their way to show flags and lapel pins and uber patriotic stickers are like you. You scare me.
