A Balkan, eh? That explains a lot. Our 3 oldest children are balkans and having spent quite a bit of time in Romania, I know that Romanians tend to say what's on their minds without considering the consequences. I think it is an eastern european thing.

One of my best friend from Bulgaria said it's an eastern european thing, she was commenting about how people in Australia is too polite while back home, she can be rude because everyone is rude.
