Increase in bareback porn?

Is it just me or does there seem to be more bareback porn than usual these days? It kind of scares me, because it seems like it's a trend that's spreading. I don't see any good coming of it. What do you guys think?

No, it's not just you. It is quite obvious that during the last years many more studios are publishing bareback porn. Even many of them who always had a strict policy against it.
And who is to blame? Yep .. mainly us, those who actually watch it. And if you just have a look on xtube or other amateur and or hookup sites, you are right to be scared. People are becoming more and more stupid and reckless.

It's things like bareback porn and reality tv that prove to me that people will bitch at the fire but not the fuel that feeds it.

I watch both bareback porn and condom porn(and porn with no penetration at all) because I know what reality is. I don't watch (90% of) reality because sitcoms often have better writing. And then I go on in life.

I actually don't care at all whether it is with a condom or not. What I want to see is a good fucking. Sadly, that's quite rare in porn. Either the actors seem to be bored or even the top can't get it up properly .. or well, one is sticking his dick in some orifice and moving it, but it doesn't look like he knows what he's doing at all.

I've seen an increase over the last decade or so, but I can't say as it's gotten appreciably different over the last couple of years. People vote with their eyes and wallets, and they've said "we want bareback". And the porn companies shrug their shoulders and dole it out. I prefer condoms, myself, but I'm not a stranger in being in the minority on what I like.

I have to confess.

I find bareback porn more erotic. I know it is socially not acceptable over these past 30 years, but within the relationship with my partner of that same length of time....well...we've never used plastics.

So I identify more strongly with the images and the sensations implicit in bb pornos.

Please note that I don't ever extol the virtues of fucking without condoms though. Everyone outside of a trusting long term relationship should never, ever take chances.

It just is my dirty little secret.

I'm not sure though, that there is an increase in it; I think that there is just more of it feeding into the mainstream market.

I agree. And I honestly think condoms have never really been a big part of porn, gay or straight.

Chi-Chi La Rue, however, is one porn producer who is a major advocate on condom usage.



I prefer porn with condoms for various reasons. In addition, there have been several cases where porn stars have got infected.

And as far as porn from Los Angeles (city).. either they'll have to wear condoms or move production elsewhere. Don't know if that law will be enforced though... it may be headed to court.
