What I call early 80s Hip-Hop look, is now called "swag style"?

New Era caps, hi-top sneakers, fitted t-shirts, emo-pants, man purse, all colourful.

But I kinda like that style, tight jeans, nice sneakers. But the fact that Bieber (and people like him) wears swag makes me hate the style.

I won't crap all over someone else's taste, but I don't identify with it.

If they choose that image, that's fine. It's not for me, so I don't have anything to say for it.

As far as style goes, it looks confused aesthetically.

What I find off-putting about the 'street' look, is that it's mostly worn by middle-class suburban white wannabe 'wiggers', who are in fact about as 'street' as the Queen of England.....

I read somewhere that swag(not to be confused with swagger, which is another word entirely) stands for "secretly we are gay".

Sounds about right, giving the flamboyance of it all, and the affinity for showing their asses.
