Technical issues with this forum

For the past month or so every time I log in I'm able to surf the forum for a while but after a few minutes the page stops loading and it says it cannot load. I have to wait for a few hours to come back. Is this happening to somebody else? It only happens with this website.

It happens with me occasionally but just for a few minutes at a time.

I have not had that problem at all. Did you try a different browser and do other sites exhibit the same behaviour? Could be something as simple as clearing your browser cache/deleting cookies. Or it coulf have to do with your network connection. hard to tell since the pages load OK to start with. Also, what sort of error do you get? You could also try contacting support on this site and see what can be suggested.

It happens to me from time to time and lasts for several minutes. Very frustrating ! There was a Thread on this sometime ago and it seemed it did occur with some people around the sametime of day . The 'experts' did not have an answer but it looked as if it was something happening to the JUB Forum data at that time ! It happened to me the other day but no problems since and I tend to log in at the same time most days .

Yes I've tried Chrome and Firefox and it's the same thing.

Could be something as simple as clearing your browser cache/deleting cookies.

Well my Firefox in set up to erase everything after I close it so that can't be it.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. So there's no solution then...crap...

Are you allowing JUB to install cookies? IIRC you need to allow JUB's cookies to stay logged in - otherwise your session expires after so long.

I think so. The problem isn't the session expiring, it's that the website doesn't load after while.

I'm having a similar problem. Something called "small1.myjub.com" is giving my Firefox browser fits. Firefox stops loading a page while small1 takes over and small1 never completes whatever job it is trying to do.

This doesn't seem to happen with Chrome, but I don't like Chrome; and IE is too risky.
