it's like my experience went to high end japanese restaurant this weekend. It's the same as.. Would you spend $200 on a ghost costume? Designer sleepwear brand offers 600 thread-count sheet with eye-holes for Halloween

I dont understand why the chef earning so much praise for his mediocre / very expensive sushi which I can get double the size with same taste in other place? I regret ordered 2 slices nigiri for $5 if the experience was the same.
By the way, I'd like to do job as resto- tester, to judge food, it's as the same as when you reviewing brothel. Right? I dont have to explain
but when I almost left the place without credit, my main entree came..
it was a fine buttery smoked black cod, idk if that fish broiled/smoked but it was surely melt in my mouth and gave me nice warm sensation in my stomach..

    hmm..hmm and hmm..
so buttery and the skin was crispy. I ate the skin, I used to find fish skin/scalle is repulsive and stink but not on my dish that time.
Now I got it why the place is quite pretentious, that specialty menu was a knock out! Therefore that place (shiro sushi) got 3 stars from me .

and why homophobia is lame?- it was "on and off" through out history but one thing for sure, it's perfectly normal and a part from human-sexuality since ancient time

I actually learned about it a couple of months ago, and I don't want to sound disrespectful towards her or like that stupid Ricky Gervais or something, but now I know that what was featured in the credits of Moonlighting was the genuine AngelYne and not Bruce Willis in drag.

He looks like some kind of giant warrior model figurine action piece that you'd pick up in an erotic version of Dungeons & Dragons. His special weapon is ready to fire.

And even though tattoos/bears/hairy guys aren't usually my thing, I'd still go for it with him for the novelty and curiosity and turn-on value of the whole thing - definitely NOT penetratively though.

A frotting and 69 session where you end up getting half-smothered by it would be a hell of a lot of fun!

Re: What have you learnt today?

    Shock, horror..!
I was cleaning up some old Vivaldi archives that my brother had left as some sort additional backup in this crappy computer (the desktop one), and while making sure that nothing of interest was being disposed of, I was attracted by the tag TAFELMUSIK and found that I was enjoying the 3rd movement A LOT...

... however, as I am writing this while listening again that movement from YouTube (from 4:30 on, just in case you are interested or simply curious) I still find it "diphyne", but everything has come in place again

Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto ripieno in A major for strings and continuo, RV 158, counts among the 60 or so concertos considered concerti ripieni or concerti a quattro -- works written for performance by a small string ensemble without the featured player(s) of a solo concerto. The ripieno and concertino functions of the concerto grosso form, to the extent that they are employed, are thus articulated by a single group of players. Consequently, in these pieces, the clear-cut structural divisions of the ritornello form, with their repeated tutti/ripieno theme and intervening and contrasting solo/concertino sections, are sometimes subsumed by a more melodically or contrapuntally driven compositional scheme. In this regard, the Concerto ripieno (a term applied to such works generally as well as the RV 158 concerto specifically, suggesting its status as an exemplar of the sub-genre) exhibits elements of both the concerto principal and the operatic overture, which during this period enjoyed performances in concert settings as instrumental works extracted from stage settings.

The dialogue that provides the structure of the quick opening movement of this concerto draws little attention to itself for any particular melodic profundity, but depends for its charm on its variety of subtle figures and gestures, such as the exchanges of ascending scalar lines, coy neighbor-note agogic accents, and the sudden acceleration of the diving triplet figures just before the ending cadences. The middle movement of the RV 158 concerto is more substantial than those encountered in many other concertos of this type, functioning as it does as a separate musical entity rather than a short, pensive interlude between the active outer movements. Its minor mode and subdued character contrast the bright mood of the opening Allegro molto, and its melodies follow new expressive contours, but certain gestural details -- such as the short, quick flourishes of ascending grace notes -- audibly connect with similar surface features in the first movement. The final movement is the most lively, its rhythms infused with a sense of perpetual motion that is fostered by the inertia of the melody. Particularly memorable is the way in which the ascent of the main melody is heightened by a sudden, syncopated leap upward to the tonic on the back of the beat. Like the previous two movements, the third remains in the key of A, though its form unfolds through a contrasting minor-mode diversion before returning to the major for the piece's conclusion.

Psst psst The chef from Shiro sushi- I heard he's directly learnt from Jiro himself, he was one of Jiro apprentice's back in Japan, that's why his restaurant is quite famz.

"Asking for"? Indeed. A plain decent friend/boyfriend is not that much, it's the asking for it what is too much.
But you can't be blamed: we all did that at your itching-acking age.

I learnt that a towel rack can be incredibly hard to reattach to the wall especially when there are no more screw holes (only one end doesn't hold. Thinking of super glue duck tape would be tacky.

No annoying sticky neighbor/"friend" at hand who could finally prove being of any use to you?

You can attach some kind of strap across the non-fastenable end, and attach THAT to the wall via new screw holes, but that would look tacky also, haha.
BOSS: I'm sorry, but I'll have to lay you and Jack off.
SUE: Can you just jack off? I feel like shit today.

It is interesting that there are no fewer than 3 sets of screw holes from previous failed attempts from other tenants or maybe even the maintenance guy (he "repaired" my kitchen tap handle and the thing came off again days later then he said it was old which it isn't....but it's defective so why not replace the whole thing).
There is no strap possible. Super glue is the only solution and I'll pick up some tonight.

Life without a towel rack is bearable of course though annoying.

Re: What have you learnt today?

From Charles Darwin~ Descent of Man
A most important obstacle in civilised countries to an increase in
the number of men of a superior class has been strongly insisted on by
Mr. Greg and Mr. Galton,* namely, the fact that the very poor and
reckless, who are often degraded by vice, almost invariably marry
early, whilst the careful and frugal, who are generally otherwise
virtuous, marry late in life, so that they may be able to support
themselves and their children in comfort. Those who marry early
produce within a given period not only a greater number of
generations, but, as shewn by Dr. Duncan,*(2) they produce many more
children. The children, moreover, that are borne by mothers during the
prime of life are heavier and larger, and therefore probably more
vigorous, than those born at other periods. Thus the reckless,
degraded, and often vicious members of society, tend to increase at
a quicker rate than the provident and generally virtuous members. Or
as Mr. Greg puts the case: "The careless, squalid, unaspiring Irishman
    multiplies like rabbits:
    the frugal, foreseeing, self-respecting,
ambitious Scot, stern in his morality, spiritual in his faith,
sagacious and disciplined in his intelligence, passes his best years
in struggle and in celibacy, marries late, and leaves few behind
him. Given a land originally peopled by a thousand Saxons and a
thousand Celts- and in a dozen generations five-sixths of the
population would be Celts, but five-sixths of the property, of the
power, of the intellect, would belong to the one-sixth of Saxons
that remained. In the eternal 'struggle for existence,' it would be
the inferior and less favoured race that had prevailed- and
prevailed by virtue not of its good qualities but of its faults."
