You meant something like "synonym"? Rather an hypernonym for all the states from Lisboa to Moscow... and from the Appalachian to the Rocky.
^ No, I meant "anagram". There's a nice clip for you in the music thread.
I learned about "bingle" today. Canadians are weird...
I learnt that at the Italian beauty parlor at the crossing of Passeig de Gràcia with Diagonal you can get a "FACIAL" for €35, and a "BLOW dry" for €20. It was painted over the whole surface of the windows with big letters in white paint, or semen or milk or whatever that was.

I was reminded what I learnt long ago,
Don't ask no fucking question what you
either don't already know the answer to...
or you are prepared to deal with anything.
N'est Ce Pas
Today I had dinner with a friend who was in prison for awhile recently. And today, I learned that some guys in prison will take broken dominos, and shape them into hearts or letters of the alphabet. Then, they'll have them "surgically" placed into their cocks using a razor blade and a few guys to hold him steady and keep him from screaming. I however did not learn why. That's probably just as well.
Damn the "frathouse" group is hot!!
They break them themselves, no? I'm having all kinds of visions of Pokemon style duels where lethal pieces of black plastic fly all over the place.

It took me about a half an hour to learn how to play Johann Burgmuller's Arabesque on the piano. Feeling pretty accomplished.

There are 50 states in the United States, each with their own capital city. But only 4 of the 50 cities have the word "city" as part of the town name. Two are medium to major cities, one is a town named after a president, and the fourth is actually a suburb of a major city. Can you name all four?
Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City are the two major cities.
Jefferson City, MO is the one named after a president,
And Carson City, NV is a suburb of Reno.
Carson City (my home state of Nevada) and Jefferson City come to mind right away.
You'll have to let me think about the other two.
^Too much time has passed, JC. I knew them all by heart 40 years ago, but now,as I go across the States in my mind, I come up with blanks for several of the states. (Why would I remember Pierre, in SD, but not remember South Carolina's capitol? My, oh, My, our memories work in strange ways.)
By the time I remembered the other two, surely somebody else would have beaten me. (And I won't cheat, no matter what.)
i learnt that belamo is stuck in the middle ages.
just an observation
I learnt that people can give answers to their question using white letters on white background, thus requiring of you to highlight the text to see the letters and then the answers.
I noticed that, instead of a single green dot next to our names, it now reads "JohannBessler is online now".
Somehow, that seems like a change Corny would make. I have noticed that he likes to tinker with technology.
Suicide is the first cause of death among Catalans aged 30-44... but I don't think I would do it before 41 or 42.

My algebra professor put this at the end of his email, when he emailed us that last wk's test scores are posted...
Just one question - Who the hell is Albus Dumbledore??"It is our CHOICES that show what we truly are, far more than our ABILITIES."
