roku connection

My father just bought a roku 2xd and I can't get it to connect to my wifi can anyonegive me advice

I do own a Roku... did you put in the correct password? It could be a defective unit if you did put in the right password... but before we jump to that conclusion... try to reset the router.

This is why I opted for the Roku 2 XS with the ethernet connection.

I had problems with my roku connecting too, and had to dummy down my password/access to the router. It was set to only accept access from entered MAC Addresses. I didn't know how to allow that for the RoKu.
