The average height for men in the US is 5'9", yet for some reason people always think anything under six feet is short. I often wish I was shorter, as my height has always made me feel awkward; but then if I was shorter, I'd wish I was taller. Some people are never content.

I agree. However most people I knew rather be tall though. But then they are all rather short. I remembered my successful 5'3' CG team leader told me he always dreamt how life would be like for him had he being taller.
