As you know, if you've read my last thread, I've been fretting over my job for what I think are justified concerns. I've come to the decision, that despite my short time there, it's best for me to move on. (I'm saying this after waking up at 6:41am, on the verge of crying again and with a sour stomach).
I have to go back to the office at some point to finalize my time sheet, in order to get paid for the days I did out in, but also to hand in my set of office keys. As such, should I send this to my boss so that she is not completely blindsided, or should I wait until tomorrow to bring this all up anyways?
-Redacted-,
Effective immediately I will be resigning my post as administrative coordinator with -Redacted-. Over the past few days I have given it a lot of thought, and this is not a choice I make lightly, but I feel that I'm not the right fit for the position (or the position for me), and I don't wish to waste any of -Redacted- time by filling a position that is better suited to someone other than myself.
I want to thank you for taking a chance on me, and I apologize for not being able to fulfil the position asked of me. I will be in Tuesday morning to hand in my keys and finalize my time sheet.
Sincerely,
Scott -redacted-
