Let us pray. Another good thing that came out of this election. All the millionaires in the US are pissed off about what Rove has done with their money. What was it $390 million and nothing gained for it?

The Huffington Post reports that rich donors are none too pleased with Rove:

"The billionaire donors I hear are livid," one Republican operative told The Huffington Post. "There is some holy hell to pay. Karl Rove has a lot of explaining to do … I don't know how you tell your donors that we spent $390 million and got nothing."

"Congrats to @KarlRove on blowing $400 million this cycle. Every race @CrossroadsGPS ran ads in, the Republicans lost. What a waste of money," Trump tweeted, inaccurately.

One of the biggest losers in Tuesday's election was Karl Rove, the Fox News commentator and Republican strategist, and the man that Democrats love to hate. His repeated predictions of victory for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney were wrong, and he was off base again in his snarky election-night assessment on Fox that Romney would win Ohio (President Obama did). Today, amid a public spanking by some conservatives, Rove's luster has faded, and he is trying to recover his reputation as the premier Republican strategist in the country.

Yea I've seen that Huffington Post article... his career is over and the Crossroads SuperPAC is kaput. He really misinterpreted everything. Rove is nothing more than a political dinosaur... he had his time in 2004... but he failed in 2008 and failed completely in 2012. I'm sure those billionaires are very pissed off and asking where there money went. The money was spent on stupid political ads that convinced no one.

Rove and Romney were so convinced their internal polling was right they neglected the reality. They were so convinced the evil liberal media polls were all wrong... some on here even repeated what Rove has said in the weeks before the election. Now, Rove is coming up with all sorts of excuses why the republican party was destroyed in the election...

I don't think it's all Karl Rove's fault. All of these rich guys think they can just throw money at anything they want and get it. Then if they don't get it, they throw a tantrum. They all sound like spoiled-rotten brats to me.

Is it ok to call him tush face? Seriously, after his ant-gay campaign aided W's election and re-election I'm heartened that his brand is now tarnished. I'm also surprised that he wasn't able to keep up with a changing electorate, for example, 50,000 Latinos in the US turn 18 every month and 4 states refused to codify gay discrimination. 2012 obviously isn't 2000, thank god.

Let us be clear here. This man has no redeeming values and up until this final crash and burn was one of the top ten greatest threats to American democracy and healthy political opposition.

Seeing Karl Rove refusing to accept that Ohio went to Obama was hilarious... he was talking about all these lightly populated republican counties lol... and forgetting about Cuyahoga county and other urban counties weren't even half way counted at the time. He was hilarious... I love seeing a meltdown on TV.

Karl Rove's problem was that since he got all the anti-gay legislations passed in Bush's reelection in 04,there wasn't really an issue to bring many of the Religious Reich voters out this time.
That and while those numbers are dying out,the younger generation who isn't as bigoted are growing in number.

Sadly...I think sociopaths are the norm now instead of the exception in the Republican Party...many increasingly don't even try to pretend they aren't lying anymore because so many of their followers simply accept it.

Not to worry, the queue of Rove wannabe's is long enough to entirely fill Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor (capacity 109,901) and still have a few miles of people left standing in the rain.

Rove's personal history gives a pretty good insight as to why he pushed the policies he did, and used the methods he did. I for one had no idea that his father left his family because he was gay and that his mother committed suicide. That will screw anyone up, and it clearly left a mark on him.

What I'm interested to know is if Republicans (and democrats too, since they seem to have adopted some of Rove's tactics) will swear off his strategies since they've been proven to not work any longer. In every area his strategies were tried, they failed. In 2008, in every area they were tried, they failed. Hopefully 2016 will be devoid of any Rovian lunacy.
