It's Election Day and STILL no CowboyBob? What gives?

He's been M.I.A a whole Month...I sent the Old Boy a message a while back and never heard from him. Anyone know what's going on?

You can't have Election day in CE&P without CBB....

I hope he is well. He usually leaves a message saying he is going on holiday, if that's the case.

Did anyone look at his home page?

I noticed chance was online last forty five minutes ago. Look at his personal profile. He logged in at 230 on Nov 6th or something close to it.

Cowboy has not logged on since October 6th.

I hope if he was kidnapped by aliens and probed he got cute ones.

And it's good to see my tireless campaign work helped re-elect Barack Obama and also a new Democratic State Senator.

You can thank me for helping save the country from the horrors of a Romney / Ryan disaster.

President Obama has done such a terrific job in his first term, he deserves a second and possibly a third term too.

Did you see his Press conference today?....He tried to explain away his cabinet picks...."My First term had a lot of women & minorites, my second term might not.."

That's not good when they BEAT Romney into the ground about the very same problem....

  16. #16

Re: It's Election Day and STILL no CowboyBob? What gives?

Didn't see the press conference unfortunately. But no matter who he chooses it will be a heck of a lot better than who Romney and Lyin' Ryan would have picked.

Yeah, like Rick Santorum (or, nearly as likely, Ralph Reed...or Don Wildmon??) as the next Supreme Court nominee? That's a theory I have about him - because he knows that choosing somebody that extreme would get EVERY Republican vote in the Senate, and votes as well from a few DINO's in there, even though Ben Nelson is gone.

And, most definitely, WELCOME BACK CB!!

Who knows about BostonPirate? I really, really hope he comes back. But I have some doubts, as he was part of a rather strange thread controversy in another Forum here...

Strange is putting it lightly dont'cha think Frank? I read a few pages of that thread a while back. Corny was/is monitoring that thread and I felt he should have closed it early on. It became a NASTY witch hunt against BP. Some of the Jubers in that thread even talked about his Health status and threw it in his face..It was nasty and showed a lot of peoples true colors.

That was the ultimate Fail-thread EVER.

^Yes MM, very true, that is. I was only making a "sly" reference and purposely saying very little about it, because those in-the-know would already know what I was referring to, while not encouraging a whole lot of other people to go over and try to find what I'm walking about. In other words, I was trying my best to draw attention, WITHOUT drawing attention, to that thread.

"Tell me more about Andreus" is the exact name of the thread.

It's a long read, but if you want to know why Boston Pirate isn't around and may never be back, the thread will tell you a lot.

Anyone who thinks the thread was a character destruction of BostonPirate didn't read the thread.

BostonPirate attached his personal, in-real-life voucher for a controversial, suspected to be fictional famous former JUBBer who no one can find any evidence ever actually existed, and as soon as that came up BostonPirate disappeared and hasn't been back.

Take from that what you will. BostonPirate inserted himself into the middle of it though, a lynch mob didn't drag him in.

Not to mention that the account for the "suspected to be fictional famous former JUBBer " suddenly showed a login in November (years after the former JUBber died), and BP disappeared from here at almost exactly the same time.

That doesn't make me miss BP any less.

Damn, but you'd make a good attack prosecuting attorney! Disparage with unfounded innuendo, endorse conspiracy theories, and use it to attack someone!

There was never any reason to believe that Andreus was a "fictional" character. Boston Pirate shared his memories of interaction with Andreus, and got jumped on for them. Drama queens who love to run around suspecting people of ill-doing dragged it out and out and out.

We had (and have) more evidence that Andreus was a real live person than we have for the majority of people on JUB.

Well if there wasn't before, someone logged into his account right in the middle of a thread discussing his death. That plus multiple different "real names" that various people verified as "his true offline name" (including Boston Pirate) appear to have never existed in any record anyone can find.

Was anything conclusively proven? No. But someone's naive at this point to accept the story face value. Especially given Andreus's extraordinarily incredible story, and the fact that this site has such a history of dramatic faking.

Plus, wasn't Jackaroe a MOD? Was there a Palace Coup? Or was the Delphic Oracle silent on this?

When Jackoroe returned a few months ago he talked about the vacation he took and why he stayed away so long. So I'm guessing he's Lucky enough to be on another trip towards the end of Dec thru the New Year...

Same thing with Jackaroe. I know several of you have issues with him, but he's actually a very nice guy and I like him a lot.

Speaking of nasty, that's a particularly nasty thing to say about someone who isn't here to defend himself.

What poor form. And you have GC and I on ignore for-- whatever reason.

I don't see any consistency to who you like other than whether they've been here a long time or agree with your politics.

BP could crank out a good broadside when drunk, but he's but a toy boat in a bathtub compared to JUB's 'finest' in that ability.

That nasty comes from resenting the competition in being slanderous while totally overshadowed in reasoning skills.

He's not "competition" just as automatic weapons are not necessary

I remember a story the late, great Ann Richards told about the late, great Texas Congresswoman Barbara Jordan. Ann Richards asked Barbara Jordan about a particularly nasty neighbor of Jordan's who had given her a hard time about something. Jordan responded:

"I am happy to report that she has died and gone to hell." I loved Barbara Jordan.

If alcohol made BP nasty what's Chance's excuse?

BP was never nasty towards me even while drunk so that blows his theory out the window.

Two comments in one sentence combining denial and ignorance.
