Can't download private messages

Clicking on any of the formats to "download all PM" gets a series of messages like this:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in [path]/private.php on line 942

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at [path]/includes/class_core.php:5615) in [path]/includes/functions_file.php on line 161

Etc.


It used to work, but I haven't tried for quite a while (until today).

I just had a look and yes, you get a page with all that at the top

It's only after this load of stuff that the messages begin.

And it begins in 1st August 2008 for me. As I recall, JUB, went through some glitch and all the PMs for the time prior to Aug 2008 was lost.

Thanks. I did see that, but since it was only a pop-up screen, I think I'm still unable to save the whole thing in a file as I was able to do before. When it last worked as I expected, I could save in the format of my choice. Now, it's just the text and I would have to copy it, paste it into a document, save it, and then try to open it in Excel or whatever. It used to do all of this automatically with two or three clicks.

Hmm .. we have custom headers that, of course, start a http stream. The forum then tries do change the http header to a different mime to send you the file. This cannot work. It seems the new forum version somehow "forgot" to suppress output before that.

Makes sense, but does it mean there is no longer an option to do a simple save to a file?

We are checking into this. Hopefully we will find a way to fix it.

Thanks. I selected the CSV option, which gave me a web page full of comma-separated text (which looks rather daunting if you don't expect it). I saved that and was eventually able to open it in Excel - a couple of extra steps to get the same thing, all the emails on a spreadsheet.
