Virginia is probably a Romney win with a 4% margin but shocking that NC is still very close.

LOL. Karl Rove said Romney would get 315 electoral votes.

He has some 'splainin' to do.

Why? The media need a good story to sell. They need a cliffhanger.

It must be noted Ohio has counted 53% of votes... Obama leads 51-48%. however, Cuyahoga county where Cleveland is has only 9% of votes in. Many of the republican counties have fully reported.

As far as I can tell, if Obama wins Florida IT'S WON, at 280.

I have it that even if Florida is lost, then JUST Ohio is enough to break even at 269.

I'm merely speculating... we'll see. But I am confident.

Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy may have helped him Florida where he suffered before in the polls. Some polls show him 5% off. Some polls are just full of shit.

As I said, it seems Obama will win Ohio by a pretty wide margin (~5%) compared to Virginia and NC.

Listening to the Brown concession speech. He will most likely be back in the senate in a few months which makes for a fun dialogue.

Assuming Obama wins what we have coming out of the election is pretty much with the Status Quo with a President who as NO mandate or political capital to spend; especially if Romney wins the popular vote.

On the other paw, the Republicans will hopefully FINALLY realize that the party desperately needs to go back to basics, overhaul the party positions and move back towards the center if they don't want to keep losing elections they should be winning.

I think he'll get Ohio, but Florida has closed back up prior to what I said before. That'll be a nail biter.

I think 290 electoral votes for Obama.

Obama has a substantial lead in another "swing state" Iowa... 57-41% with 19% reporting.

Interesting you bring it up. Virginia is at a narrow 50-49% in favor of Romney. It's a 40,000 vote difference. One state people thought was lost has suddenly closed up.

    Do tell!

Cruz talked about his campaign, and talked about himself...and the miracle of his "win."

Not about the Texans who voted for him, or why we should unite behind him.

I expect, like many Republican Texans over the past decade or so, that Cruz will be an embarrassment to the whole State of Texas.
