Looking for a friend

Hi everyone, I'm 22 years old, from California. I don't post much on here but I do visit this site on a daily basis. I just wanted to post this to see if I could make any friends from here. I am gay and in the closet...Having a hard time with a lot of things and I just want to converse with someone who is also gay.

Every once in a while I get sad and gloomy and that is when I feel like talking to someone the most. I have a very small handful of friends and rarely go out. I'm 5'7, skinny but I've been working out for a few months now, and I am very into films and music.

Yeah we are all on the west coast, but he's in southern Cali, like near L.A., I'm in Northern Cali..

I like pop also. Not my favorite genre but I like it. Yes I do know of her. I used two of her music videos as inspiration for some projects my second year of college.

I actually don't like it much haha. I do somedays but I am not a fan of the hot\warm weather. But it's ok.

I used 'love at first sight' kind of used the same style with the graphic elements in it...and 'can't get you out of my head' for another where I did the same thing that's going on with the lights on the buildings towards the end.

I know, it's fall and it's still really hot here! I have a long term goal of moving to England, but I also like NYC.

I like 'can't get you out of my head.' It's so futuristic looking and she looks amazing in it with that white hooded dress/pants or whatever it is lol. I like that it's so advanced in special effects for it's time. I was obsessed with it when it first came out. I also like the choreography in it and in 'love at first sight'

I live about 20minutes away from the beach and I haven't been to the beach in SOOO long. I prefer to go at night though. I went to the Bay Area when I was a little kid and I don't remember the trip at all but I remember I liked it. I actually wanted to go to UC Santa Cruz after high school and I believe it's a little bit up north from there. I was so devastated when I didn't make it in.

The last three times I went, I went by myself. I go to this cliff I like and just sit there, I know it sounds very sad....and it is but that is what I prefer to do. Do you surf?

I only watch The Voice to see my XTINA! and Adam Levine lol I'm counting down the days to the release of her new album. I liked 'Your Body' but I was over it quick, and now with 'Blank Page' I didn't like it at first and now I've been listening to it like crazy.

thanks, I've been wanting to go but I go work out in the late afternoon and that is when I usually used to go to the cliff.

I checked out the songs, I really liked 'On a Night like This' and the video to 'Chocolate' is pretty cool too.

Coming from someone who has only seen 4 of her videos so far, I must agree. I remember I almost got in trouble at school once cause I was watching her video for 'can't get you out of my head' in class, and my instructor wouldn't believe me that I was watching it to get ideas for my project. -_-

I'm so sad that she won't be there next season, did you hear about that? Shakira is coming in as a new coach.

I had to make a DVD menu out of 3D modeling...the concept was up to me so I decided to build a city and made the lights on the buildings move like the the video. I added a billboard and other neon light sings on the buildings to use as the 'play-special features-commentary' buttons.

Cool! I was going to pre-order it but I'd rather go buy it myself. I haven't, I mainly go on the Male Celeb threads and Fetish Threads....I'm a naughty boy. But I will check those out!

That does sound funny. I think my best friend would be happy that I am gay. But I am too scared/embarrassed to tell her. I hate being depressed about it, I went as far as going in to a therapist and I couldn't even admit that I was gay to her. I basically talked about financial issues and other things that stress me out. So it was useless. I love Chrsitina, I concur about her past music though. I loved Stripped, but it sort of went downhill for me after it and I have high expectations for Lotus. I love 'Blank Page' so far, 'Your Body' was alright. My favorite song from her is 'Walk Away' from Stripped but 'Fighter' is one of my favorite videos from her.
