He was just given an Iphone 5 a couple weeks ago as his work phone instead of the yearly blackberries he is given. He on that apple flow now. He might get himself an Ipad, too.

He has a kindle though, anyone here like/have Amazon's tablet?

I'm in the midst of changing the kitchen in the house I bought and moved into in June. I found a sweet deal on Craigslist on a double oven, still in the box. It was $1,000 less than retail.

So hoping that the pantry wall is rebuilt and the oven is installed and working by Thanksgiving. I'd love to have all three ovens going and bake up a storm this Christmas. Would send homemade stuff back home since I'm not going home Christmas (by choice.)

I like to bake breads, cookies, and other stuff in larger batches, and then take it to work to share, or to friends, or mail it.

The wall oven is a double unit. I also have a gas drop-in range that has a convection oven in the island in my kitchen.

Of course, my large meals were all back in Arkansas when I hosted family gatherings, but they'll never be way out here in those large numbers. I do host dinner parties and card parties now with anywhere between six and thirty guests.

I'd definitely like a leather jacket. I know I could go out and buy one if I save up, but there's something about one that's either passed down from a family member, or given as a thoughtful gift. I had one, but I outgrew it once I hit my mid teens. My mother gave it to Goodwill after that.

If anything else, I'd like a bottle of a really cool whiskey. Not necessarily to drink, but just to have.

Aside from that, I don't really ask for Christmas presents anymore. I usually focus my attention on my younger siblings. If all I get are socks, then so be it. I need them anyway.
