When I open the "New Posts" search page some threads have a little gray arrow in place of the envelope icon to the left - what do they signify?

It looks like they signify threads with a high number of posts and/or views, I guess that's supposed to be the pink envelope icon?

are those threads that you are subscribed too? i don't see the icon anywhere, not even as an overlay. did you already try clearing your cache?

No, I'm not subscribed to any of those threads - I haven't noticed if any of my subscribed threads showed up in "New Posts" search. Cleared Firefox caches and still seeing the arrows.

The pink envelope icons are back in place of the arrows even if I use the back button to go to a page that had the arrows. I suppose that's because someone corrected something on your end?

Not to my knowledge .. the icons look the same for everybody, even if it would have been just on one of the servers, many other people should have seen them, too.

Hmmm, that's odd - I didn't reboot or anything. I didn't think to get the address of the image.
edit: I found it in "View Page Info", I guess my Firefox was just screwing off for a while.
