Team Gaga?
Team Gaga?
^ Certainly not, any good little monster knows Gaga and Kylie have a mutual respect for eachother.
But this is KYLIE'S thread and I want to keep it cute in the spirit of her, so I'll just continue on posting without being bothered. It's not important anyway, I know she's worth 5 stars, that's all that matters.

I voted 5 stars on the thread. The only complaint I have is you find so much, we have nothing to add!![]()

Anyone have a link to a better quality version of this performance of CGYOOMH?
That entrance! My fave Kylie performance from an awards show.

Found this demo on YouTube, it was posted recently. Some comments said it's from 2002/2003, I'm not sure. It is beautiful though, I would love to here it in it's entirety.

A Madonna stan made a hilarious song about Kylie, made me laugh anyway.

Funny parody of the SAW music from the 80s/90s, specifically Kylie's songs.
"Live your dream and never wake up." - Liam Payne
This Spitting Image parody pokes fun at Kylie during her era with SAW back in the 80s.
Some of my favorite lyrics:
“I’m the girl from Neighbours, I’m the bit part in a soap. But now I’m really famous so if you’re useless don’t lose hope!”
and
“My voice is just as subtle as my playing of Charlene, but that’s no disadvantage ‘cause it’s all done by machine.”
Charlene was Kylie’s character in the soap Neighbours and “all done by machine” is a jibe at the fun but mass-produced electropop of Stock/Aitken/Waterman. They also produced and wrote for Rick Astley which is why the puppets voice changes to Rick’s at 1:20 secs.
Brilliantly executed bit.

Kylie Hates Wire Hangers!!!
http://popcrush.com/kylie-minogue-fear/
For being such a fashionista, we were quite shocked to find out that Kylie Minogue has a fear of hangers!
She told ELLE UK (via Ace Showbiz), “The problem is I hate putting things on hangers. I have a hanger phobia — I don’t like the way they sound when you put them in the wardrobe.”
Have you ever had a dog whistle? When you blow it, canines go crazy because they can hear the high frequency sound it’s making. This is pretty much the same deal with Kylie Minogue and the sound hangers make… Pretty much.
Lame article, but meh.

An excellent article about Kylie joining Roc Nation:
http://www.digitalspy.com/music/thes...s-it-mean.htmlDespite hinting at a break from music following last year's 12-month celebration of a quarter of a century in the biz, Kylie Minogue has seemingly played us all for fools and is gearing up to release a new album this year. Hooray!
Even more surprising is the announcement that she's signed a new deal with Roc Nation. We're not entirely sure what that means, but we're assuming that Jay-Z is in some part her new boss. No, we can't quite get our heads around that either.
But what could this all mean for Kylie's 12th album and, crucially, Kylie herself? We've listed a few things we'd like to see happen during her next campaign.
A proper US album release
It remains baffling to this day that Kylie's only truly successful album in the States is 2001's Fever. She's openly admitted in the past that Americans have struggled to warm to her en masse compared with the rest of the world, but now that all manner of acts are finding success in the US, it's high time she re-established herself out there.
A completely bonkers collaboration
Teaming up with another artist can, if done right, prove extremely beneficial. She'd need to be careful to avoid looking like she's desperately clinging on to her youth, but a quick glance over Roc Nation's books - Shakira, MIA Timbaland, Santigold, CALVIN HARRIS - throws up some potentially amazing hook-ups. Mind you, they also look after The Ting Tings.
R&B Kylie
Don't get us wrong, we'll always be here for dance Kylie, but her limited delving into (sort of) R&B hasn't been disastrous and we wouldn't be opposed to it in the future. And by R&B, we mean 'Put Yourself In My Place', 'Word Is Out' and, of course, 'Red Blooded Woman'
A guest rap from the boss
We're still not sure if this is a good idea or not, but the idea of Jay-Z rearing his head to say a few words on a Kylie song, where he loosely rhymes "Minogue" with "explode", makes us smile in a good way.
A flamboyant and completely over-the-top world tour.
Thankfully, Kylie is already pretty experienced when it comes to these.
Of course, this Roc Nation business could mean very little and she'd just continue as she is, which seems to be going pretty well for her as well. But whatever she's up to, we're guessing by the looks of her official website and this news that we'll all be hearing something sooner rather than later.
I'm looking forward to this move, I'm certain she'll get proper promo in the US with Jay Z.

Kylie Minogue Working With Rihanna Producers For First Album With Roc Nation
http://www.entertainmentwise.com/new...ith-Roc-NationKylie Minogue has revealed she is working with producers Stargate, who have produced several hits for Rihanna, on her first release following her signing with Roc Nation.
The 'Timebomb' singer confirmed her signing to Jay-Z's management label in February, joining the likes of Rita Ora and Shakira on the roster, and it appears Kylie has wasted no time in getting to work on her new record, hitting the studio with super-producers Stargate, who have worked with Rihanna on several tracks including 'Diamonds,' as well as Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey and Beyonce.
Kylie, 44, announced the collaboration with the Norwegian duo on Instagram, sharing a photo from the recording studio of a microphone which was labelled with 'Stargate.' “#tunes #stargate,” read Kylie's message.
The Australian singer recently hinted that she was also working with 'Wild Ones' singer Sia, with the pair tweeting that they had met up with each other.
“New soft spot for @kylieminogue,” Sia wrote with Kylie replying: “@Sia is the business.” Sia later added: “@kylieminogue i can't believe we forgot to do a PHOTOSHOOT."
Shortly after news of the signing broke, Jay-Z released a statement confirming the new addition to the Roc family.
"Roc Nation would like to welcome Aussie singer, recording artist, songwriter, actress and designer Kylie Minogue to the family," Jay-Z wrote in a letter on his Life + Times website.
“In a career now spanning 25 years, Kylie has released 11 studio albums, two live CDs, eight live concert DVDs, a greatest hits double album, and multiple video packages.
“She has released over 50 hit singles worldwide, including the Grammy-winning Come Into My World, and has sold more than 68 million albums worldwide. Needless to say, we’re excited to have Kylie join the Roc fam.”
