Jason I'm sure you've heard about this...Can you believe Kylie is doing an Album AND management deal with Jigga? I think it's a SMART move on her part...He did WONDERS for Rhianna..

Kylie is a Dance Diva but I can't wait to see what Jay-Z's label has planned for her...Will she fuse R&B with her music? Will she have 1 or 2 rap-duets? Maybe samplings will be a part of the packing...

When I heard I was kind of confused but then very excited, it's a genius move for her. Jay and Roc Nation will only help her in America.

I'm not sure what direction she will go in with the new album, but she did go a bit R&B with Body Language, even sampling vocals from Ludachris on 'Chocolate'. I'm so ready for the next album though.

Kylie Minogue "very much in love"

The 44-year-old star has been with the Spanish model for almost five years, and her actor and comic friend Mathew Horne even thinks that they will have a family together.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Horne said: ''He would totally emasculate me due to his height and exceptional good looks. I've heard he's lovely.

''They are very much in love. I think she wants to [have children]. Andrés is obviously the guy for her. I don't think it's a secret that she would like children.''

Horne and Minogue both star together in Hey Diddly Dee, which is part of Sky Arts' second series of Playhouse Presents original drama, and Horne revealed he encouraged the singer to sign up.

He said: ''The guys at Sky actually got me to approach her because we've known each other a long time and she listens to me. I think she trusts my judgement about what's worth doing.''

Kylie Minogue At NewNowNext Awards: Singer Dishes On Gay Fans, Album

Kylie Minogue looked radiant at the Logo NewNowNext Awards, where she picked up the Dance Floor Hero Award.

The pop diva, 44, spoke to Willam and Louis Virtel about her “Abbey Road Sessions” album, which was released last year. She also gave Willam a special tweet thrill.

In February, it was announced that Minogue would join the ranks of Jay-Z, Willow Smith, J. Cole and Rita Ora on the Roc Nation label.

The Logo NewNowNext Awards 2013 will be air on Logo on April 15 at 10 p.m./9 p.m. central time.

Kylie Minogue gives advice to cancer patients

Kylie Minogue has been honoured with a courage award at a cancer charity benefit in Beverly Hills.

The Australian singer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, admitted she found it hard to feel positive while battling the disease.

Speaking on the red carpet she said: "Sometimes when people say 'be positive' you can't be positive all the time."

She was presented with the award at the EIF Women's Cancer Research's annual benefit on Thursday night.

Minogue said she has been "inspired" by making music in the US after signing with Jay-Z's music label Roc Nation earlier this year.

I said this before I think, but I'm never impressed by the actual lyrics in her songs (they're never too complex or anything), but the way she sings them is so different I get so fixated it makes no sense

^I love Your Love & Fragile off Fever. And Everything is Beautiful off Aphrodite (it's probably my favorite off that entire CD). Only song I really loved from X was Speakerphone. Wasn't so into Light Years and her work before that, but On a Night Like This is amazing. Loved I Should Be So Lucky as well

I did love her Abbey Road Sessions disc last year. It put a lot of her songs in a different perspective.

Music: Kylie Minogue on Life-Changing Cancer Scare, New Album

Last February, following the Grammy Awards in L.A., Kylie Minogue joined Deadmau5 on stage at House of Blues at a Roc Nation-sponsored benefit. Fast-forward three months later, and Minogue tells Rolling Stone that her move to Roc Nation and recording her new album in Los Angeles have completely rejuvenated her.

"It's been very interesting to be making an album primarily here – just the slight difference in the way people work," she says. "And it's a great new energy being with Roc Nation. It's a very exciting time."

She's working with a new set of producers, from Pharrell and Stargate to Darkchild, and finding a new sound. "It's bringing out something different in me, which is cool," she says. "I need to know what it is to do something different – different style of delivery, different beats, different subject matter. I think that I am a natural chameleon, so that floats my boat . . . I will maintain the DNA of what a Kylie track is, just because I'm on it. I like to try move the goalpost and experiment with different sounds. I can't tell you exactly what it is. I couldn't really describe it yet. But I can tell you I'm having a lot of fun in the process."

So when will people get to hear this new sound? "That's the $64,000 question," she says. "This year – I'm hoping sooner rather than later. Is that vague enough?"

One thing she is certain of is that she cannot wait to start playing this new material live. "There are definitely tracks where I sit in the studio and say, 'Just give me the audience and this will be magic,'" she says. "I'm desperate for that moment."

Minogue will be onstage in Beverly Hills tonight, though not as a performer. Eight years after being diagnosed with breast cancer, she will be given the Courage Award in Beverly Hills at An Unforgettable Evening benefitting EIF's Women's Cancer Research Fund. The event will also feature a performance by Rolling Stone cover boy Bruno Mars, who Minogue is excited to see.

"I'm a huge, huge fan, so I think Bruno is gonna be amazing, and I am looking forward to that just to let loose – I can finally breathe," she says.

"It's much more nerve-wracking to speak than to perform. Especially with a subject like this," she says. "I don't like to talk too much about my experience because it's super personal, but I do speak about it because it's important and it's not something you can give sound bites on. It's a profound, life-changing experience, and there are so many emotional levels and stories within that story it's hard to wrap up how you feel about it in a few nifty minutes."

Giving a speech is just one concern Minogue had with accepting the recognition. The Courage Award is a lofty moniker, so much so that Minogue admits that caused her a moment of doubt as well. "It's so weighty that my initial response was I didn't know if I [deserve] this, because frankly you don't tend to think of yourself as being courageous when there are countless people who are more courageous each and every day than I'll ever be in my life," she says.

But after careful consideration she decided that the award was bigger than just her. "I realized in my story there was a lot of courage, and from the people around me as well – my parents, my brother and sister, the rest of my family, friends and from myself, of course," she says. "So I'm very honored to be presented with the award, and I can only accept on behalf of anyone who has been through or is going through this kind of ordeal, because you do have to dig deep."

She hopes to offer others battling cancer a glimmer of optimism. "I know when I was there, you look for any signs – big, small. You're just looking for any kind of hope that you can cling on to," she says. "What's important about nights like An Unforgettable Evening, where it's shrouded in glamour and fabulous people, is the funds that go to the real heroes who are doing the essential work, which then gives patients and their loved ones hope. And when you have hope, the courage that you need is made a little bit easier."
    http://m.rollingstone.com/?redirurl=...album-20130502

I highlighted the point of interest for me. I'm interested in hearing the subject matter on the new album. One consistent theme with Kylie is she always stays in 'love' and generally all her music is positive. If she goes with a darker sound I hope it's balanced with the lighthearted stuff too. The Abbey Road Sessions seemed to start her in a different direction already, that album is kinda depressing. Kylie always stays current and innovative with each new album, but I need that light and happy quality she gives. Hopefully it will not be too different from her usual.

    Happy Birthday Kylie Minogue,

Your concert changed my life, seeing how you've been through so much yet always manage to stay kind and lovely to everyone is an inspiration to me. I was being a bit sarcastic, but yeah, Skirt is OK. Hopefully the rest of the album is better. I remember when Aphrodite was in the works, I saw her concert in Oakland and she performed 'Better Than Today'. I loved it, but it was way different than the rest of the album ended up being. I think Skirt is a bad choice for a first single though. I'll still buy the album regardless of course.
