I have about 1500 songs on mine: 2/3rds of that is "official Konami songs". It's a bit unfortunate that DDR is pretty much dead in the western world. There was no current arcade release in NA and Konami released *supposedly* their last console game for the western world this past year. With the iterations of actual dance games via kinect, I see DDR becoming a relic. So I doubt this topic will be popular at all.
Course I just learned on my laptop that it is a pos that can't register "hands" so that will be a minor nuisance once I get a new portable HD so I can put XP on it to play with a pad (win7 drivers suck).
My favorite mix has to be DDR Supernova. The game is actually sitting in my PS2 near the TV. Reckon my endurance is nowhere it was about 5 years ago when I played hardcore. I can do up to 12 (X-scale) on a whim and then I get pooped out. I actually want to start playing regularly again because I'm getting a little pudgy. Hell it's a workout just lugging my cobalt flux from my closet to the living room.
I loooooooove DDR!!
I have many of the games, only games I'll still play as an adult. I'm pretty good, god I haven't played in a while.
My favorite is Kylie Minogue's Love At First Sight from DDRMAX2, because it's my favorite song by my favorite singer.
I like any of the songs that are real upbeat and fast paced for dancing to, like 'butterfly', 'A Geisha's Dream' 'In The Navy' haha.

ayayay I'm your little butterfly, green, black, and blue make the colors in the sky.
Always used to play DDR when I was little back in the PS1 days. I had the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th mixes. Before I got the dance pads, I played with the controllers. I guess that explains my fast fingers. I still have the dance pads, still have my working ps1, and still have my DDR disks. Someone come over and play![]()
Balls to the walls hella fuckin awesome.
^ I'll be right over!

Call me a nerd if you want, but me personally, i make arrows for songs for the PC version that havent been done yet. Just something I do for fun. Never uploaded them to be played but its possible to play them with a usb dance pad.

I own Dance Masters/Evolution and can dance A Geisha's Dream. That is FARR more embarrassing than anything on DDR...
MAX2 was my first DDR also but as I said, Supernova is my favorite mix. The license selection isn't as strong as MAX2 but the rest is better. Maybe I'll do a video of me playing So Deep at some point when my stamina gets there.
Also if you don't mind me asking Copy, what do you use for a recording program on your PC?
Omg I love ddr. I am so Wapanese. My friends always laugh at me when we go to Dave and Busters, but I don't give a fuck.
Playing ddr drunk is fun. Lol.
I been a fan since the beginning. I had the 1st mix game for playstation when I was in elementary school. I still have the plastic pad.
Anything before 5th mix/ddrmax2 is my favorite. Old school ddr.
Extreme, supernova, X are alright. But the older ones are better.
I never liked stepmania. Too boring.
