For me, it's a toss-up between this:
(Some people think TNBC is a Christmas movie, but I think of it as both a Hallowe'en and Christmas movie. Is that weird?)

The Haunting:
^That's an excellent movie. Very classic psychological horror.
The remake was absolutely atrocious.
When I was a Kid "Salems Lot" was the Annual flick we'd watch after a long night of walking the neighborhoods...I saw an episode a while back and WONDERED why in the hell did that Movie series scare us as Kids...
Today the ONLY thing I look forward to every October is Sy-Fy's series "Scare Tactics"....LOL...You talk about will havie you rolling on the Floor...It is the ONLY show on TV that actually makes me laugh out Loud....I don't care if Scare Tactics is 100% scripted or not but the unsuspecting participants have the CRAZIEST reactions that you gotta laugh at....
Has to be Charlie Brown, The Great Pumpkin
"Being right never felt so wrong -
We must deceive to belong..."
^30 Days Of Night was a great movie
a couple of my old favs

I don't see The Nightmare Before Christmas as a Christmas movie. I love it though. When I get my own place again I want those Nightshade jars for my kitchen. I've been looking everywhere in Australia for them and can't find them anywhere. I'll have to buy them from overseas.
Both of those movies would be my favourite "Halloween" movies although we don't celebrate Halloween in Australia as much as the supermarkets have been trying to bring it in for the past few years.
Recently I heard a 'wise guy' story that I had a party at my home for twenty-five men. It's an interesting story, but I don't know twenty-five men I'd want to invite to a party. ~Joan Crawford
Not strictly a Halloween movie, but I Married a Witch with Veronica Lake and Frederic March is always fun.
Nightmare Before Christmas. I have a Jack and Sally tattoo![]()
I don't have a Halloween movie, but i've got both Hocus Pocus, and a Nightmare Before Christmas.
There is only one movie that i watch every year without fail - Home Alone - Christmas week.
Warwickshire Born 'n' Bred.
My Favourite... The Changling (the original one)
The Omen II
Salem's Lot
Inspired - but too tired.
I love both Scream and Bravo's Hundred Scariest Movie Moments Of All Time (even though they don't play the latter anymore so they can play real whores of whatever city all day...)
I wanna know what it'd be like, to find perfection in my pride, to see nothing in the light.
Maybe Scream. I love Scream, but then I love a load of other horror and scary movies too.
When I think about the really great, stand-out episodes of the old black-and-white "Twilight Zone" (1959-65), such as "Where Is Everybody?", "Nightmare At 20,000 Feet", "Time Enough At Last", and "Five Characters In Search Of An Exit", I think of this movie, "Phone Booth"...
I consider this movie an honorary episode of Twilight Zone, because, omfg, does this movie screw with your head or what? This is a textbook example of how to do a psychological thriller and do it well, in the same vein as something Serling, Hitchcock or even Stephen King would write.
What would you do if you were on a bustling street at a phone booth, and you wind up being held hostage, and blamed for a murder you didn't commit. I freaking love, "Phone Booth"!!!
Why I ♥ Betty White - Her quote to Huffington Post's Chris Harnick:
Oh! I didn't know I was a gay icon. I get a lot of mail -- but I don't get many bad letters -- but I got a woman the other day that was so upset with me because they said, "How do you feel about the gay marriage thing?" and my answer to that is, "I really don't care with whom you sleep, I just care what kind of a decent human being you are." I figure all the rest of it is your business and not mine. And not hers, incidentally.
Am I the only one who watches Halloween on Halloween?
My favorite is Trick 'r Treat
cliche' i know but carpenters HALLOWEEN does it for me every time also![]()
It is hard for me to pick an all time favorite, I watch a ton a horror movies and movies in general so I'd be going neurotic trying to pick one or just a few. So, I will just say my favorite movie for this year would be "V/H/S". If you're into the "found footage" stuff, then you'll most likely dig the movie. It's pretty much a found footage horror anthology, really cool. There are some flaws with the movie but if you can look past them you're in for a fun horror anthology.
I think that for us it has to be TNBC.
Just because.
I totally love hocus pocus, scream and all the resident evil movies watch them all the time.
All of 'em! There are some ridiculously fun movies for this time of year!
i like the nightmare before christmas but i think that's too cliche right now. i guess i also like mad monster party or trick or treat for something more adult
"Live your dream and never wake up." - Liam Payne
I like Halloween. Good scary movie.

Wind Chill
Emily Blunt, Ashton Holmes
Two college students share a ride home for the holidays. When they break down on a deserted stretch of road, they're preyed upon by the ghosts of people who have died there.

I love Halloween, and the music
I was 2 when this movie first came out and I recall being 8 when I first watched it. I still dream of Freddy to this very day, lol. He is, by far, the scariest horror personality to me.
And I love the score for this movie. They did an excellent job.
It's a Disney movie called Hocus Pocus.
I like the old classic horror movies - Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman and so on.
