i live in the new jersey which is possibly the most polluted state in the country. some years ago, i watched modern marvels: engineering disasters and they talked about the love canal in upstate new york which led to the superfund program. to be belief, there's a lot of pollution outthere that has happened to the environment, people's healths are at risk and a there's really no way of knowing how bad it is since the government itself can't be trusted.
it would really be interesting to know what the hell is in the air being that there's chemical companies releasing fumes in the air, toxic waste dumps damn near everywhere, nuclear power plants releasing radiation, the army and navy testing things in the air and etc. i think it's safe to say that there's things floating in the air that does affect people's healths without them knowing. maybe that's why depression, anxiety, heart disease, cancer and etc are on the rise and the thing is we don't and can't even know.
