There is a significant difference in providing guidance and support to one of our friends who invite us into their country.

But I realize it is impossible to be rational and add to your talking points.

So, when Mr. Obama doesn't send troops, he's weak and dithering. When he does, it's illegal and a political ploy. Truely, you have a dizzying intellect.

I find it curious we can supply troops to protect the integrity of Jordan's border with Syria but not to protect the sovereignty of our Embassy and staffs' lives in Libya. Someone blew this big time.

Another assassination of an embassy employee in the middle east.

Why don't we try protecting ourselves first before involving ourselves into a new war. The President said he was not going to get involved -- this is how Vietnam started.

Really was McCarthy-ism around and then the big red scare? Vietnam indeed. Vietnam was going into Afghanistan.

I am certain our worldwide embassy staffs feel safer knowing that armed-to-the-hilt Jordan is being guarded at its borders by the US.

I see Jack thinks the BBC lies in its reports.

Not surprising, I suppose, from a fan of a network that went to court to secure its "right to lie".

"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "

BTW, if we're going to send troops anywhere over there, Jordan is a superb choice. Just to get a bit of a perspective:
