* weigh less than average. No curves anywhere.
* have a generically "cute" face. Nothing "rugged", just sort of androgynously "cute".
* aren't too bright.

I realize I'm putting myself on the line with that last bit. But please note that I'm not saying everybody who meets the other characteristics meets the last one. Just if you there's a pretty smart kid who has the other characteristics, I wouldn't think of him as a "twink". I tend to think of "twinks" as...well, simple. Young, inexperienced, pretty shallow, enjoying idle chit-chat about this and that. And please note I'm not putting myself above them. I don't think I'm "better" than twinks. I'm just not in the same social sphere.

I've noticed a few people think along these lines, and I'm always shocked. I've met so many Latin twinks in my time.

I also have found it interesting that you mentioned lack of curves. People tend to associate being a "twink" with having virtually no ass. I've never seen it that way.
