Help IDing a Movie

I was wondering if anyone knows the name of this movie I saw years ago.

It's a British, looks to be from the 50s or 60s and black & white. The plot is basic. Something has happened and the either the earth is being drawn toward the sun. Or the sun is being drawn toward the earth. I don't remember which.

Does anybody has any ideas on the title?
