tbh I didn't follow these stories up and do not know if such change in their sexuality is permanent once they're done getting over the trauma with a therapy... and if the change was actually permanent I would be tempted to believe it a the straight phase that was transitory in the first place. I too believe sexual orientation is hardwired from a young age and always find it hard to believe when some guys swear they didn't know they were gay before their late teens or even during adulthood But I'm ready to just accept it even though I find it hard to comprehend intellectually.

You're right. It was a change of heart. I only mentioned the high-school incident to show that I had no gay tendencies there, either before or after. It was many years later that the leaning toward cocks replaced my desire for pussies. I don't know when it happened or how or why. It seemed so OK. I have no problem believing the story, because I know somebody precisely like that. This person changed INSTANTLY, as though somebody threw a toggle switch in his brain. He was happily married, kids and all, and he suddenly "went gay" without warning in the space of less than one day.

I know him well enough to have figured out he's not one of these guys who lies or stretches the truth, plays pranks on people, or "goes illogical" and all that.

So, I'm convinced that it can happen, but that it is very RARE. I've certainly not been aware about anybody else I've ever known, who had such an experience (in either direction).
