Jessica's Name Game performance was the highlight of the season. The rest of the show is just getting hard to follow.

Am I the only one who thought the scene was just okay?![]()
No. It was just okay for me, too.
Sounds like it would be as fun as a Salem Witch Hunt themed season. Also, the setting of New Orleans would make for a more diverse cast.
Anyway, Ryan Murphy said he missed the Tate and Violet love story, so S3 is going to be about "evil glamour" and a "Romeo and Juliet" type of scenario set in a place where terrible things have happened in real life. Erm, well it sounds kind of boring but we'll see.
Tbh, I have no idea where the pregnancy idea is coming from.
Either way, Ryan Murphy has already confirmed that the Devil/Sister Mary Eunice story is totally done with and that the Devil was taken by the Angel of Death.
Finally got caught up, except this week's. Just watched the previous episode. Seeing Jude cut loose and break the record was classic. I'm really digging Lana too, with all that she has endured. Hoping she makes it to the end and write the big tell all about Briarcliff.
Sorry. Dunno where I got the pregnancy idea. Duh.
Does anybody know where I can stream the latest episode online? My usual site is down and my boo and I need to catch up.
sokker is actually a bisexual woman. I am not even sure why having a lesbian storyline is turning her off and why she wishes that this season would feature gay men again.
She's complaining about a lesbian storyline being included to titillate the straight men which makes no sense to me because the relationship Lana has with her partner is not exploited like that at all on the show. And for all this talk about titillating, I suspect that the main reason she wants to see a gay storyline in every season is so that she can be titillated by it. It's certainly not because lesbians are over-represented in the media like she claims-- they aren't.
I'm enjoying this season but I get the feeling that they are dealing with wayyyy too many themes in the same story. I mean you got evil spirits, aliens and murderers on one season alone and it doesn't really feel like there's any connection between the stories besides Briarcliff. If they find a way to make it all come together and making sense I'll be pleasantly surprised. If not, I just hope they won't throw random subplots next season like they did in this one.
Okay, we need to talk ya'll.
Did Kit's little axe murdering slut give birth to the anti christ?
Did anyone else get anti christ teas when she said something like "This baby will change the way people think" or whatever the hell she said. Basically saying he will start a revolution
I was like....

Is it sick that I wanted to have a glass of milk after watching the last episode?![]()
Best part of the entire episode

Yes that's the most epic TV moment for the past year or so.
Okay y'all. This week's ep was the T.
Fuck Kit, fuck Grace, and fuck Jude. This was all about Lady Lana.
All season I wanted our GOOD sis to escape Briarcliff, write dat tell all, and scoop all the awards. It was her season finale worthy ending, which is why it scares the hell outta me that there's still two episodes left. We know from the previews that Bloody Face 2 is tryna track ha down, and I'ma be mad if she gets got 40+ years down the line after everything she's been through. But on the other hand, we know Lana is bout dat lyfe and I just can't see her not carrying a .45 in her purse.
This season has been an emotional drop zone.
Lana, Kit and Grace will not get happy endings despite getting away from Briarcliff Manor. I just have this ominous feeling about it.
Anyway, the Monsignor and Jude...What the hell was all of that about? Sorry but the two of them suddenly having a falling out was out of nowhere since they seemed to have bonded again in the last episode when the Devil was running amok. And the Monsignor being so willing to throw her under the bus for his ambitions just sets his character development way back since he appeared to have a real breakthrough when he was fighting off the Devil's temptations (trying to convince him to put aside his faith/morals to achieve his goal of getting to Rome). He realized that he had gone off the path of righteousness and seemed to reconnect with his faith like Jude had. Now it's like we're back at square one with the two of them. But the teaser for next episode shows him promising to free Jude. Huh? Ok.
I totally agree about the character development of the Monsignor...this episode didn't work for me mainly because of that. I felt as though it was an entirely different character from last week so the whole story kinda crumbled for me. Insisting that Jude was dead was too creepy and not very believable for his character.
Something about the Lana story isn't working either but I loved when she flipped him off and then later shot him. I'm not sure why but something seems off. Maybe this is a needed transition for whatever happens next?
Who was hat woman at Kit's house?
Wasn't it his wife he was accused of murdering?
So Kitt has two women and two newborn babies living in his house. What kinda polygamy...
Yeah, the Monsignor is all over the place. First, he was seen as the fool and somewhat the bad guy by turning against Jude. He then discovered that the devil was in Mary Eunice, sought advice from Jude, and killed(or saved) Mary Eunice, redeeming himself and becoming a her0(somewhat). Then he does a complete turn around and becomes the bad guy all over again.
Balls to the walls hella fuckin awesome.
The devil must have entered him that's the only explanation for the complete turn.
That is what I was wondering when he pushed the sister over the balcony...did the devil leave Mary Eunice or stay inside of her? When the angel of death said she was gonna "take both of you" I was wondering if it was her and possibly a baby or seed of one?...or her and the devil?
Well maybe she planned to take both but then wasn't able to.
I thought she did at first but after seeing the Monsignor suddenly change so much I changed my mind.
I think y'all are looking too far into this Monsignor business.
Ryan Murphy can only juggle so many storylines at once. Haven't y'all ever seen Glee?
Excerpt from an article containing Q&A with Ryan Murphy:
http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/01/03/am...ame-exclusive/Entertainment Weekly: So is the devil gone? Did the Angel of Death take away the devil?
Ryan Murphy: I really loved that ending for her character. We didn’t want she dies and the devil goes into someone else. I liked the idea that the only thing more powerful than the devil is the Angel of Death, which is actually the cousin of the devil. I liked that ending and I thought it was good. That’s always what happens historically around episode 10, we start wrapping everything up and characters die. So this was a big one
Balls to the walls hella fuckin awesome.
True. I dropped Glee pretty quickly, but I am very familiar with Nip/Tuck which was always really entertaining but often made very little sense because advancing the plot with a lot of craycray was the priority. Sometimes you just have to deal with sloppy writing and character development on Ryan Murphy shows. They always start with an interesting premise but their quality is just all over the place most of the time.
Yeah, something is really off. And why are things happening so quickly? And why is everything just falling into place for her? It makes me nervous for her.
Just saw this week's episode earlier today. It was at first hard to get used to the sudden shift in story and how quickly it advanced. With two episodes left, they are doing the complete opposite of last season that ended too quickly. It looks like this time they are stretching it. Really wasn't expecting Lana's escape and book until the last episode. Although I do like that she's going to be trying to get Sister Jude out (I assume once she realizes she's not dead).
my favorite line was Lana's " I'm tough but i'm no cookie" no u ain't gurl!
is titty man bloody face in the present?
OK I am a week behind the US so I didn't read the comments. Just want to give my 2 cents: I have to say that Jessica Lang, Evan Peters and Zachary Quinto kept me watching it. Slow start I thought, I'm still not sure how the hell the Aliens fit in but what I will say is that I love how the horror has changed from the vengeful ghosts of season 1 to human horrors through Alden and spiritual horrors through Sisters Jude and Mary Eunice. Lana recently has come into her own and all the characters I have mentioned their actors deserve rewards especially showing how different the parts are from what they had in S1. Hope we get a S3.
"Flipping Dykes I though they were a myth like Weapons of Mass Destruction" Grace Adler.
What did I just watch.
For real for real tho, I'm not flipping my shit about Queen Lana like most of tumblr is right now. I mean when you get chained up and raped in a basement and held in an asylum against your will for being gay, you got a reason to be a bitch. I just hope this isn't the writers' way of making Lana more... disposable.
Ugh. One more week, gurlz. I'm ready for this roller coaster to be over.
A little all over the place.
Balls to the walls hella fuckin awesome.
I agree it's definitely a little all over the place. Kit and Jude's story lines are just ridiculous. I mean him living (and sleeping!) with both Alma and Grace? It's a wonder it took that long for one of them to kill the other. And I have a sinking feeling that that is the end of the alien story line and we're never going to get a full answer on that.
And I also agree with BFizzle about Lana. As much as I love her (and now sort of love to hate her with the whole mega bitch thing coming in) I have a horrible sinking feeling that they're making her a bitch so that people don't get too worked up over her death next week.
I just cannot handle another season finale where everyone dies. I will be so pissed if that's what happens.
LMAO @ BFizzle's reaction.
I guess I need to watch this episode asap. Brb.
I have to agree. I can't believe that I watched an entire season! I really thought that I was going to fall off.
Again. Last night was strange, strange, strange. I flipped back and forth in between Nashville and FX because sometimes, AHS seems like they are just writing as they go.
Ugh...last night...it was so uneven. I am not really liking the final moments of this story.....
It is strange because the writing on this show can be so damn good and then they drop the ball?????? Last week it was the Monsignor who completely changed his personality...this week it is Lana....
