Project Runway Season 10

So I looked but didn't see one started so I thought I would open up the Season 10 Project Runway thread

What do you all think so far? I'm thinking that Melissa, Sanjia, and Dmitry are my favorite designers so far. Ven though makes beautiful dresses but his attitude is far too snooty for me.

I am loving this season so far. Great designs, challenges and lots of drama.

Speaking of drama, what happened to the beef between Christopher and Gunnar? That was funny but it seemed to fade away. I guess that's a good thing.

What's his problem? Despite him being an amazing designer and having great taste and skills I would not have been upset if Heidi sent him home.

This season has actually been really good so far!

After the last couple seasons (we don't need to talk about all stars) I was considering not watching again, but this one feels like a step in the right direction.

Eh, I liked Ven in the beginning but as the show progressed not only does his attitude stink but as Dmitry put it "Ven's a one trick pony".

My favorites are Sanji, Chris, Fabio, and Melissa. I also like Dmitry and Elena but they don't wow me that much.

So, Gunner is gone. I'm not upset. It was the right decision. Ven's attitude has gotten better and despite making such similar styled clothes the past five or whatever challenges I still believe he's more talented than Gunner. Even though that dress he did last night was ATROCIOUS! OMG - what was he thinking? They even pulled Tim onto the floor when the judges were speaking about him which I have never seen before.

Dmitry's outfit was stunning though. He deserved that win. Sanji's was good but Dmitry blew her out of the water.

Question - does anyone know where I can find updates on winning designers from past seasons? Like, what they're up to? What they're doing and if they have been successful in the industry?

I'm really, truly not surprised Ven was sent home. I think he just became exhausted and was running out of ideas. Boy, that last "thing" he created for the Rockettes was... bad.

I'm surprised at Elena's change of attitude. It's kind of freaky. But good for her.

I'm in love with Chris. His talent, handsomeness, personality and sense of humor. Sigh. I wish I had a guy like him.

I agree. I definitely did not see Ven producing anything for Heidi's baby line. Wow, that would of been a mess. Apparently he only know how to work with models.

Although I am kind of curious to see the disaster he would have come up with.

I wasn't exactly shocked but I did hate to see her go.

I suppose it was just as much a cumulative decision as it was based on the challenge. Judges seemed to like each outer garment, but equally dislike the ensembles. I think it all boiled down to a matter of taste. I can appreciate Elena’s love for the modern, but modern didn't always translate into something that was nice to look at. No doubt she’s talented and all, but she probably had one too many missteps.

All that said, I’m thinking Melissa's on the chopping block this week.

And we come to the end of season 10. What a disappointment. I thought Dimitri's collection was kind of tacky -- studded shoulders, sheer blouses, and the gorilla sleeve jacket. <urp> Oh, and the styling! Yikes!

Fabio should have won, hands down!
