Lost in a Dream
Hello everyone! I've read thousands of stories online and thought I'd contribute to the internet with one of my own. I will say that this is entirely fictional, although some characters are 'inspired' by friends. I would also like to add that I would love any kind of comment, question, PM or constructive criticism. Without further ado, I give you Lost in a Dream.
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 1
Tap, tap, tap...
As I started waking up, I looked over towards the blurred mass of green numbers blinking in front of me.
Tap, tap, tap...
Even though I knew what the clock read, I put my glasses on and saw the 12:00 flashing in front of me. ‘Crap,’ I thought. ‘Power must have gone out.’ Based on the brightness of the light shining through the window, I thought it must have been midmorning.
Tap, tap, tap...
Disoriented from noise and time, I rubbed my eyes to wake myself up. As I started to get up, I realized I wasn’t alone in my bed. ‘Strange,’ I thought, ‘Friday nights can be a blur to some people, but I certainly didn’t get drunk!’ As the guy in my bed was facing away from me, I took note of some of his features. His back was a pale white like my skin. He had short, dirty blond hair. He looked like he was in good shape, but looks can be deceiving.
Tap, tap, tap...
‘There that sound was again!’ I thought to myself as I tried to figure out what happened last night. At this point, I got out of bed to see if I could place where the sound was coming from.
Knock, knock, knock...
Whatever it was, it was getting louder. At first it had sounded like someone using a finger to knock on a door. Now, it sounded as if someone was at least using their knuckles, albeit quite tentatively. I got up and went to the door to peer through the eye-hole to see who was there.
Knock, knock, knock...
‘What the?!’ I thought to myself as nobody appeared to be knocking on the door. “Who’s there?” I said, my voice rough and raspy like usual in the morning.
Knock, knock, knock...
“Seriously,” I said, mumbling to myself as I opened the door, “this isn’t funny!”
Knock, knock, knock...
“What the?!” I said, astonished, as there was nobody at the door. I looked down the hallway of the dormitory, and I didn’t see anyone. Nobody was knocking at anybody’s door, but I could still hear the sound.
Knock, knock, knock...
Confused, I quickly shut the door and decided to lay back down. As I was getting in bed, the strange man was looking at me with a smile. At that moment, I forgot about the knocking sound and took in more of his features. His blue eyes seemed to be sparkling at me as he smiled, and it seemed like his smile had stopped time itself.
“Hi” I said, returning a warm smile of my own, “I wish I could say I remember everything from last night, but, quite frankly, I don’t remember a single thing!”
He opened his mouth like he was going to say something, but all that came out was that sound. It was much louder this time than all the other times I had heard it.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK!
My eyes were wide as saucers as I bolted upright in bed. My heart was pounding and I could feel the beads of sweat sliding down my forehead. I rubbed my eyes a bit to get my bearings. The clock read 11:30. I put my glasses on and looked to the other side of the bed and saw nothing. I took a deep breath and let out a sigh and heard a pounding on the door.
KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK! “Come on, man! Wake the fuck up already!”
That was my RA, Jason. He single-handedly took down the wall I had subconsciously crafted throughout high school. That all happened within the first few weeks I attended college. I hadn’t intentionally blocked people from getting to know me; it just didn’t really bother me as much as it should have. In high school I was a bit of a loner, but as long as that meant people left me alone, I was okay with that. Once I got to college, though, Jason helped me more than he ever knew. Just by talking to me, inviting me to play sports, going to the campus movies, and introducing me to other people; he had opened a door to a part of me that I never knew existed. I’m quite confident that if Jason wasn’t my RA two semesters ago, I wouldn’t have made it in college past Christmas.
“All right, Jason, gimme a second to wake up, will ya?” I said as I jumped out of the top bunk. Thank goodness I lived on the first floor, because if I heard that from above every morning, I certainly wouldn’t be too happy about it!
“All right, Lil’ Matt, it’s been a second! I’m coming in!” After saying this, he roughly jiggled the doorknob, as if it was going to suddenly be unlocked.
I opened the door to find Jason ‘patiently’ waiting. I’m using the word ‘patiently’ lightly because he was standing there with his arms crossed and tapping his foot. Jason and I are both pretty athletic, but he shows it much more than I do. He actually played sports in high school, whereas I didn’t.
“Was someone up late last night?” Jason questioned.
“Dude!” I chuckled, “You should know. I went to bed and fell asleep when I left your room last night. I had a bit of a weird dream, but hey. It’s Saturday, so there’s no harm in sleeping in!”
“Good luck with that!” I said sarcastically as I took my glasses off and put my contacts in.
“Yeah, yeah, okay. I just didn’t want you to forget about Frisbee!” Since the first weekend I stayed at college and didn’t go home, Jason, myself and several other friends had made it a tradition to play Ultimate Frisbee. For those of you who don’t know, Ultimate is like a mix between soccer and football. Two teams of seven or so players pass a Frisbee around to try to score in the end-zone. There’s a lot of running, like soccer, except you can’t move your feet once you catch the disc.
I really enjoyed Frisbee with these guys. I wasn’t going to forget it any time soon.
“Forget Frisbee?!” I challenged Jason. “Yeah, right... Besides, you owe me one or a few for all the times I’ve had to wake you up to come play! Why do you want to me up so early, Jason? Frisbee doesn’t start until noon!”
“I gotta make sure you’re awake this time, Matt.” He said.
“I only slept through last week because you didn’t wake me after keeping me up all night! That movie marathon was your idea, remember.” So what, maybe I was a little bitter! “Well, since I was so rudely awoken,” I started, abusing the use of sarcasm, “I’m going to take care of something.” I finished with a sly grin and a wink.
He knew what I was trying to avoid saying, so he said, “One of these days I’ll get you to say ‘I’m gonna go jack off’, Matt. Then it won’t be embarrassing!” I rolled my eyes, smiled, and shook my head at him as I closed and locked my door.
I was about to get my laptop out and look up something special, but then remembered the hunk from my dream. I was already hard since it was morning after all, but each thought of him started to push me to my limit. And I hadn’t even touched myself yet. I still wasn’t wearing a shirt, so I just dropped my boxers and laid back down in bed. I grabbed a small bottle of baby oil I kept handy for times like this and squirted a glob in my left hand.
I closed my eyes and thought about the guy in my dream. I grasped my hot, throbbing cock with my left hand as I imagined more of him. I shuddered as the cool oil slicked up and down my shaft.
My right hand carefully caressed my chest, stopping casually to toy with my nipples. My own soft, gentle touch was aided by the fact I could ‘see’ this guy mimicking my own actions. I could see him move from my chest to my balls. I could feel him carefully fondle each individual as if they had to have special attention. I could smell the lavender in the baby oil. Hell, I could hear him softly moaning at the sensual touch. Well, maybe that was me. I was enjoying it too much to care!
The sensory overload had kicked everything into high gear and I threw my head back in anticipation of what was coming. With one last stroke and twist, I felt my balls tighten up against my body and I stretched out my body. A soft whimper escaped my throat as my cock exploded in my hands. The first shots of my smoldering cum arched out of my throbbing cock. I heard them smack against my chest.
I spent the next few minutes catching my breath as the cum cooled against me. I strained to lift my head and see my mess; it was a doozy. A good doozy. A big doozy. What was it about this guy that made me feel like that?
After I cleaned myself up and threw away the evidence, I opened the window to get some fresh air circulating into the room. As I unlocked the door to go wash my hands, Jason was there. In the hall. Waiting. Grinning. I froze as he looked at me. “What?” I said, “Ok, so you know what I did!”
“True,” he said as the grin turned into a smirk, “but I didn’t expect you to miss a spot.” I looked at him, mortified, as I felt blood rush to my face. My cheeks felt like they were in the spotlight as Jason laughed and I practically ran to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw it. A glob of cum right on my left cheek. I quickly washed away the evidence along with my hands and left the bathroom to get ready for Frisbee.
Once we made it to the fields, most of the people were there and ready to play. I had played with some of them before. Most, though, I didn’t recognize. Since it was the beginning of a new school year, though, I wasn’t surprised.
After a few minutes, we decided that team captains would be the two RA’s that showed up, which meant Jason was one of the lucky two. He didn’t seem to mind, but I hated being captain, because it meant I couldn’t be underestimated by someone. I like Frisbee as a sport, but I really liked proving people wrong. People see me, all 5’7”, 130 pounds of me, and don’t think there’s much to me. Jason, on the other hand, was tanned about 6’ tall and 160 pounds. He looked much more like an athlete than I did.
What most people don’t realize is that Ultimate Frisbee is almost perfectly designed for me. I’m generally one of the fastest people, I can change direction on a whim, and I can catch and throw. The only drawback to the game for me is my height, but there’s nothing I can do about that!
I usually get picked in the middle of the pack, but whenever Jason’s picked or picking, he lobbies to get me on his team. It worked that way again this time. Since most people didn’t know who was who, we played shirts against skins. I had silly inhibitions about being skins last year, but now it didn’t really bother me to be either. I knew Jason would have his shirt off before the end of the game anyway, so I wasn’t surprised when he picked our team to be skins.
It was a pretty normal game of Frisbee for Jason and I, as we’ve played on the same team countless times. We know how we like to play and try to include everyone else. When it’s time to score, we find a way. There was one such situation this Saturday, where Jason had the disc on the right side of the field and I was running deep along the left and cutting across. I had already left my defender in the dust, so all I had to do was catch the rapidly sinking disc as it floated in the end-zone. It kept drifting as I kept running, and before I knew it, I had one last chance to score. At this point, everything seemed like it slowed down. I thought I could make out my name and phone number spiraling on the underside of the disc. There wasn’t a defender in sight that could have had an impact on the play, and the only person close was a guy sitting under a tree close by.
When it was first thrown, I didn’t think I had a chance at getting to it. At the last second, I dove and reached out as far as I could. The air rushed through my short hair as the last form of resistance when I grabbed for the disc. The ground was fairly soft, but I was overcome with a sudden pain as I slid a few feet on the ground. I could tell I had caught the disc, but that suddenly didn’t matter to me. Time still felt like it was in slow motion. I could hear people yelling and cheering, but I still couldn’t just jump up and react like everything was normal. In fact, things were far from normal. My head was pounding, and everything was spinning as I rolled over and tossed the disc to the side. I could feel the heat of the end-of-summer Sun beating down on me. I tried to sit up, but my better judgement thought laying down would be a better idea.
I desperately tried to catch my breath as I laid there with my hands up by my head, trying to get a grasp of everything that just happened. I closed my eyes and remembered the disc floating away, the guy sitting by the tree in the distance, myself diving, and the pain. ‘Oh yeah,’ I thought, ‘we had the end-zone with the pine needles.’
Minutes later, I opened my eyes. Actually, it could have been seconds later, I had no real bearing on time at this point. I do know that things were still spinning as I saw Jason and someone else crouching over me. I could hear Jason shouting “Matt! MATT!”, but it was muffled. It sounded as if he was trying to shout through pillow from ten feet away. I finally got my eyes focused a bit when I looked over at the other guy when he sighed and smiled. At that moment, I remembered the weird dream from this morning. Pale skin. Short, dirty blonde hair. Blue eyes. Heartwarming smile. It was him!

Lost in a Dream, Chapter 2
For the life of me, I couldn’t recall what happened after that crazy dive. I woke up sore, but in my own bed. I looked down and could see and feel the scratches from the dive into the pine needles were quite real. I put my glasses and a shirt on, and noticed the clock said 4:22 p.m. I opened my door to go to the bathroom, and I noticed Jason’s door was wide open. I could tell he and someone else were sitting on his futon, and I told him I’d be right there.
When I finished, I walked to the sink to wash my hands and splash some water in my face. I looked at myself in the mirror and couldn’t help but wonder about everything that happened after that catch. How did I get home? Why don’t I remember anything? Who was that guy? Yeah, who was that guy?
When I got to the hallway outside my room and Jason’s room, I closed my door most of the way and walked across the hall to Jason’s room. As I walked in I saw Kelsey and Jason sitting on one end of the futon, so I sat on the other end. Jason smiled, and said, “Hey man, how ya feelin’?”
I smirked a bit as I thought of a way to make light of the situation and decided to ask, “You know how you’re always telling me about all the kinky sex you and Kelsey have?”
The look in Jason’s eyes and the smirk on his face told me he was going to play along. “Go on...” He said, as if I had asked for his permission to continue.
“Well,” I said, hoping to embarrass one or both of them, “You know those scratches she gets you with? That’s all this is like.” I said as I rubbed my shirt. I looked at Kelsey for the first time and she looked to be a mix of furious and embarrassed. I couldn’t contain my smirk anymore, and busted out laughing. “Gee, Kelsey,” I started, “don’t take it so seriously! You know your secrets are safe with me!” I smiled and winked.
“Are you done?” she said, glaring at me. Whoops! Maybe I pushed that one a bit too far... “At least we know that nap did you some good.” She said.
“What do you mean? Was I that bad this afternoon?”
“Bad, no.” Jason paused. “Don’t you remember, Matt?” he said as he looked at me, concerned and a little confused.
I could tell the jovial nature of our conversation had changed. He never called me ‘Matt.’ To me, it was like a parent calling their child by their whole name. That’s how I knew he was serious and quite concerned. Jason’s not the type of person who finds a nickname for everyone. He acted like I was his little brother throughout my first year, and that relationship slowly transformed into the nickname ‘Lil’ Matt.’ He knew how much it meant to me to be a part of something. That’s why he did it.
I shook my head and said, “The last I remember from before my nap was laying down, feeling the rough grass on my back, and the sun beating down on my chest. You and some guy were huddled over me, but that’s all I remember. I don’t remember hitting my head or anything...” I said as I trailed off and tried to explain what I thought.
“After I got over to you, you seemed dazed. You were breathing pretty heavy, so Brayden and I helped you over to the sidelines so you could get some water and sit down.” Jason said, “After that, everybody had decided the game was over, so you, Brayden, and I walked back here.”
“So,” I said, deep in thought, “I was conscious the whole time and talking?”
“Conscious, yes. Talking, not so much. You did a lot of nodding, shrugging, and smiling, but no talking.” He responded, “but after we got back, you said you felt like taking a nap.”
“Okay,” I said, still deep in thought, “only one more question. Who’s Brayden?”
“Oh, just some guy!” Jason said, smirking. “And he told me to give you this,” he continued, handing me a ripped sheet of paper with a phone number. “You should give him a call. He was pretty concerned about you, man.”
Kelsey giggled and added, “He’s a looker, too! If he weren’t more into you than me, I’d ditch Jason and go for him!” Jason pretended to be hurt, but those two could joke about that without causing a rift in their relationship. That was one of my favorite things about them as a couple.
With that, I smiled, walked out, and told them I’d be back later.
I walked back into the room and sat on the bed I used as a couch. It was the end of August and the school year had just barely started. Unfortunately, I had no roommate. Again. I had started the last year with a roommate, but I never got to know him. He practically refused to talk to me and I could never really figure out why. He and I would talk on occasion, but I’ve heard more conversation coming out of a porno. Aside from hardly being able to hold a conversation with him, he rarely stayed the night. When he wasn’t at his girlfriend’s, I always had to hear Stronger by Kanye West as his alarm clock. Which never woke him up. Let’s just say that song now strikes a chord with me that is closely associated with seething anger. Fortunately for me, he failed out after first semester. My only regret was that I didn’t try harder to get him to open up.
This year I was supposed to have a roommate who I was friends with, but he decided he’d rather pursue culinary school. I was happy for him, but also nervous that I’d get some roommate as bad as last year's. Jason had told me that it couldn’t get much worse than him, though. Who knows, maybe I still may get some eye candy!
Since I had no roommate, yet, I arranged my room differently than most. I kept one bed lofted and the other served as a couch. Since I still paid for a double room, I had to keep all of the furniture in the room. Sure, I didn’t need most of it, but I used what I needed to. The only ‘double’ of the furniture I actually used was the bed. Jason always wondered why I never slept on the lower bed, but I never answered. Frankly, I didn’t know why I didn’t.
So I was just sitting there, leaning against the wall and I decided to give Brayden a call.
After a few rings, he picked up. “Hello?” questioned a voice from the other line.
“Hey, man,” I responded, “is this Brayden? This is Matt.”
I could hear a relieved sigh in the background, “Yeah it is. Good to hear from ya Matt, you had me worried there! Feelin’ any better?”
“Loads, Brayden. Thanks for asking.” I said, pausing, “Sorry I wasn’t very talkative earlier. I was pretty out of it. Honestly, I don’t remember anything that happened after that catch. Jason only just told me that we all walked back and that I went and took a nap ...” I said, interrupted by a loud gurgling noise.
“Holy cow! I heard that!” Brayden said, laughing, “Wanna grab a bite to eat over at the commons?”
Did he just ask me out? Maybe I’m just fussing too much. “Yeah man, I’m starving!” I said, in between laughs, “I’m gonna shower first though, wanna meet in the lobby in 20 minutes?”
“Definitely! See ya!” He said, hanging up first.
With that, I went to the bathroom, showered, and got ready to go eat. As I walked by Jason’s door, I mentioned it to him. He jumped up out of the futon and ran into the hall before he asked, “So, it’s a date?”
Jason was the first person I ever came out to. He was the first person I ever trusted enough to come out to. I never wanted to make a big deal out of it and, thankfully, he didn’t either. I only wanted it to be something that was low-profile about me. The last thing I wanted was for someone to like me or hate me just because I was gay. I was grateful that Jason was perfectly understanding and only told his girlfriend, Kelsey. Later, I told both of them that I didn’t care who knew, as long as they didn’t treat me any differently.
As I walked away from Jason, I turned my head, smiled, and winked, saying, “We’ll see, Jason, we’ll see. Later, man!”
When I made it to the lobby, Brayden was standing there, waiting. When he saw me, he started walking my way and smiled. Oh, that smile! As if he wasn’t good-looking enough, that smile was enough to slow time. I could tell he was taller than Jason was. He looked like he was in good shape, too, which was always a plus in my book. Kelsey was right, he was a looker!
When he was within reach, I stuck my hand out, which he graciously accepted and returned the handshake. ‘Soft hands and a firm grip.’ I noted. It was firm but had a gentle nature to it. I caught a whiff of an almost exotic smell as we shook. Was he wearing cologne? Better question: was he trying to impress me? “Good to meet you, Brayden!” I said, “At least this time I’ll remember what we talk about!”
With that, we started chatting as we wandered towards the commons. I learned that he was from the Midwest, too. He had an older sister and a younger brother, whereas I just had an older brother. Before long, we were at the commons and ready to eat. Well, I didn’t know how hungry he was, but I was dying to eat.
Once we got our food, we found a spot and sat down to continue talking. I found out that he was attending school on a swimming scholarship, but was just taking general classes in his freshman year. I also found out that his roommate’s name was Kevin and that they were just randomly assigned to each other. He didn’t know much about him though, but Brayden did say he kept to his books and one-syllable responses when possible. I told him about my first roommate and how he was the same way, minus the books.
We continued talking, and after a while I looked at my phone to catch the time. ‘Woah!’ I thought as the numbers surprised me, ‘7:10?! Time flies!’ We both decided to finish up and head back to the dorms, so we threw away the garbage and left. On the way back, I told him he should really try to get to know his roommate. I had let him know that I never did that my freshman year and things were really awkward and quiet whenever he was around.
“If he refuses to talk,” I said, smiling, “send me a text and come hang out!”
Jason’s door was slightly ajar when I came back. I could tell the lights were off, so he and Kelsey were probably just watching a movie. We had an agreement that if our doors were open at all, we didn’t have to knock to enter. I figured I would just say ‘Hi’ after a few minutes, but as I unlocked my door and opened it, Jason’s door burst open. Suddenly he was leaning against the door frame behind me, smirking. He did that for a few seconds while I turned the lights on and took my shoes off. Then he impatiently said, “So?”
“So what?” I said, returning the smirk.
“Don’t gimme that, Lil’ Matt. Was it a date or not?”
“I suppose you could call it that...” I told him as my heart fluttered a bit. “What are you and Kelsey watching?” I said, quickly avoiding the conversation.
I’m sure he knew my intention to change the subject, but he was a good enough friend not to push the subject. “Kel left for a girls night out, so I’m all alone trying to figure out what to watch!” Jason said, wandering back to his room.
“Jase!” I said, trying to get his attention. I held out the first season of How I Met Your Mother and told him he was welcome to join me. That was one of those shows I could watch repeats of whenever and still get a good laugh in. In fact, I’m pretty sure that’s what we watched when we hung out for the first time.
We had gotten through a couple of episodes when I got a text from Brayden. I must have smiled when I read the name, because Jason looked at me and asked, “Is it him?”
I simply nodded and asked, “How’d ya guess?”
Jason laughed, and simply said, “Easy. You lit up like a light bulb when you looked at your phone, and it wasn’t from the light on the screen.” I smiled at Jason and looked at Brayden’s text.
“well, i dunno if that makes it better or worse, but at least i tried”
My smile quickly changed into an annoyed frown as I rolled my eyes at the thought of Kevin. ‘Wonder what his deal is.’ I thought as I sent the following: “Come on down, man. That’s enough punishment for the day!” Yes, I do use capital letters and punctuation in my texts. Force of habit!
Soon enough, Brayden was knocking on my door. My smile returned as he came in and sat in between Jason and me on the couch-bed. “Nice set-up!” Brayden said, looking around.
“Thanks,” I said happily, “that’s what happens when you don’t have a roommate!”
I don’t know if Brayden had seen How I Met Your Mother before, but he was laughing along with us as the episodes continued on. Soon enough, midnight rolled around and Jason had to leave to do some of his RA duties. Brayden got up at the same time and said he didn’t have his keys, so I said bye to them both and got up to get ready for bed.
As I laid in bed, I couldn’t help but think of Brayden. If I had a favorite feature, his smile might just be it. I loved the way it made my heart flutter. It seemed so smooth. So natural to him. My mind wandered to his intoxicating cologne, and I closed my eyes to imagine him up close and personal. My hands started traveling around my body; my left stopping at my crotch and my right at my chest.
I hadn’t even realized just how horny he made me tonight until my eyes had shut thinking of him. I could still smell his cologne lingering in my nostrils as my imagination started to work. I could feel the soft touch of his hands against my chest. I could see the way he smiled when he saw what he did to me. Just like this morning, I imagined Brayden touching me in all the right ways. And it was working. My breathing had become rather erratic as my thoughts became rather erotic.
I hadn’t even bothered with lube this time; the thought of Brayden had me plenty lubed from my own pre-cum. The heat of the friction of the frantic jack-off session combined with the way the air was licking at the bare juice was driving me wild. The sound of my hand making slick squishing sounds was the final straw. My eyes and mouth burst open as I audibly gasped at the ferocity of the coming explosion. The orgasm raged through my body as I ejaculated straight into the air.
I could feel the semen cooling against my skin, but I was too tired to move anymore. I fell asleep with a fresh load splattered against my stomach. Thanks, Brayden!

Re: Lost in a Dream
Nice chapter, Justanothershyguy. I think I need to shorten that a bit, hope you don't mind, JASG.....lol Matt must be psychic or something, first laying in bed with a hunk (which was a dream), then actually meeting the hunk who turns out to be Brayden. This is going to be very interesting.....

Thanks Craiger! Everyone can call me Matt and it'll seem like this were a true story! (I wish!)

Lost in a Dream, Chapter 3
Sunday morning definitely came fast enough. Or, at least, I thought it was morning based on the light that peered through the window. The bedside clock wasn’t helping me figure the truth, though, as it was flashing 12:00 again.
I started to get down when I realized something was off. Way off. That wasn’t my bed. I looked around, and nothing in this room looked familiar to me. This isn’t even my room! I looked down and thought, ‘At least I’m decent...’ Almost immediately after that thought, I scrunched my forehead in confusion as I observed, ‘Wait. I don’t own a pair of gold basketball shorts... OR this shirt! What is going on?’
I heard the door open, but by the time I looked, all I saw was an arm closing it. I immediately tried to pursue this person. When I got to the door, I looked up and down the hall and saw nothing. I didn’t hear any other doors open or close in that time, so this person must be crazy fast and quiet. That’s when I looked at the door across from me. It had a lot of name tags on it and a sign that read, “Resident Assistant.” Lukas.
I looked back to the door of the room I was in, and only saw one name. ‘Evan, room 244.’ I took note as I tried to figure out what was going on. That’s when Lukas’s door opened and I just glimpsed the outline of someone who I assumed was Lukas. He looked my way and said, “Good morning, Evan!”
“Yeah, and that’s when I woke up.” I said to Jason as we sat on my couch. I told him last night that I was going to leave my door unlocked if he wanted to check on me. I knew he was concerned about yesterday, but I wasn’t going to argue because I wouldn’t win. At the point of my dream where Lukas’ door opened, Jason had come into my room, saw me squirming in bed and said, “Good morning, Lil’ Matt!” He told me that when he said that, I opened my eyes and looked at him like he was a ghost.
He knew I was freaked out by the whole dream, so he tried to make me smile. Or laugh. Something. “Man, it smells kinda funky in here, don’t ya think?” That son of a gun! He wasn’t trying to make me laugh, he was trying to embarrass me! Let’s see if I can turn that back on him...
“Yeah, it does a little bit. What exactly did you think I was going to do after a date with a hot guy?”
“Jesus!” He exclaimed, “I wasn’t expecting you to fall in love with him so soon!” Crap! He flipped that quick. Hmm.
“It’s not love, yet...” I said as I trailed off. “That was lust. Pure and simple lust. I imagined he was right there with me... I could smell the cologne he was wearing... I could see his --”
“OKAY!” He shouted and laughed as he shook his head. I win! “So. The dream.”
“Do you know any RA’s named Lukas?” I asked him as I pondered.
“No,” he said after a pause, “but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any. It’s still quite early in the year. Did you happen to get a look at him?”
I shook my head, “Nope, all I could see was a dark outline. I don’t even know whether or not it was him.”
“Interesting,” he said, deep in thought, “I say we don’t put too much stock in it right now. Besides, it’s not like you’re psychic or anything!”
I looked at him and laughed, “Yeah, I know, right?” He always had a way to make light of a situation. Every single time. It wasn’t just around me, though. It was with everyone, so it just came natural to him.
Sunday morning was pretty normal after that. I went to the bathroom to shower, shave and put my contacts in. I didn’t have to shave every day, but I couldn’t grow enough scruff to wait a week, either. As I walked back to my room, Kelsey and Jason were there. ‘Crap!’ I thought. “If you guys can wait a minute or two, I’ll show you how fast I can get dressed and look good! Time it!”
‘Quick!’ I thought as I scrambled to get dressed. It was just for church, so I had to look nice. I wanted to look nice. A pair of khaki’s and a button-up shirt was easy enough!
I opened the door and I heard Jason say something from the end of the hallway. I couldn’t understand it, so I jogged to catch up to them and said, “What?”
“I saaaaaid,” He exaggerated, “‘That was more than two minutes, so we started walking!’” He smirked as he finished this, so I punched him on the shoulder.
“Fair enough!” I said as we left the dorm. On Sundays, Jason, Kelsey and I went to church. I wasn’t as religious as they were, but I knew about the Bible and I always felt better about myself after going to church. Thankfully there was one near campus within walking distance! Even better yet, that church had a service at 11:00, so we could sleep in a little bit.
After we got back to the dorm, I texted Brayden that Jason, Kelsey and I were going to go to get Chinese and he was welcome to join us. As we walked up to our rooms, I got a response from Brayden: “sounds good, i’ll be right down”
“Damn! You were right, Jason. You get to pick the next movie we see.” Kelsey had said as we turned into our separate rooms.
“Wait, what?” I turned as I realized that meant me.
Kelsey and Jason both laughed when Kelsey said, “Jason told me that your face lights up when you get a text from Brayden, and I didn’t believe it!” She said and paused, “So, he told me to watch for it and be amazed. It did, and I am!”
Jason and I both left our doors open, as we had become really good friends. I was much more reserved in the past. Now, I could change (to a certain degree) without letting it bother me. I searched for a shirt when Brayden knocked on the open door and said, “Hurry up, I’m starving!” As I turned around to say something, I could have sworn his mouth was ajar as I pulled a shirt over my head.
I greeted him and smiled, “I’m glad you wanted to come, Brayden! Have you ever had the Chinese here?”
“I haven’t had it ever.” He said as I looked at him, aghast. “But, there’s a reason for that. My childhood babysitter would make ‘Chinese’ and, for the longest time, it was the worst thing I had ever eaten.”
“I’m glad you’re willing to try, I’m sure that wasn’t a fair representation of true Chinese food!” I said, smiling. “Do you like chicken?” I asked, and he nodded, so I replied, “Good. Then you can at least have something!”
As we left my room, Jason and Kelsey were doing the same. Jason looked at Brayden and said, “Seriously though, you’ve never had Chinese?” I had wondered if Jason had heard him. I think Jase would eat Chinese for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if he had the money and the option! Brayden simply shook his head in response.
Lunch at the Chinese restaurant was good. Brayden tried the sweet and sour chicken with a bed of rice and some kind of fried meat on a stick. He said that tasted like chicken, but it looked like a fried rat. We all talked casually the whole time, which I was surprised with. I half expected Kelsey and Jason to be quizzing him on his own life, but apparently they were saving that for another time.
The worst part about Sunday afternoons was the realization that school was still important. I suggested, “Maybe you should do some homework ... Maybe it will give Kevin a chance to see you’re a little like him!”
Brayden laughed as he shook his head, started to walk away, and said, “Who knows ... but I doubt it!”
A couple hours had passed and I was in need of a break. I texted Brayden to ask how it was going. I got up and used the bathroom, and was talking to Jason for a minute when I got a response: “ugh. not helping. i asked what he was studying and he told me to ‘fuck off, asshole’.”
Jason saw my smile fade as I read and asked, “What’s wrong?”
I knew there was no lying at this point, so I said, “Brayden’s roommate. I’m gonna go talk to them.”
Jason knew there was nothing he could do to stop me from confronting Kevin, so he said, “All right then, I’ll go ‘talk’ with Ryan.” Ryan was the RA on Brayden’s floor and he and Jason got along well. I figured he’d just be listening from Ryan’s room, but that was up to him.
When we got up to Brayden’s room, I took a deep breath to regain my composure. The door was mostly open, surprisingly, so I knocked, smiled, and said, “Hey Brayden!” He just half smiled and looked at me when Kevin muttered something to himself. I chose to ignore whatever that was, so I asked Brayden how the studying was going. Kevin answered for him, saying angrily “It would probably help him if you weren’t here, asshole.”
“What?” I said, before I finally got a good look at Kevin. When Brayden had mentioned he kept to his books, I expected him to be my size. I was wrong. I was so wrong. This guy was easily 6’4” and 200 pounds.
Kevin looked at me, glaring and “I said, asshole, that he would get more studying done if you weren’t here.”
I was opening my mouth to say something when Brayden spoke up. “What the fuck is your problem man? Everyone you’ve ever seen walk into this room is an ‘asshole’ whether you know them or not. What the fuck is up with that?” I looked at Brayden, then to Kevin to see his reaction.
But he never said anything. It looked like his mind was a ticking time bomb, so I said, “If you had even attempted to get to know Brayden, you’d have learned quickly that he has a heart of gold. But, apparently, something inside you has told you that no one deserves a chance. Everyone’s an asshole to you. And that’s wrong. Brayden is NOT an asshole. He doesn’t even deserve to be in the same sentence as the word ‘asshole’.”
There were a lot of things going through my head. Things I wanted to say and things I wanted to do. But I didn’t. Then Kevin dropped a bomb on me.
He glared at me and sneered, “What are you? A faggot?”
A thousand things came to mind at once as a way to respond. I could have ignored him and walked away, but I didn’t. I drew a quick breath and exhaled softly. “Yeah, I am. And you know what else? I’m a fucking person. I give other people chances to get to know me and they return those chances. I’m not going to grow old without friends and loved ones. But if you keep this fucking attitude up, you will. Is that what you want?” I gave him a second to respond as I returned his glare, but only silence followed. Nothing from Brayden. Nothing from Kevin. Sheer awkward silence.
I didn’t know what to think as I walked away, but I stopped by Ryan’s room to have him check on Brayden and Kevin from time to time. Ryan was pretty shocked by the whole thing, but nodded in agreement. Jason, on the other hand, was grinning from ear to ear. As we walked away, I looked at him and said, “What?”
“That was awesome! I’ve never heard you say ‘fuck’ before, but you dropped two on him!” He always found a way to make me laugh!
It was about dinner time when Jason told me he was going to buy pizza for me, Kelsey, and himself. He was giving me the hero treatment, and neither he nor Kelsey would have any arguments about it. I hadn’t heard from Brayden all afternoon, so I decided to invite him for a slice or two. Jason always orders for leftovers, so I knew there’d be enough.
At about 9:00, I got a text while we were all watching a movie. I didn’t look at it right away, but I wasn’t going to ignore it. Kelsey looked at me and said, “Aren’t you going to look and see who it is?”
I just smiled at her, saying, “Jeez, give me a chance, woman!” I laughed and saw the text was from Brayden: “sorry, i went for a swim and a long walk and forgot my keys. can u let me in?”
“I’ll be right back, Brayden forgot his keys needs someone to let him in.” I said as left to let him in.
He weakly smiled as I opened the door and beckoned him to follow. I usually don’t shut the door all the way when I’m awake, but I did this time. Not for my sake, but for Brayden’s.
He stood there like he was lost, so I told him to have a seat so we could talk. I was about ready to ask if he was okay when he looked down at his feet and said, “I’m sorry for not saying anything all afternoon. I don’t know what to say.”
“Brayden,” I said, trying to get him to look me in the eyes, “I can’t say I know how you’re feeling, because I don’t. But you do need to know that I meant every word I said to Kevin.” He looked up and matched my eye contact as I continued, “You’re not an asshole in any way possible. You’ve got a heart of gold and I’ve known that since I saw you crouching over me yesterday.”
At that point, I had nothing else to say, and he didn’t need to say anything. He pulled me up out of the chair and hugged me like he was holding on for his life. I could feel the warmth in from his body. It was a strong hug. But a gentle hug. It was full of tenderness and caring. When he finally let go, he stayed close as he looked me in the eyes. His bright blue eyes sparkled and were moist from all the emotion. That’s all I could saw until he pulled me closer, closed his eyes, and softly kissed me on the lips. I was shocked, at first, but gladly returned the kiss. My first kiss. People often describe a kiss as ‘electrifying,’ but that wasn’t right. Sure, it shocked me, but not in that way. It was exhilarating. It was pure happiness pouring into my body. It was the way his soft, warm lips were gently pressed against mine.
After we separated, I didn’t know what to do. My heart pounded, as if it were trying to show its true nature to Brayden. I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came. I wanted to say something, but all that emotion couldn’t be explained easily.
He stared at me for a few seconds, but he didn’t have anything to say either. He almost looked hurt as he started to get up. I was still dumbfounded, so I grabbed his arm gently and said, “Wait!” I could feel the strength in his arm as he stopped and looked me in the eyes. “Stay?” I gently let my hand fall down the length of his forearm and stopped at his hand. “Please?” I peered deep into his eyes. His soul. I wanted him to know exactly how serious I was.
He smiled as he sat down. His smile warmed my heart. It sent a single shiver down my spine. A good shiver. He held me close to him as we slowly laid down on the bed. Everything about that hug had felt so right. Like we were meant to hold each other close and safe. Like we were meant to be. “I hope you never let me go.” I said as I held him close.
I started to drift off, comforted by the warmth of this incredible man laying next to me. His warmth holding me tight like a blanket. The last words I remember him saying were, “I hope I never have to, Matt.”

Re: Lost in a Dream
I love it. Romance! How fortunate Matt is to have Jason and Kelsey and now he can add Brayden. It also took some balls to confront Kevin. Much like the old melodramas Kevin is the dastardly evil villain. I guess that places Matt as the hero protecting his love, Brayden. I am worrying about all these mysterious and psychic like dreams Matt is having. However, it adds a bit of spice to the pie.....lol

If you're worried about the dreams now, just wait until later! (Insert maniacal laugh here)

Re: Lost in a Dream
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 4
Monday mornings always sucked. It meant I couldn’t sleep in and a whole week of classes. This Monday was different, though. I couldn’t help but smile as Brayden had an arm draped across my chest. It felt like I had known him for ages, when in reality I’d only known him for mere days. My entire feeling toward life was ... different. I felt happy. Comfortable. It felt like this is how things were meant to be. I had no desire to move, but it was already almost 8 and I had Spanish at 9. Brayden must be a pretty heavy sleeper, because he didn’t move much after I rolled out of bed. I grabbed my bathroom kit and a towel and headed off to start the usual morning ritual.
I lightly shook Brayden when I got back to my room because I wasn’t sure when he had to be up. “Brayden, it’s almost 8:30. I’ve got class at nine, so I’m gonna grab a bite to eat so I can get going soon.” His gorgeous blue eyes slowly opened and a he smiled; I could get used to that every morning! “You can stay as long as you want, just shut the lights off and close the door when you leave!” I said, grabbing my backpack.
“Okay!” He said, excited, “I probably won’t stay long, though. I usually swim in the mornings to wake myself up! Oh, and, I need to see if Kevin is around so I can get my keys.” It sounded like the mere mention of ‘Kevin’ was enough to put him on edge. It would upset me too if I had to live with him.
“Don’t worry about him! If he can’t see you for who you are, then that’s his problem.” I said, trying to comfort him. I realized Jason was probably waiting for me since we had class in the same building, so I leaned forward and gave Brayden a peck on the cheek. “See ya later, Brayden!” I said as I opened the door and walked out. Just as I expected, Jason was waiting for me.
“Damn!” He said, shielding his eyes, “If I would have known you’d be glowing this bright this morning, I’d have worn sunglasses!”
I just laughed as we started to walk and said, “Wow! Is it really that obvious?”
“No,” he said, chuckling, “it just looks like you just got laid last night.”
“Okay, good!” I said as I grinned. If he wanted to know anything about, he was going to have to work for it.
“Don’t worry, though,” he said, turning his head to me, “I already know. You two would make a good couple!”
My heart fluttered at that thought. Was that what it was? Last night was awesome! Just being around Brayden was awesome. The gentle breeze added to my inner calmness as we walked to class. I simply smiled and looked at Jason, “I think I’d like that, Jase, but, is it all happening too fast?”
“If there was one way to describe you, Lil’ Matt, it’d be that you’re fast. But,” he said, pausing, “you’ve gotta realize that it doesn’t always have to matter. If Brayden wasn’t ready, you probably wouldn’t have been that happy this morning!”
I just smiled as I reached my classroom, telling Jason that I’d see him later. I walked in and looked for a seat and I only saw one open spot. I froze as I saw who I’d have to sit next to. I can’t believe I didn’t remember him from the first week of school! Kevin was a big guy, after all.
I had to tell myself to just smile and ignore him, he wasn’t going to ruin my day. Thank God I had the same professor as last year, she was a riot! I sat down and said, “Hola!” to Kevin as I tried to be sociable. I wasn’t sure what he’d say if he’d even say anything.
And then, he surprised me. He said, “Hey.” No asshole. No resentful sigh beforehand. ‘Hey.’
Class went on as usual, but it was review of last year. You could call this an intermediate level of Spanish, but there were a few freshmen who tested into this class.
As I was packing my things after class, Kevin surprised me again. “Uhh, sorry, but what’s your name again?”
“Matt.” I said, extending my hand out of politeness. He accepted and returned the handshake, saying, “Kevin. I’m sorry we got off on the wrong foot yesterday.” Pause. “I was the asshole.”
‘Yeah, you were!’ I thought. Was this him turning a new leaf? “I appreciate the apology, Kevin, but I think there’s someone who deserves one more than I do.”
He nodded in agreement as we walked out of the classroom when he stopped suddenly, asking, “Have you seen him lately?”
I didn’t want him to go through me to talk to Brayden, so I lied. So sue me. “No, I haven’t.”
“Oh,” he said, sounding almost disappointed, “well, if you do, can you tell him Ryan has his keys? He forgot them in the room last night and wasn’t there when I woke up this morning.”
“Yeah,” I said pulling out my phone, “I’ll send him a text right now. See ya later, Kevin.” I said as I turned around and walked the other way. I didn’t know if he was going back to the dorm or not, but I decided that I’d take a longer route home.
When I got back to my room, I was disappointed to see Brayden had left after all. I wasn’t surprised, of course, because he had said he liked to swim in the mornings. I decided now would be a good time to text him, since I had feigned that action earlier. It read, “Turns out Kevin’s in my Spanish class. Did you get your keys?”
Since it was just about noon and I didn’t have class again until 1:00, I was about ready to grab lunch at the commons when Brayden texted me back. “just finished laps and yes i got my keys from ryan. i’m starving and on my way to the commons- wanna meet there?”
I smiled and replied that I’d be there in ten minutes. Jason was on his way back when I was walking there, and I told him he was welcome to join us. “Sorry bud,” he said, “already ate!”
After I made it to the commons and through the line, I found Brayden and he was smiling, per usual. We chatted casually for a while. Eventually, he asked, “So, Kevin’s seriously in your Spanish class?”
I nodded and laughed, “Yeah man, and there was only one spot when I got there. Next to him.” His eyes widened showing his shock.
“So, you just said, ‘Hola!’ and he responded? And didn’t just respond with ‘asshole’ or anything like that?” I just nodded in confirmation. Then, he asked, “Do you think you got through to him yesterday?”
“I hope so, Brayden. Like I said, everybody deserves a chance or two.”
“I don’t know how you think like that. Especially with Kevin. He was really a dick to everyone he met here.”
“Last year, the first night I was here, Jason tried his absolute hardest to crack my shell. I didn’t really care if anyone knew me because, to me, school was about grades. We talked for a while the first evening I was there, but not about anything in particular. As he left that first night, he told me, ‘Matt, I don’t believe for a minute that people create walls to hide from something. They do it to see who cares enough to break the wall down.’” I stared off into the distance as I thought of a way to explain the rest of the story.
“After he left, I couldn’t sleep. My mind kept trying to come up with an excuse, but I honestly couldn’t think of a good one. I didn’t know why I was hiding or what I was hiding from, but I knew that I didn’t like it. So, I came to the conclusion that he was right. I started to open my door more and he kept hammering away at the wall I had created. By the end of the next weekend, I felt like a new person and I was glad to have Jason as a friend.” I explained.
“And that’s when I decided that since Jason could give me a chance, I could give anyone else a chance. I never really had to until I met Kevin, but there was something he’s hiding and I want him to know that there are people that will give him that chance.”
“Was?” Brayden said, catching the subtle hint I dropped.
I smiled as I said, “I found the crack in Kevin’s wall. He actually seemed concerned when he asked if I had seen you yet. You should go back to your room when you’re done with class. I think you’ll be surprised!” I said as I stopped to smile, then continued, “Oh, and, I lied and said I hadn’t seen you yet, so he’ll still probably be concerned!” I said as my smile grew.
“You lied? You?!” Brayden asked, stunned.
“Only so he would talk to you with the same concern he used with me. He apologized, you know?” I said, smiling. I looked up at the clock on the wall, and said, “Oh, crap! Class in 5 minutes!” I told Brayden I’d see him later and went to get a to-go box. With all the talking I hadn’t managed to eat very much. Oh well!
The rest of Monday afternoon was uneventful. Brayden had been at class all afternoon, and last I had heard, he was still planning on stopping by to see Kevin.
That is, Monday was uneventful until Kelsey came by, sat on my couch and said with a smile, “All right, spill!” I looked at her and pretended to be confused, but she just returned my look with a glare.
“Fine, fine,” I said as I laughed, “Jason won’t be back for another 20 minutes and I convinced him to lock his door, for once!” I said as I tried to avoid what I thought she meant.
“I already knew that, Lil’ Matt. Now, about Brayden, you, and last night. Spill!” She said forcefully.
How did she know already? Oh, yeah. Jason! I’ll get him back one of these times. “Okay,” I said as I paused for effect, “after I let him in last night, he came back here and apologized for not talking to me after I chewed out Kevin. I just told him he had nothing to be sorry for!”
“Well, that’s not what I meant...” She started, “I heard about that, too, though! Jason told me you had a nice use of a certain vocabulary word!” She said, smiling, “That can’t be all that happened, though. Jason said you were ‘glowing like a second sun’ when you left to go to class this morning. Spill!”
“I learned a bit about him, that’s all!” I said as I tried to make her beg.
It was working, too! “Like what?” She said impatiently.
I smiled and looked away so she couldn’t read me, “He’s a good hugger.”
“Hugging is always nice, but there’s more. Spill!”
I looked back at her and rolled my eyes, “Say ‘please’ and I’ll spill all the beans.”
“Fine, please spill!” She said as she exaggerated the ‘please’.
“After the hug, he kissed me. And I kissed him back. It was electric.” There I go, using that cliché. It was just the quickest way to describe it! “Then, I thought he was going to leave, so I begged him to stay. And he did.” I said as I tried to hide my excitement.
I could tell Kelsey was getting emotional, because her eyes were giving me the same look as Brayden’s after our hug. At that point, she pulled me in for a hug and said, “I’m so happy for you Lil’ Matt. Jase and I have seen the way you are when you’re around him, and we couldn’t be more happy for you.” Kelsey started to get up when she got a text from Jason. She read it and said to me, “Cool! Jason’s almost here with Brayden.”
I just looked at her and stupidly said, “What?!”
All she said as she walked out to meet Jason was, “Jase knows what you told me last year, and he’s quite grateful for that!”
I thought back to when those two were just dating and the night after I found out Jason was serious about his feelings for Kelsey. I had told Jason one afternoon that I was going to be a little late to dinner, and that I was bringing a friend. I kind of lied though, because I didn’t bring a friend for my sake; I was bringing Kelsey for Jase. As we walked over there, all I said to Kelsey was, ‘I don’t know how you feel about Jason, Kelsey, but I know how he feels about you. Whatever you do, don’t break his heart. He’s the best friend I’ve ever had and he’s worth every minute of your time.’I couldn’t stand to see Jason upset. After I got to dinner with Kelsey, I just left and told them to have a good time. I don’t know exactly what happened after that, but obviously they’re still together. I don’t take any credit for their relationship because he met her without me, but I like to think I accelerated it!
With that, Jason lightly pushed Brayden into my room and grabbed the doorknob and pulled the door shut. Jase has never had a knack for subtlety, that’s for sure!
I looked Brayden right in his gorgeous blue eyes and said, “Whatever he said to you,” I started, “know that Jase has always been like a brother to me. He’s a softy at heart, I promise!”
Brayden looked at me in a confused manner, and said, “How do you know what he said to me?”
I smiled gently, “Because I said the same thing to Kelsey last year before they were a couple!”
“You are incredible, Matt,” he said, “and I’ve had a crush on you since I saw you playing Frisbee.”
I pulled Brayden to the couch and we both sat down and leaned back against the wall. “Good,” I continued, smiling, “Because I really like you, Brayden. Can I ask you a personal question?”
He nodded, so I continued as I looked him in the eyes. “Are you gay?” After I said this, he shifted around uncomfortably, digging for an answer. “You don’t have to worry about what I think, Brayden. You don’t even have to worry about what your friends think. If they can’t accept you for who you are, then that’s their problem, not yours.”
He nodded again in agreement, and softly said, “Yeah, I am.”
“Say it, Brayden. Believe me when I say it helps. I’m gay and I’m proud that I know who I am.” I wanted to build him up, and he hadn’t actually heard me admit that either.
“Matt,” he said as he paused to take a deep breath, “I’m gay too. And I don’t just have a crush on you anymore. I like you a lot.” I could see he had tears in his eyes, but he also smiled. I smiled along with him as my own tears of joy welled up in my eyes.
I pulled him into a hug, resting my chin on his shoulder as I squeezed tight. Since he was a couple inches taller, I had to be on my tippy-toes to do that, but it was worth it! I softly said, “Now the hard part’s done. So, what do you think about us?” I said as the hug ended and he looked me in the eyes.
“Like I said last night, Matt,” he started, “I hope I never have to let you go.”
I smiled, remembering last night and said, “Good! Now come here, I want to kiss my new boyfriend!” That sounded good to say. My boyfriend!
I’d be lying if I said that kiss was like last nights’ kiss. It wasn’t. Not by a long shot. When I thought that kiss was electric, it was more like comparing a spark to a lightning bolt. This kiss was truly electric.
For the first time ever, I explored another man’s mouth with just my tongue. I ran my tongue across the smoothness of his teeth, explored the textured surface of his writhing tongue, the softness of the insides of his cheeks. And my tongue seemed to invite his to do the same. This man … my boyfriend … was inside of me and I was inside of him, exploring each other in ways that before now I couldn't even imagine.
I didn't know if what I was doing was right or wrong, but my tongue wanted to explore as deeply as it could. And I couldn't seem to find the will to stop it. It felt right. It felt good.
By the way Brayden responded in kind again, I was pretty sure I was doing okay. But whatever doubts I had were shattered when through our clothing he pressed his hard penis against mine. As our tongues probed deeper still, our throbbing penis began their own exploration. Rubbing. Thrusting. Grinding. Pulsing. Throbbing. My mind reeled with the overwhelming feelings coursing through me. All I knew was that I never wanted this to end.
I don’t know how long our tongues wrestled as our bodies lay entwined together, but when we were done, we were both all smiles.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him to the door and said, “Come on! It’s my turn for show and tell with Jason and Kelsey”
I knocked on Jason’s door, and he invited us in. Brayden was a couple feet behind me, so I started, “Jason, Kelsey,” I started as I smiled to my friends, “I’d like to introduce you to my boyfriend, Brayden!”
Kelsey practically squealed when she said, “YES!” and ran over to me. She gave me a quick hug and said, “I’m so happy for you!” After she let go of me, she hugged Brayden with the same ferocity as she had hugged me.
Jason certainly didn’t squeal like Kelsey did, but he was beaming when he got a hold of me. “Good for you, Matt,” he said, smiling, “I can tell he really does get you going!” Jason said as he nodded towards my crotch. Holy crap! I didn’t even notice the wet spot before! I thought I would be embarrassed, but I wasn’t. I looked up at Jason and winked.
“So, Brayden...” Kelsey trailed off with every intention to finish the sentence, but Brayden finished it for her.
“Yeah, I’m gay too!” Brayden said. I could tell he was feeling better about it by the minute, and Kelsey and Jason were very willing to accept him as a part of our strange family.
As we all calmed down from the excitement, Jason’s stomach told us exactly how hungry he was. We all decided on pizza, so Jason called in and we waited. When it came, we had How I Met Your Mother playing in the background. Soon enough, we were all satisfied and wanted to relax for a movie. I left to use the bathroom as Jason picked out a movie on Netflix.
When I got back, Brayden and Kelsey were on opposite ends of the futon and Jason was cuddling with Brayden. Everyone started laughing when I walked in and said, “Not tonight, Jase. He’s mine!” He quickly scooted over to Kelsey and I sat down and rested my head on Brayden’s chest. I pulled my feet off the floor so I could lie there comfortably with his arm around my shoulder.
To be honest, I have no idea what movie we watched. I’m sure I fell asleep when my feet left the floor. I barely woke up when Brayden got up to get us to my room. He could see that, and just picked me and carried me off to my room and bed. When he set me down on the bed, I took my shirt, shorts and socks off. It suddenly seemed really hot in there! He did the same and I got a good look at his chest for the first time. Damn! He’s got the perfect swimmers build!
He joined me on the bed and I cuddled into him. “You know, Brayden,” I said as was comforted by his body heat, “Jase was right, you really got me going earlier.” I said as a sly grin crept across my face. “And I’m not so tired anymore ...” I finished as I dropped a not-so-subtle hint to my new boyfriend.
“Good!” He exclaimed as he looked me in the eyes, “I’m not tired either! Wanna jack off?”
My sly grin turned into a big smile as he caught on, “Heck yes!”
Since I was already down to my boxers, there wasn’t much left for Brayden to imagine. The tent grew quickly as I scanned my boyfriend’s hot body. When I saw his eyes, I saw he was transfixed on the hidden treasure in my boxers. I lowered those without taking my eyes off of Brayden, and my cock got caught on the elastic. As I pulled them down towards my knees, the elastic let my cock go and it smacked against my stomach. As it hit, I felt a cool splash of pre-cum near where the head hit.
As I felt all of that, Brayden lowered his boxer briefs. They were jam-packed full of what I hoped would be my new favorite toy, and my excitement grew with each new inch of skin. When all was revealed, my left hand began to stroke my rock hard cock with just the lube I produce for myself.
Somehow, I broke my gaze from Brayden’s show and saw his eyes were still glued on my cock. I looked back down at his crotch and saw his right hand slowly stroke his manhood. He was so gentle. So passionate. He snapped me out of my reverie when he said, “This is a crazy thought, but do you always jack off left-handed?”
“Yeah!” I said excitedly.
“Cool. I want to try something.” He said as he got up and walked around to my left side. His cock bounced with each step he took. I was still transfixed until he sat down next to me and said, “Lift your elbow.”
I did, so he hooked his right arm with my left. He looked back down at my crotch and said, “Okay, continue!”
I slowly began to jack off again, now matched in rhythm with Brayden. It was as if our elbows were glued together. It was a bond I’d never experienced before. We were connected by the rhythm of our passionate self-love scene. But it wasn’t just self-love. We did it for each other as much as ourselves.
Each stroke brought me closer to the edge. I could tell it had the same effect on Brayden as he said, “Tell me when you’re close and we’ll switch and finish each other off!”
I didn’t respond. My brain was too focused on the task at hand. In my hand. My heart pounded faster and faster until I had reached the point of no return. “I’m close!” I said excitedly. We unhooked our arms and I gasped as he grasped my cock. His hand was hot compared to the chill of my pre-cum. As I grabbed his cock, I heard him exhale sharply. I felt the cool slick of his natural lube as I matched his new, frantic pace. I felt his body tense up against mine as his cock began to throb. I sucked in one last breath as I watched him cum, and my own body tensed in reaction. The cum exploded out of my cock as his hand continued to stroke. I felt like I was in a constant state of orgasm until he finally released me when we were finished.
I was still trying to catch my breath when he said, “I’m glad you like it,” he said as he nodded down to his cock, “but I would like to get up to get cleaned up!”
I released him as I laughed, “I didn’t even realize I was still holding it! That was amazing!” I told him he could grab any towel and use that to wipe us up. After he was finished, he sat back down next to me and I cuddled back into him.
More specifically, I cuddled into his chest. He looked down at me and said, “I could definitely get used to this every night!” I looked up at him, smiled, and pulled up to give him a kiss goodnight.
It was a good night, indeed!

Re: Lost in a Dream
That was truly awesome, Matt. I have to admit I have a lump in my throat and some moisture in my eyes. Can't understand why!!!!! I'll be waiting to find out how Brayden and Kevin hit it off particularly since he apologized to Matt. There is always something soft within us all, it just depends on how deep it's hidden.

Re: Lost in a Dream
Well, here it is! Chapter 5 is ready! I'm really enjoying writing this, so I don't think you have to worry about me losing interest for a while . But I will say, and I really mean this, THANK YOU VERY MUCH to my commenters. It really means a lot to me to see people are enjoying this. I really encourage others to post or PM, too. Just knowing that others are getting as much out of this as I am is enough to make me want to keep going! Besides, who knows, maybe someone's got some crazy idea about something that could happen!
So, again, without further ado, here's Chapter 5.
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 5
I awoke Tuesday morning to a cold, empty bed. I didn’t have any classes in the mornings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I didn’t have to be up for a while. I put my glasses on and rolled out of bed to see that the clock was flashing 12:00 again. When I got up, I realized that although the room looked familiar, it wasn’t mine. ‘Is this another dream?’ I thought to myself and went to the dresser to put on some clothes. I was cold, so I decided to put on some of this person’s sweatpants and a sweatshirt. The pants were generic, but the sweatshirt read, “Men’s Swim and Dive, 2006.” I wonder if Brayden would know this person?
I thought I might investigate a little bit, so I went towards the door to look in the mirror. Normally, the mirror was on the wall next to the door. I looked around and saw that there wasn’t one in this room, though. It didn’t even look like there was ever one in this room. I decided I’d open the door to figure out where I was, and immediately saw that I was across from Lukas’ room again. I looked out in the hall and there was no one there and no sounds coming from anywhere, so I backed into the hallway and closed the door. I was in Evan’s room again. Room number 244. I heard the alarm going off in Evan’s room, so I ran back in to shut it off. I tripped over my own feet, and face-planted before I could make it to the alarm.
When I came to, I was lying face down on the floor of my own room. Or, at least, I was hoping it was my room. I slowly got up and sat on the low couch-bed and rubbed my eyes. My forehead hurt a little bit, but everything else seemed okay. I put on my glasses and looked at the clock: 9:22. I couldn’t remember if Jason had class this morning, so I decided I’d go over and find out. I put some clothes on and walked over and knocked on his door.
“Unnghh... come in.” Apparently, he didn’t have class and was enjoying his sleep. Whoops!
“It’s just me, don’t worry Jase.” I said as I walked in. When I sat down on his futon, I continued, “I had another weird dream last night.”
He asked how weird, so I told him everything I could remember. He was just sitting there thinking, so I said, “I still don’t know who these two are, but it was definitely the same room as last time. And, since it’s 2009, I think Evan’s a junior or older to have a college sweatshirt from 2006.”
“Or,” Jason started, “he’s got a brother or a friend something who was on the team for that year.”
“Could be...” I said, trailing off in thought. “Brayden’s on the swim team now, I wonder if he knows if there is or was an Evan on the team.”
“It may not hurt to ask,” Jason said, “but--”
“But it might freak him out to explain the dreams.” I said, finishing his statement.
Jason laughed and said, “That too, but I was just going to say, ‘but, it might.’”
“I’ll figure something out.” I said as I got up to leave. “Something doesn’t seem right about the whole thing.”
I wasn’t too excited about either of my classes, so I was just waiting in the hall for my class at 2:00 to start when someone walked by and said, “Hey Evan, did you get a haircut?” I wasn’t sure what to say, so I simply apologized and told them my name was Matt. “Weird!” He said, laughing to himself, “You look a lot like my friend Evan!” He was right, though, that was weird. Hopefully it was just a major coincidence.
I was sitting in my physics class at 2:40, just playing with my phone. I have to admit, the more I wanted the class to end, the longer it seemed to take. This was the last 10 minutes of a two hour block of classes, so I was quite ready to be done. Unfortunately, I had my physics lab for three hours in the evening, so I wasn’t going to be able to spend a lot of time with Brayden today.
As I left class, I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called Jason. I couldn’t remember if he had class, but I figured there was a good chance he didn’t. When he picked up after the third ring, I said, “Jason!”
I was pretty surprised myself when the other end said, “No, but this is his criminology professor. Can I take a message?”
I just laughed and apologized to the man, and said, “Yeah, tell him that it’s time to play detective when he gets back.”
While I was on the phone with Jason’s criminology professor, I had gotten a text from Brayden. I opened it up while I was walking back, and it said, “having a good talk with kev. you should join us when you get back!” I replied by telling him I was on my way now.
When I got up to their room, I could see that they were both in a bright mood. “Hey boys!” I said as I walked in the door. I was immediately greeted with a hug by Brayden. I didn’t return it right away because I didn’t know how Kevin felt about this. He must have saw my concern and said, “Don’t worry, Matt. I know, and I don’t care about that anymore.” After that, I smiled and returned Brayden’s hug.
I had noticed Kevin was wearing a football shirt when I walked in, so I figured he liked sports. Could make for a good conversation, so I just asked, “I’m sure this is a rhetorical question, but do you like sports?”
“Yeah, that’s definitely a rhetorical question,” he said, laughing, “I like most sports, but enjoy playing football the most.”
“I figured,” I laughed, and asked, “does that mean you’re here on scholarship and playing for the school?”
“Yup, I’m not starting, yet, though. I redshirted last year, so I still have four years of eligibility left.”
“Impressive!” I said, “What position?”
“Linebacker. Coaches say I need to bulk up a bit more, though.”
“Bulk up more?! You’re already huge!” I said, shocked. He laughed and nodded, and Brayden laughed too. We continued talking for a while when my phone started ringing. I saw it was Jason, so I just told them I’d see ‘em both later. As I left, I blew a kiss to Brayden. Kevin really didn’t seem to mind, as he just chuckled to himself. I really think he has turned a new leaf!
“Jason! What’s up?” I said as I answered the phone.
“Not much, jerk! Thanks for calling in class.” Jason said, sarcastically, “He was going over attendance and I was in the front row.”
I laughed quite loudly and said, “It’s not my fault you left your phone on!”
“Yeah, yeah, oh well. So, what’s the deal with the detective work? Professor got a real kick out of that, by the way.”
I hung up on him, but only because I was right outside his door. “Uhh, remember my dream?” I asked rhetorically, of course he did. “Some completely random person called me Evan today, and asked if I had gotten a hair cut. Tell me that’s just a coincidence!”
“I’ll admit, that’s pretty wicked strange man. But,” he said, pausing, “it has to be a coincidence.”
I laughed, but then stopped to think. “What if that wasn’t the first crazy dream I’ve had, Jason?” I said, seriously. He just looked at me blankly, so I continued, “Remember when I said I had a weird dream on Saturday?”
“Not really, but continue.”
“Well,” I said, taking a deep breath in pause, “that dream was about Brayden.”
He stared in confusion at me as he said, “You’re shitting me.”
I shook my head and said, “I wasn’t out of it that afternoon because I hit my head or anything like that. I was so deep in thought and shocked that I didn’t know what to say.”
“Ho-ly fuck. You’re, like, psychic or something!”
I looked at him, and just started laughing. “Psychic? You’re crazy! I met Brayden later that day. I still have no clue who Lukas and Evan are. Evan might look like me, but that’s all I’ve got on them.”
“You’re right, I guess,” Jason said and smiled, “but, if anything else comes up on this front, tell me right away. Playing detective is fun! I still think it’s all pretty crazy, though.”
“What’s pretty crazy?” Said a voice from behind me. Brayden!
“Hey babe!” I said, giving him a kiss, “I was just telling Jason that I found out today that I have a doppelgänger.”
“Yeah, some dude walked by me and said, ‘Hey Evan, did you get a haircut?’” I said, pausing, “So, know any Evan’s? Jase doesn’t.”
“I’ve only been here a few weeks,” Brayden reminded us, “so the only people I really know are on the swim team, here in the dorm, or in one of my classes. But no, I don’t know anyone named Evan.”
“Bummer!” I said, “I wanna meet him!”
“Say, that reminds me. I’ve got dinner with a friend from the swim team tonight, so you’re on your own!”
“That’s okay,” I started, “I’ve got my physics lab tonight, so I have to eat early anyway. Which reminds me, I should probably eat something soon!”
The rest of the evening was eventless. My lab was really easy tonight, so we got out about an hour and a half early. I texted Brayden when I got back and said he could come by if he wanted, but I didn’t get a response for a while. He was probably out running or doing something productive, so it really didn’t bother me. I had some homework for tomorrow that I needed to get done yet, so I just decided to work on that.
He (finally) responded around 11:00, telling me that he had gone swimming with his friend and that his phone had died. I replied, saying that I had been productive enough to get my homework done. “I’m just lying in bed watching HIMYM, you can come join if you want!” I said in the last text I sent to him. (HIMYM is short for How I Met Your Mother, by the way.)
I was half asleep waiting for a response when I heard a soft knock at the door. “Come on in,” I said, “I’m just watching TV.” I had figured it was Brayden, but I didn’t know for sure.
“Yeah, I know,” a familiar voice said, “you invited me down and said that already!”
I smiled and sat up as he walked in and gave me a peck on the lips. “So,” I said, “how was swimming?”
“Oh man, I am so out of shape. This season’s gonna kick my ass if I don’t get in shape soon!” He said, acting exhausted.
“Somehow I think you’re exaggerating just a little bit.” I said, laughing, “And who was it you swam with? The same guy you ate dinner with, too?”
“Yeah,” he started, “His name’s Lukas. He said he had to be back to his dorm for his duty shift, though.”
After I heard the name, I tried my hardest to hold the shock in. ‘Is that the Lukas that’s been a part of my dreams?’ I thought. I mustn’t have held the surprise in, though, because Brayden looked at me confused, and said, “Uhh, what’s wrong? Do you know him?”
“No, but the name seems familiar.” I lied. “Isn’t he the campus’ hot shot swimmer?”
“Hot shot? No, I don’t think so. He’s a pretty relaxed guy.” Brayden said.
“Huh,” I said, “oh well, I guess!” ‘I wonder if he thinks I’m being weird about this whole thing. I really hope it doesn’t bother him, because I really do want to tell him. I just don’t want to freak him out. There will be a time when I have to, I just hope he’s okay with all of it when that time comes...’ I thought while staring off.
“Earth to Matt... Hello, Matt, this is Earth. Are you still there?” He said as he waved his hand in front of my face.
“Matt to Earth, we have a signal,” I said, smiling, “Sorry about that, I guess I’m just getting tired. Are you going to stay tonight?” I asked, trying to give him the best puppy dog face that I could muster.
“Aww, how could I resist that face?” He asked, but then answered himself, “But, I’m going to have to tonight. I already told Kevin I’d be back before midnight so I don’t get locked out again and I’m not exactly as tired as you are! Sorry babe!”
“Fine!” I said, trying to change my reaction to a pout. “But you owe me! You gotta stay tomorrow and the next night!”
“Okay, okay!” He said, laughing, “Tomorrow and the next night we’ll cuddle all night long. It’s a date! Or a sleep over, whichever you prefer to call it!” Before he started to get up, he leaned in for a kiss and said, “Good night and sweet dreams, Matt!”
“Good night and sweet dreams to you too, babe!” I said, waving as he left the room. I laid back down on the couch-bed and remembered myself saying a week ago that I wouldn’t get lazy and sleep on this couch every night. It looks like I was going to!
‘Sweet dreams, Matt’ I thought, ‘I really hope they are.’

Re: Lost in a Dream
Wow, Matt, this is getting excitingly eerie. Another couple of pieces to the puzzle have reared their heads what with being called Evan and now knowing that Lukas is probably the strange RA from the dreams. What will this next nights sleep produce? Also, Kevin seems to have dropped his defensive attitude and joined the calmer and less judgmental world. Good for him. It would be funny to learn that he may be gay himself and it was all a defense mechanism. I'm truly enjoying this story, Matt. Thanks.

You know, it's interesting you mention Kevin.. I haven't thought of exactly how to handle his change, but I have a good idea. I just need a 'trigger' event!

Alright, folks, here it is! It was a little bit longer, but I split it up. I've got most of 7 done, but still working on ironing some things out! I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 6
I woke up quite early Wednesday morning. I wasn’t happy about it, at all. But no matter how long I lied there with my eyes closed, I couldn’t get back to sleep. I looked at the clock and saw that horrific 12:00 blinking back at me. Why is it horrific, you ask? Because this dream sequence was really starting to freak me out.
I had the chills and goose bumps when I got up, so I decided to start moving. I realized I was in Evan’s room, again, but there wasn’t anything I could put on over my bare chest. Nothing in either dresser and nothing just thrown on the ground. As I was searching for a sweatshirt or something, I heard a knock at the door. I opened it, but there was no one there. I stepped in the hallway and I noticed there were a lot of doors open around me. In fact, it seemed like they all were open. Just as I was about to walk around and check it out, Lukas’ door opened and a figure stepped out into the hall.
“Good morning, Evan!” Lukas said, pulling me into a hug. ‘Are Evan and Lukas a couple?’ I thought. I didn’t really want to disrupt anything in the dream, so I went along it. “Good morning yourself!”
“Holy cow! You’re freezing!” He said as we were hugging, “Lemme go get you something.” As he turned around and walked away, I got to see what he looked like. He was tanned enough to make it seem like he spent all of his free time outdoors, and he had somewhat medium-length straight brown hair. When he was walking back, I saw that he had blue eyes like Brayden and a killer smile. ‘Whoever Evan is, he’s got good taste!’ I thought. After he handed me the sweatshirt, I saw that it was the same one that I had worn in the last dream.
When I put it over my head and pulled it down, though, Lukas was suddenly gone and his door was shut. Weird. I knocked on his door, but there was no answer. I decided I’d continue to figure out why all the other doors were open, so I walked up and down the hall. Every room had at least one person in it, and some had two or more. Nobody even flinched when I walked by.
When I started walking back to check the other side of the hall, I noticed that it seemed like one door was shut. I casually walked the hall, still unnoticed, and saw the door to room 270 was closed. I put my ear up to the door, and I could hear mumbling. Or something. It wasn’t really mumbling, because I could actually hear them talking. Maybe it was just muffled. I had this weird sinking feeling in my gut, so I decided to pound on the door a few times. There was no answer, but I couldn’t hear any sounds anymore. I decided I had to figure out what was in this room, so I pounded again and said, “RA, open up!” in a loud and stern voice. That was something I’d heard Jason do on occasion.
All of the sudden, the lock on the door clicked and the door swung open. A shadowy figure walked out into the hall and turned around, saying, “Huh. Apparently no RA now.” I figured I might be able to walk in without them noticing me, so I did. I looked around the room, and could see that there were two shadowy figures. Then, I noticed the blood droplets on the floor, and my heart immediately began to pound. I followed the droplets to a body curled up in the corner of the room. I walked over to the body and could hear sniffling and a light cough. That’s when one of the figures said, “Would you just shut the fuck up, faggot?” I crouched down next to the body and took a deep breath in shock. Minus all the blood and welts on his face, he looked like me!
I woke up in a cold sweat. My heart was pounding, even though this wasn’t a dream anymore. I put my glasses on and looked at the time: 7:34. ‘Jason’s not gonna like this,’ I thought, ‘but, I’m freaking out.’ I pulled out my phone and dialed Jason’s number.
He answered on the third or fourth ring, I don’t really remember because I wasn’t really paying attention. “Matt? Are you okay? It’s 7:30!”
“Uhh, I don’t know Jason, I know it’s 7:30, but I just had a freaky dream.”
“I’ll be right over, unlock your door.” Was all he said before he hung up. He was there, waiting, when I unlocked the door. “Come,” he said, pulling me to my own bed, “let’s talk. This one must have been a doozy, you look like you’ve seen a ghost.”
As I was relaying the dream, Jason was verbally taking notes. “So, the sweatshirt isn’t Evan’s, it’s Lukas’?” He asked, and I nodded. “So, I wonder if Brayden knows anyone named Lukas on the swim team.”
“He does.” I said, looking Jason in the eyes. “That’s who he was meeting for dinner last night, and they swam for a couple of hours before Lukas had to go on duty. I’m 99 percent sure that the Lukas I’ve seen is the same Lukas that Brayden knows.” He simply nodded as I continued the dream. I explained how all the doors were open, save Lukas’ and number 270. I also explained that it was like I was a ghost in the second part of the dream. When I got to the part in the room, Jason was visibly worried.
“He looked like me, Jason. He looked like me. The only difference was that his face was battered and bloodied.” I said, pausing, “If this dream would have happened first, I would have never thought much about it. But, Evan and Lukas have both popped up in reality now. I’m just so confused about it.” I said, trailing off. I don’t know if I had anything else to say, but at that point Jason’s phone started ringing.
“Shit.” He said, “It’s my boss.” He and his boss only talked for about a minute before he hung up and got up to leave. “Sorry, bud, but I’ve got an emergency meeting to go to. I don’t know how long it’ll be, so I might not be able to walk with you to class today.”
“All right,” I said, “I hope everything’s okay.” He just nodded and walked out, so I grabbed my bathroom kit and got ready for the day.
Jason’s meeting was long enough that I had to walk to Spanish by myself. I was trying to wear my ‘normal’ mask during Spanish, but I don’t think I could hide much today. I know Kevin noticed, but he didn’t say anything. We walked back to the dorms in silence, save an apology for being so quiet. “Don’t worry about it,” He said, trying to comfort me, “we all have rough days.”
After I made it back to my room, Jason was waiting for me in his. “Matt, come with me.” He walked me to the Resident Hall Director’s (RHD, Jason’s boss) apartment and closed the door when we walked in. I thought this was odd, because every time I’ve ever talked to the RHD it had been in her office. “Gina,” Jason started, “this is Matt. Matt, Gina.” I had found out earlier this year that although Gina was new to this dormitory this year, she wasn’t new to campus. She was a woman in her mid-late 20’s. She wasn’t skinny, like I was, but she wasn’t fat either. She was taller than me, but shorter than Jason. Her hair was straight and black and went past her shoulders but didn’t reach her shoulder blades.
“Okay Matt,” Gina said, starting, “I don’t think I’ve ever had any experience talking about a dream with someone before, but from what Jason has told me, the resemblance is uncanny.”
“Jason, what’s going on?”
I must have still looked a little confused, as Jason said, “Matt, it’s okay. Right now, we’re not talking business or to the police or anything. This is just between friends. The meeting I had this morning was incredibly serious. There was a beating across campus early in the morning.” With that, Gina pulled out a photo of the victim. I opened my mouth to say something, but I couldn’t. I wanted to say, ‘That’s him!!!’, but I just couldn’t. I pulled a both hands up to my mouth and started sweating. I was hoping the initial shock would just wear off and I would be able to say something, but it didn’t and I fainted before I could get a word out.
When I came to, I had no idea where I was or what time it was. I knew my head was pounding, so I put my hand on my forehead and squinted my eyes. I didn’t recognize anything in the room from this angle, but I could tell I wasn’t in a hospital or anything. I could start to hear people talking from somewhere, so I sat up. I rubbed my eyes and my forehead a bit, and then looked over and saw Jason sitting at the table. “Jason?” I asked, searching for an answer. “Why does my head hurt? What time is it?”
He got up from the chair he was sitting in and came and sat by me and said, “Your head probably hurts because you passed out. I caught you, but there was still a massive blood rush to your brain. And it’s about 2:00.”
I shouted, “TWO O’ CLOCK?! In the afternoon?”
“Yeah, you were out for almost four hours. That was way too much to take in at once, I’m really sorry Matt. I saw that picture and saw how much it looked like you and what you described, even I freaked out a little bit.” Jason said. “I explained the dreams you have had to Gina because now someone else needs to know. We think,” he paused, “that whatever has happened, has happened for a reason. Like there’s some kind of ... connection between you and Evan.”
“We think you were meant to see them.” Gina added. ‘Maybe they’re right.’ I thought, ‘and maybe I’m supposed to do something about it.’
“Do you guys think there’s anything I should do? I mean, there are just way too many coincidences all occurring in succession for there to not be any meaning.” I said, practically thinking out loud.
“I’m not going to say yes or no to that, Matt,” Gina started, “But I’ll ask that you not do anything stupid or anything that would get you in trouble. Not everyone will think this is a set of coincidences.”
I nodded and left with Jason to go back to my room. Even though it was past noon and I hadn’t eaten since breakfast, I wasn’t really hungry. There was too much on my mind to be hungry.
Before I knew it, it was about 5:30 and Brayden was knocking on my door. “Matt? Are you okay? I just talked to Jason and he said you had a bit of a rough day.” He said, walking in and sitting down. I was still just staring off into the distance of my room, thinking, when I decided to just go for it.
“Brayden, I really want to talk to you about something, but I don’t know how you’re going to take it.” I said, pausing, “Can you just promise me you’ll listen to everything?”
He looked at me and smiled, and immediately I could feel the pressure lifted off my chest. I’d missed that smile dearly! “Of course, Matt. Anything.”
So I explained everything in the dreams about Lukas and Evan and the events that happened today.
“And you’re sure it’s not just some crazy set of coincidences?” He asked. It was a valid question, but I was sure.
“Yup,” I said, pausing, “And there’s another reason I know why. Remember last Saturday?” I said as I explained that I met him in a dream the night before we met in person.
“Woah.” That’s all he said.
“Brayden,” I said, concerned, “are you okay with all of this?”
“I’ll admit it’s pretty freaky man, but I will say,” He said, pausing, “I love the thought of having a psychic boyfriend!”
And then I laughed for the first time all day. And then I cried. All that emotion had been bottled up and it was all getting dumped out at that moment. “I don’t know *sniff* if these are *sniff* happy tears *sniff* or sad tears.” I said through all the crying.
He comforted me for God knows how long, but it felt good. It felt good to be held. It felt good to cry. And then, something hit me. Nothing physically, of course, but I had a thought. “Brayden?” I asked, “Have you talked to Lukas at all today?”
“Shit-- you don’t think? We talked about swimming this morning but he didn’t answer my phone call.”
“I don’t know, but if you haven’t talked to him we need to see if anyone has. Was he supposed to be anywhere other than at class today?”
“I think he said he had some weight training thing with Coach Stevens -- I’ll give him a call right now.”
He and the coach talked for a few minutes when I heard him say, “Great. See you in a few.” He then hung up the phone and said, “Matt, we’re going over to coaches office. He was concerned about Lukas, but wouldn’t say why.”

Re: Lost in a Dream
Oh no!!!!!!!! I am with Sheep on this one. Don't leave us with this cliffhanger too long..... I'm also with Brayden. I'd love to have a psychic boyfriend. How cool would that be, however, some of the things Matt is experiencing aren't quite up to the positive psychic happenings. I hope Lukas is OK and that it isn't Evan being pummeled. Also we need to find out who is in room 270. Boy, the intrigue is really building, Matt.

Here we go everyone! I didn't want to leave you all hanging too long, so here's chapter 7!
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 7
When we made it to Coach Stevens’ office, Brayden knocked on the door and the coach answered. Coach was about the same size as Brayden, except he had more muscle tone. Franky, he looked ripped. He had short light brown hair and appeared to be in his mid to upper 20’s. He had a light five o’clock shadow grown in, but I guessed he shaved daily. When he saw me, his eyes opened as big as saucers. “Evan?! But... I heard... this morning?” He stammered as he looked to Brayden, “Brayden, what’s going on?”
“Coach,” Brayden said, “this is Matt. He’s my boyfriend.”
“You just...” Coach started and paused, before I finished his sentence. “Look like Evan? So I’ve heard. We came to talk about that.”
“Uhh, I’m sorry guys. I can’t talk about that yet; I only know because I’m faculty.”
“Coach, if you don’t mind, we only mean to talk about Lukas and Evan, not what happened this morning.” I said and Brayden nodded.
“Ah, yes. I’ve seen quite a bit of Evan over the past year.” Coach said, “I’ll be honest though, I don’t know if they have the relationship that you two have. I suspect they might, but they have never told me and I’ve never asked. Which reminds me, Brayden, why exactly did you tell me?”
“I believe we can trust you with that,” Brayden started, “and I thought you might know more about Lukas and Evan. Have you heard from Lukas at all today, Coach?” Coach simply shook his head and Brayden continued, “Me neither. We were going to swim in the morning, but he never answered my call.”
“Do you know where he lives, Brayden?” Coach asked, “Because I don’t think a visit would be such a bad idea. And, so you know Matt, you sound just like Evan, too.”
Brayden didn’t know, but the coach told us, so we left his office to go talk to Lukas. He deserves someone to talk to. I just hope we don’t --- I don’t freak him out too much.
We made it to Lukas’ dorm and we were walking up the stairs when I asked, “Brayden, are you sure this is the right thing to do?”
“I’m positive. Like I said yesterday, Lukas is a good guy. You’re a good guy. There might be some weird moments, but it will be worth it, I promise.”
My heart was pounding like crazy when we walked on to the floor. There were some open doors, but most were closed. When we made it to Lukas’ door, my palms were sweating too. Brayden was getting ready to knock, but I stopped him and did it myself. Two soft knocks and a hope. “Lukas? Are you there?” I said in a soft voice. If what Coach Stevens said was right, then there’s no way he wouldn’t recognize that. I was hoping he wouldn’t freak out, but I thought that it might be the only way he’d open up.
We stood in silence for a couple of seconds, when all of the sudden the lock flipped and the door flew open. I saw that it was the same Lukas I saw in my dream. Tanned skin, blue eyes, medium length straight brown hair. I didn’t see the killer smile though. Lukas was standing there with soggy eyes and wet streaks down his cheeks. “Evan?” He said as his voice cracked. It was obvious he was in shock because he started grabbing at my cheeks to see if I was real.
“Lukas,” I said, trying to comfort him as much as possible, “we need to talk to you. I don’t know if you’ll believe me right now, but, I’m not Evan. Can we come in and talk?”
Lukas just nodded with tears in his eyes as we came in and he shut and locked the door.
This time, Brayden started the talking, “Lukas,” he said in a soft voice, “this is my boyfriend Matt. I met him last Saturday and he lives in the same dorm as me.” I smiled when Lukas looked at me as Brayden told him about us.
Lukas took a deep breath and said, “I believe you, Brayden, his hair is too short. And just this past Saturday? You move fast!”
We all smiled and laughed at that point, but I’m guessing my smile and laugh was just reminding Lukas of Evan. He started crying and we did our best to comfort him. “Let it all out, Lukas, it’s been a long day.” Brayden said. Brayden’s good at comforting people, I know it made me feel better a couple of hours ago.
“The strange thing about everything,” Lukas started, still sniffling, “was that Evan said he had been having some weird dreams. One of them included you, Brayden, and you called him Matt.” He looked to me and saw that my eyes were wide as saucers. “What? You don't believe me...” He said dejected.
“Actually, yeah I do,” I said, “I'm just surprised is all. I’ve had dreams like that too, Lukas. And you were in them. And you called me Evan.” I had to take a deep breath here, this was a lot to process, for all of us. “And,” I said, taking another deep breath, “I think I know who did it.”
Lukas simply looked at me and stammered, “Are... What... How?”
“A dream I had this morning, Lukas. We should go talk to your RHD, they might understand more than the police. I’m going to call my RA and RHD, too, because they know about this dream. Is that okay, Lukas?” I said, trying to find a good solution. We’re going to solve this, and we’re going to do it tonight.
Lukas just nodded as I pulled out my phone and called Jason. When I heard him answer, I simply said, “Jason, I need you and Gina to come to Lukas’ dorm. This is urgent. Have Gina call the RHD.”
It was about 7:00 when Jason and Gina made it to the dorm. Lukas, Brayden and I were waiting in Mark’s office when they arrived. Mark looked to be in his mid 20’s. He was probably Gina’s age, but I didn’t know at all. He had short brown hair like I did, except he was starting to bald up the forehead. His five o’clock shadow was much thicker than the Coach’s, but that could have just been from a couple days without shaving. Oh, and to top it all of, Mark was huge. He’d probably easily out-muscle Kevin regardless of the fact Kevin was a linebacker on the football team. I was absolutely starving, but I didn’t care. Lukas and Evan were more important than my hunger.
At that point, there was a lot of explaining to do to Mark. After I had explained that I had this dream in the morning, that I had told Jason immediately and Gina later, and that I was passed out for four hours after seeing the picture of Evan, I think he was starting to believe. “Mark,” I said, pleading the case, “I believe that the world is full of coincidences. You have to admit, though, that there are simply way too many of them to just be coincidences in this case.”
“Yeah, it’s all just shocking in a sense. So,” Mark started, “what room were you in at the end of your dream this morning?”
“270.” I said in response.
“Okay, but is there anything we can actually do?” Lukas said, “I mean, there’s no way the police are just going to believe you because you saw it in a dream. I believe you and I think everyone here does, but is that enough?”
“No, Lukas, I don’t think so,” I said, “but, I have an idea that I know none of you will like.” At that point, all eyes were on me as I took a deep breath and asked. “Lukas, how much do I look like Evan?”
“Almost identi--” He said, pausing, “No. Absolutely not. You’re not doing ANYTHING like that.” I think he figured out my plan.
“Lukas, you know as well as I and the rest of us that there may not be another option.” I said, stopping, “Mark, Gina, I need you with me when I knock on their door. Not visible, but off to the sides of the door or something. Jason, Lukas, since you’re RA’s, we’re probably going to need crowd control at some point. Brayden, can you stay with Lukas?”
Mark looked concerned, “I don’t like the idea of putting you in harms way, Matt.”
I just looked at him and said, “You’re not putting me in any harm, Mark. I’m putting myself in harms way.”
Lukas still wasn’t convinced, “No! You can’t do that! What if they do the same thing to you that they did to him?”
“Then they’re guilty of two counts of aggravated assault. Please, Lukas. For Evan?” I said, pleading my case. He didn’t say anything, he just nodded.
We decided not to walk up to the floor as a group. First, Jason, Lukas and Brayden went to Lukas’ room. Gina and Mark were second, and I was shortly behind them. Mark and Gina continued walking, so I did too. Mark went all the way to the end of the hall and came back while Gina slowed and waited for me. She stopped when she got to room 269, and Mark stopped when he had gotten to 271. They both turned and waited for me as I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Here goes nothing!
“I’ll be right there!” A voice said from inside while my heart pounded.
When the door opened, the guy gave me a weird look, so I said, “Hey, uh, do you have a chemistry book I can borrow? I think you’re in my class.”
“Uhh, no sorry. Greg!” He said to his roommate or friend as he kinda pulled me into the room. ‘Shit, shit, shit!’ I thought ‘Please don’t lock the door.’ “Greg, you’re in chem, right? Do you have a book he can borrow?” The first guy said as Greg got a good look at me.
That’s when shit hit the fan. I kind of felt bad for the first guy, because he was a pretty good actor. Greg, on the other hand, was not. “Y-y-you! You should be in the hospital after what we did to you!”
“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about?” I stammered, trying my best to feign confusion.
“How about I remind you, then, faggot!” He said as he cocked his fist. The first guy had my arms wrapped up behind me. ‘Shit! Whatever happens, we’ve got him.’
“Mark, NOW!” I shouted and Mark bust into the room. He was in just in time to see me take the fist in the right eye. Fuck that hurt.
After that, everything was a blur. I remembered Mark stepping in while they were surprised and Gina grabbing me and pulling me out of the room. Later, the police arrived and they brought Greg and the other guy in to custody. Before too long they were gathering statements. They had all they needed from Gina and Mark, though.
Jason and Brayden walked me back to the dorm, and we were all quite exhausted by the time we made it back. When we made it, Kelsey was waiting for Jason and watching a movie in his room. When she heard us opening my door, she came out to greet us all. Brayden just ushered me in my room and said we were going to bed. Jason did the same with Kelsey so we wouldn’t have to explain anything tonight.
After I went and used the bathroom, I went to a mirror and took a look at myself. ‘Damn.’ I thought. I grabbed my contacts case and thankfully was able to open my one eye enough to grab the contact and put it away. Probably wouldn’t use those tomorrow. I went back to my room and shut and locked the door. Brayden immediately pulled me into a big hug and said, “You’re beyond amazing, Matt.”
“I’m just doing what anyone else would in the same situation. They deserved punishment for what they did.” I said modestly.
Brayden pulled me to the bed and said, “For the first time tonight, you’re wrong, Matt. You are one of a kind and you are the only one who thought of doing that. That’s what makes you special. That’s what makes me so happy to be with you. I know I haven’t known you long, but I still haven’t witnessed you put yourself before anyone else. You’re so incredibly selfless it’s amazing. You’re amazing!” After that speech, he pulled me into a great, passionate, tongue-filled kiss. He’s good at that, that’s for sure!
“And that’s why,” he started, looking at me, “the rest of tonight is all about you.”
That’s when he surprised me. Big time. He pulled me up and pulled my shirt off in between kisses. After it was off, he moved onto my neck. I have to admit, I absolutely loved the feeling of his soft lips on my neck. ‘Oh God,’ I thought, ‘he’s good.’ When he made it to my chest, I softly moaned as his lips continued to caress my skin. There were still some scratch marks, but they had mostly healed at that point. When he had made it past my navel, he yanked my pants and boxers down, revealing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I was already rock hard and dribbling pre-cum when he arrived, so I knew it wouldn’t be long. He looked up at me from his knees and pushed me softly onto the bed. Before I knew it, he had the head of my circumcised penis in his mouth and began to savor the flavor. I let my head fall backwards as I could feel his tongue circling the head as he tried to get more of the shaft in his mouth. I continued to moan softly in ecstasy as he got about halfway down my seven inches when I warned him, “Oh Brayden! I’m gonna cum!” I expected him to pull off, but he never did. I stopped trying to hold on and just let go.
When I was finished, I looked at Brayden and could see that he couldn’t swallow it all. I was speechless when I looked at him, but he wasn’t. “Wow! You taste sweet!” He said, pulling me into a kiss. I didn’t know there was such thing as ‘sweet’ cum, but it he was right.
I told him that it was my turn now, but he said that wasn’t going to happen for two reasons. “First,” he said, “tonight was about you. You’re amazing and you deserve it.” He said as he gave me another quick hug and a kiss and continued. “Second, I came in my pants when you did and I don’t need the help anymore!”
We went to bed sticky and very naked, but neither of us cared. At least, I didn’t care. I definitely felt like I was in heaven, so I couldn’t imagine what Brayden felt like as we cuddled. I bet it was similar, though!

Re: Lost in a Dream
I truly love this story, both for the stuff happening while awake and dreaming.
I was also lucky enough to see the mystery of these dreams thus far without waiting long to see the next installment.
Please keep this up, you are a good storyteller.

Re: Lost in a Dream
I certainly agree with TheFireGod, Matt. That was awesome. Mystery, romance and sex all in one chapter. I hope when the story continues that we get to meet Evan. He is deserving to be known after all he went through. Besides, both he and Matt were seemingly having the same type dreams. I really look forward to chapter 8.

Here we go! Chapter 8 is here and it's time for me to get started on #9! This one was a bit longer than the others, so enjoy!
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 8
I awoke on Thursday morning practically glued to Brayden. ‘Maybe that wasn’t such a good idea.’ I thought as I remembered going to bed without showering last night. Through all the drama in the late evening, Gina told us that she had pulled some strings for me and gotten me excused from my classes for Thursday. Brayden and Jason weren’t so lucky, as they were only excused from their morning classes.
When I finally separated myself from Brayden, the clock read 9:36. I grabbed my bathroom kit and went off to shower. I had completely forgotten about the feelings in and around my left eye until someone from down the hall pointed out the nasty shiner. “Dude!” he said, “What the fuck happened to you?!”
I just laughed and said, “You should see the other guy!” ‘He spent the night in jail!’ I thought, but decided I wouldn’t tell. My life certainly has gotten a whole lot more interesting, lately!
When I made it back to the room, Brayden was sitting up on the bed. “Oh my God!” he said when he saw the black eye, “That guy really got you good, didn’t he?”
“I wouldn’t have lasted long in a boxing match against him, that’s for sure!” I said, smiling. “Hey, if you wanna shower down here you can, I’ve got an extra towel and you can use my stuff. Doesn’t really matter to me!”
“Do you think anyone will say anything if they see me walking out of your room?”
“Who cares if they do,” I said, shrugging, “I can either tell them you were keeping an eye on me because of the fight, or I can tell them you’re my boyfriend.”
“Let’s just stick to me keeping an eye out for you, I couldn’t imagine what would happen if I found you like Lukas found Evan just because someone didn’t like that we were dating.”
“Me neither, Brayden, me neither. Hurry up and shower, you stink!” I said, ushering him out of the room. I opened the window and got dressed and went back to the bathroom to try and put my contacts in. Thankfully, the swelling was down, so I was able to put both contacts in. When I made it back to my room, Brayden’s phone was ringing, so I looked and saw it was Lukas calling. Hope Brayden doesn’t mind!
“Hello?” I asked as I answered the phone.
“Matt?” Lukas asked, confused, so I explained that Brayden was in the shower. “Oh, okay. Say, I’m going to go visit Evan at the hospital, would you guys like to join me?”
“I’m sure Brayden would love to as much as I would, but,” I said, feeling a sharp pain in my stomach, “I haven’t eaten a damn thing in almost a day. Wanna meet at the commons?”
“A day?! You really are fucking crazy.”
“Yeah, I know,” I said, laughing, “I’m definitely regretting not grabbing something at some point, but I stopped caring about being hungry once everything was in motion yesterday.”
“I suppose,” he said, “can you have Brayden text me when you’re leaving?” I told him of course, that would be much easier than setting a time. “Oh, and, Matt? Thanks. I still think you’re fucking crazy, but thanks for all of that.” We both exchanged a few laughs at that and said our good byes. Thinking back on the whole day, it definitely seemed like I thought with adrenaline more than my noggin. I was chuckling to myself still holding Brayden’s phone when he came back from his shower.
“What’s so funny?” He asked as he came in the room.
“It seems I made an ‘interesting’ first impression on Lukas, yesterday.” I said as he dropped his towel. Amazingly, this was the first time I’d seen him completely naked in the light. He looked damn fine.
“Like what you see?” He said with a devilish grin.
“More than you know, babe, more than you know!” I said, smiling, “But we don’t have time for that now, sorry! I’m starving and Lukas is going to join us for breakfast before we go to the hospital.”
“And what happens if I already have plans for something else, huh?” Brayden said in a playful tone.
“Oh I know you do, Brayden, because I made them!” I told him, laughing. “Now, as much as I like seeing you naked, hurry up and put some clothes on!” As we left, I grabbed a pair of sunglasses to cover the black eye as much as I could. I really didn’t want that much attention out of the whole thing.
As we were walking out, Brayden sent Lukas the text I promised when Kevin came down the stairs and joined us in our walk. “Really, Matt, sunglasses indoors?” I looked at him, smiled, and pulled them down passed my nose to show him the black eye. “Holy fuck!” He exclaimed in a hushed tone, “Who did that to you?”
“That’s a story for another day, Kevin, sorry! It’s a good one with a happy ending, though, I promise!” I said, pulling the sunglasses back up and smiling.
“Look, I don’t really care about you two dating, but I definitely don’t want to hear about what you do after the lights go out.” Kevin said, grinning.
“You know, Kevin, that smile says otherwise,” Brayden said, “but, it wasn’t me so you don’t have to worry!” We all chatted casually after that, and, before long, we made it to the commons and Kevin was off to class.
When we made it to breakfast, Lukas was already there and waiting. We sat at the small table with him and I pulled my sunglasses off. He was smiling until he saw the shiner, but he wasn’t upset, merely surprised. “Oh my God!” he said, mouth agape, “Does it hurt?”
“It’s just like a bruise, ‘cept it’s around my eye.” I said, “So, were you as lucky as I was to get the whole day off?”
“You got the whole day off? Lucky! I just got my morning classes off.”
“Well, you see, I don’t have morning classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so that might be why!”
“True, that could be.” He said, “Oh! Evan’s excited to meet you guys. I told him we’d be over soon!” I had just finished one of the most satisfying meals of my life and didn’t figure I’d be hungry until at least dinner time.
By the time we made it to the hospital, it was about 11:00. To call it a hospital, though, was a bit of an overstatement. It was basically a three-floor clinic that only kept patients for a couple of nights. If they needed to be there longer, they’d be transported to another hospital about an hours worth of driving away. Lukas had told us Evan would probably be there longer than most stayed, but they said it wouldn’t be more a week or so. I was kind of surprised, but he told us they had the equipment necessary and the beds available to keep him there.
When we made it to the room, Lukas entered first. As we walked in he said, “Evan, I’d like to introduce you to Brayden and Matt.”
Evan weakly looked over at us and smiled and said, “Hi guys! Which one is which?”
“Don’t play games with the guy who did you justice, Evan.” Lukas said, sternly.
“Lukas, it’s okay. Evan, I’m ----” I started to say, but was finished by Evan, “Matt. I know, Lukas was right!”
We all casually talked for a little bit. Evan seemed to think that if things improved enough by the weekend that he could be released way early. I doubted that, but thought Monday could be a more respectable early release date. He would have to come back at some point, though, as he had ten stitches put in to help heal the cut on the left side of his left eye.
“Alright,” Evan said out of the blue, “I’m gonna ask somethin’, Matt, that I think everyone else has been thinking. When were you born?”
“April 14th, 1990. You?” I said, grinning. I think I already knew the answer to that. At least, I hoped I knew.
“Damn. I was born the 13th. So close.” He said with a hint of disappointment. “Oh well, I guess the world is just full of coincidences!” We all sat around in disappointed silence for a few minutes until something popped into my head.
“What time were you born?” Couldn’t be, though, could it?
“11:52 at night.” He said, solemnly, until something caught his mind. “Oh my God. No fucking way. And you? What time?” He asked in anticipation as the room drew a collective breath.
I smiled. I smiled hard. “Just after midnight. 12:04.” We continued talking about it for a while, learning we were born also in the same city and the same hospital. “Evan,” I started, “I think we’re twins!”
Brayden and I chilled at the clinic with Evan and Lukas for a little while, but Brayden had class to get to and I was driving him there. I told Lukas that if he wanted a ride back to campus, all he had to do was call or text when he was ready and I’d go and pick him up. Brayden and I had to stop by the dorm to pick up his backpack, but that didn’t take long. When I dropped him off, he said he was planning on going swimming after class and probably wouldn’t be back until around 5:00. When I came back to the dorm for good, I saw Gina standing at the front desk talking to the desk worker. I waved at her and said thanks, but she stopped me and pulled me into her office before I could get away.
“Matt,” she said, “I wanted to let you know that I am very grateful for what you did to bring justice to Evan after what was done to him. However, since you’re not psychic,” she said with a wink, “you didn’t exactly solve the original crime the way the city and the university sees the matter.”
“Thank you, Gina, I really was just doing what I thought was right.”
“And everyone involved believed it was the right thing to do. Because of that, I pulled some more strings and got you a free room in this dorm for the remainder of the year. The same goes with Evan, and the university will be asking if he wants to change dorms for security reasons. However, I do not think they will be asking the same question to Lukas.”
“Is there any way Lukas could swap positions with another RA just so he could be in the same building or on the same floor as Evan?”
“Normally,” Gina started, “I would say that most people wouldn’t consider that kind of switch. But, I am planning on talking to the staff about that in our weekly meeting tonight. If I could get someone to commit, Lukas would definitely be welcome on our staff. As you can probably guess, I have suggested to the university that they offer Evan the medical emergency room, but I cannot guarantee that will happen.”
“Gina, I think I speak for Lukas and Evan when I say that we really appreciate everything you are doing. If anything else comes up, tell Jason that I need to schedule an appointment and I’ll be here as soon as I can!” I said as I got up to leave Gina’s office before I had a thought come to mind, “Gina, if they don’t offer that medical room and can’t find another empty, there’s always my room...” I didn’t know if anything would come to pass, but I thought I’d at least put an offer on the table. She thanked me for the offer and I left. It was quite relieving to hear that Evan and Lukas would be able to move if they wanted to.
I was just sitting around in my room half waiting for a call from Lukas and half watching some movie when there was a knock at my door.
“Come on in, I’m just procrastinating!”
“I know you said this was a story for another day, but I can’t wait anymore. What the fuck happened to you!” Kevin said as he walked in and sat down. I just laughed and told him that it was a long story and he needed to hear everything in order to understand.
I started telling him about the dreams I had been having over the past week. I explained that I really thought they were just dreams until the people from the dreams popped up in real life. I told him that I had been freaked out from before I was awake yesterday morning. It started with the dream, then to the picture at the meeting, Brayden and Coach not hearing from Lukas, and then later talking to Lukas. Then, I said I had figured out something I could do about the whole thing. So I explained my plan and it’s success.
“Damn,” he said after hearing the whole story, “remind me not to fuck with you!”
“Yeah,” I said, laughing, “so that’s where the black eye came from. Good story?”
He just laughed and told me to just keep the dreams to people I trusted, which I was planning on anyway. I do think he believed me, though. He seemed pretty upset when I said that Greg just punched me, but I told him it was all for the good of the cause. When he left, I decided to see if Jason was around to update him on the situation with Evan and Lukas.
“So, Gina wants them both over here?”
“Yup,” I said, “and don’t you even think about trading spots with Lukas. It might sound good to you, but think of the rest of the guys on the floor. Most of them are sophomores now and might not take as kindly to Lukas as you might think. I don’t even know what most of them will think about Brayden and me.”
“The guys like you, Matt. Even when you’re not here, nobody talks shit about you. They all know you’re a good guy.”
“I know, Jason, and nobody has ever given me reason to believe they would do something like Greg did. But, sometimes, you just never know about someone until it’s too late. Please, stay here?”
“I won’t volunteer right away, Matt, but if Lukas wants to stay with Evan and Evan wants to move, I can’t promise that I won’t try to make that happen.” Good ol’ Jason, always trying to do the right thing!
“Oh!” I exclaimed, remembering being with Evan at the hospital earlier, “Guess what? Brayden and I met Evan at the hospital earlier.” I said, without giving him a chance to answer.
“Apparently you didn’t want me to guess...” he said, trailing off, “But, good to hear! How’s he doing?”
“He’s in good spirits, a little bruised, but so am I.” I said, “But wait! There’s more! I found out he was born on April 13th, too!” I said, excitedly.
“So, you’re not twins, then? You were born on the fourteenth, I specifically remember us having a big-ass party last year.” Jason said, perplexed by the situation. I laughed at his disappointed confusion until he said, “What?”
“We were born twelve minutes apart, Jason! In the same town, at the same hospital, even.” Right as I finished that sentence, Kelsey walked into the room.
“Crazy, man! Have your parents ever said anything?”
“No,” I started, “but I haven’t exactly asked. I was planning on going home in a couple weekends, so I’ll just bring it up then.”
“Bring what up?” Kelsey asked since she missed the first part of the conversation.
“Oh nothing, really, except that I’m pretty sure I have an identical twin!” I said as I turned and looked at her.
“What? HOLY FUCK! Matt! What happened?!” Kelsey exclaimed as she saw the black eye for the first time. Jason was sitting at his computer and I was on the futon, so the left side of my face was away from the door. Up until my statement, I had been facing away from her.
I just laughed, cracked my knuckles, and said, “If you think this is bad, you should see the other guy!”
“Oh, puh-leez, Matt. You’re not one to get into fights. Tell me what happened!”
I turned to Jason and said, “This one’s all you, Jase, I’ve told this enough today!” So Jason went ahead and relayed the story as if I were a war hero.
“Jase, you make it sound like I saved a child from a burning fire. I got punched in the face and the guy got caught!”
“And you make it sound simple! My way is more fun!” Jason said, smiling.
“Fine! But you know as well as I do that there was hardly anything fun about yesterday.”
“Matt, you’ve gotta get used to this now,” Kelsey said, “because each time he tells it it’s going to sound more and more like you killed a dragon with your fists!”
We all laughed for a few minutes and then I realized something. Jason and Kelsey had both called me ‘Matt’. No ‘Lil’’ was anywhere to be found. “You know what I just realized?” I asked, “Neither of you have called me Lil’ Matt in a while. What’s up with that?”
“You’re right, Matt,” Jason started, “you just don’t seem ‘Lil’’ anymore! Hell, you don’t even go with me everywhere I go anymore!” It will be different to hear the lack of the nickname, for a while, but I can definitely get used to not having it!
It was about 4:00 when Lukas finally called. He had pretty good timing, as Jason was just heading off to his staff meeting. Lukas apologized for not calling sooner, but he said he ended up staying there longer than intended. “Doc came in about a half hour ago and said that Evan had made incredible strides toward returning to health. I asked him if he could be out of the clinic by the end of the week, and the Doc just said, ‘There’s no reason he even needs to stay tonight.’”
I wasn’t sure how long I was quiet, but I was truly speechless. “Has the university called about moving him, yet?”
“No, not yet. But Mark called me and said that I should expect a call about that within the next day or two.”
“Is Evan okay to stay in his room?” I asked, concerned. I don’t know if I’d feel safe there, so I’d be legitimately surprised if Evan did.
“We’re really not sure yet. The worst case scenario I see is that he has to spend the night with me.”
“He’ll be safe with you, I’m quite sure!” I said, chuckling. “Say, when it gets close to dinner time, gimme a call and I’ll come pick you up.” He agreed, and I said I’d talk to him later. I started wondering whether or not they were dating
In the mean time, I had about an hour to kill before Jason would be done with his meeting and Brayden would be back from his swim. I decided it was a good time for one of my favorite afternoon college activities. Nap time!

Re: Lost in a Dream
Matt, how cool to have an identical twin, if that's the case. The mystery now seems to be why they were separated at birth. And the question is which parents are the biological ones?
I still think Kevin is a bit curious and has some hidden desires. Or, maybe that's just me wishing. I mean everyone else is all paired up so............that leaves Kevin open for me..................lol That way we can round out the whole group and live happily ever after - in the same dorm - with the same RA's, etc, etc. I guess if that can't happen I'll just continue to live vicariously through our little group as it is. Which means....you have to continue this story.

It's not really the case, but that would be awesome!

Re: Lost in a Dream
All right, everyone! If you thought we were done with the dreams, well, you're wrong! Sorry. But, this one's a bit different... What will happen? Here it is, then! I present to you, CHAPTER 9! Enjoy!
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 9
“I knew it.” A strange voice said, “My own son. A faggot.” The word gave me shivers. The way he said it was venomous. I’d like to say I knew where I was, but everything was hazy. On top of that, I didn’t recognize anyone at this point, and to be honest, I didn’t have a clue where I was. My attention was immediately drawn back to the exchange between the two men. “I don’t believe this. After everything I’ve ever done for you. I got you into football. I got you into college. And this is how you repay me?” The father was absolutely irate. And his attitude was making me irate.
“Repay you? What the fuck would I need to repay you for? Any other parent on the planet be proud or happy of what I’m doing on the field and in life. You may have gotten me into football, but I did all the work, dad. I got noticed by coaches for what I can do on the field. You have NEVER been satisfied with anything I’ve ever done. I’ve always needed to be better and there is absolutely NOTHING I can do that will ever change you. If you can’t accept me for who I am, then that’s YOU’RE problem, not mine.” The son was wearing a university football shirt and sweatpants like what Kevin wore. But it wasn’t Kevin. I had never seen this person before. I didn’t have a real gauge of size since I wasn’t exactly there in person, but he didn’t appear to be very tall. He was probably taller than me and was definitely more muscular than me, but I couldn’t be too sure. He seemed tanned and had short blond hair and dark eyes, but I couldn’t tell which color they from the distance I was at.
The father just laughed to himself and said, “Problem? You’re not my problem. Not anymore, Aiden. You’re no son of mine.” With that, he turned around and walked away into the haze. I couldn’t believe what I just heard. I had no clue who these two were but it felt like I got stabbed in the chest. I looked at Aiden’s face and could tell he was feeling a lot of different things. His face showed anger, but there was more to it than that. His eyes showed that he was in pain. There was a hint of sadness among all the emotion, too. The haze was getting stronger and stronger as Aiden appeared to walk slowly away from his ‘father’ as the scene faded away.
I woke up to Brayden gently shaking my shoulder, “Matt... Matt!” He said, quietly.
“Huh?” I asked as I slowly woke up, “Oh, hey babe...” I said and smiled weakly. I have to admit, though, I was still a little confused from that dream.
“Hey babe? That’s all? Normally you’re radiating excitement when you see me. What’s up?”
“Is it that obvious?” I asked and he nodded. “Well, I had about an hour to kill so I thought I’d take a nap. I thought I was just kinda laying there with my eyes closed, but before I knew it I had made it all the way to dream land.”
“So you had another dream?” Brayden asked softly.
I thought about that for a few seconds. Was it a dream? “Uh, I don’t really know. It was like a dream, but it wasn’t like any dream I’ve ever had.” I explained the conversation I witnessed between Aiden and his father and conveyed the feelings I saw during the whole sequence. “It just hurt so much to hear ‘You’re no son of mine.’, even though it was nobody I’d ever met before. I wanted to go over and talk to Aiden, but I couldn’t do anything.” I really don’t know what to think about the whole thing.
Brayden had sat down next to me when I started explaining the ‘dream,’ and after I finished, he put his arm around me and pulled me into his side. I rested my head on his shoulder and he rested his cheek on my hair. “Let’s not worry about this one yet, okay Matt?” I had a lot on my mind at this point, but I didn’t say anything. I was really enjoying just being held and comforted. Brayden always gave me a feeling of security and I absolutely loved that. “I really love this, Matt. Just holding you feels right.”
“I love it too, Brayden. Every time you hold on, I feel like nothing can happen. You make me feel safe just as much as you make me feel loved.” I said as I smiled and lifted my head up to give him a kiss. “Which reminds me. What do you think of Lukas and Evan? Are they a couple? I mean, they’ve never really said or anything.”
“You know, I hadn’t really thought of it like that. The way they look at each other makes me say yes, but I guess we’ll never know! Do you think we should ask?”
“Not yet, we just met them today. But if we’re around them a lot and we continue to get the same impression, I say we separate them and get them to talk!” Brayden agreed, and then I remembered everything that had gone on that afternoon while he was gone. So I updated him on what Gina had told me earlier in the afternoon.
“So you offered Gina to let Evan stay in your room?” Brayden asked, “What happens if I wanted to move down here?”
“Oh, um. I guess I didn’t even think about that. Uh... Well, we could see what was decided at their meeting and find out if we can work something out!” I told Brayden. “Actually, that’s a better plan, anyway. People would just get confused if I lived with my twin! Do you think Kevin would have any problems with Evan?”
“No, I don’t think so. A week ago, I’d have said definitely, but he’s changed for the better. He’s got no problem with us, so I doubt he’d have any problem with Evan!”
“So, the next question is,” I started, “do you want to wait and see if Evan’s coming here, or get started on a room change right away?”
“We could wait a couple days. Lukas said they were expecting a call soon, anyway.” With that, I hugged Brayden and said we should see if Jason’s back from the staff meeting.
I opened my door up and saw that Jason’s was open, so I walked over there and asked him how the meeting went.
“You know I can’t talk about that stuff, Matt.” Jason said.
“You know what I mean, Jason. Did Gina talk about Lukas as an RA over here and did anyone volunteer?”
Jason just smiled and said, “Yeah, Ryan from 3rd floor did. Nothing is finalized because Lukas still hasn’t been asked, but as soon as he agrees, they’ll start the moving process.”
“Sweet!” I exclaimed, “That works even better with the new plan!” He looked at me while arching an eyebrow, so I told him that Brayden wanted to move down here.
“Oh, yeah that works too!” Jason said. “You better tell Gina though before she offers the room to Evan!” With that, I said we’d see him later and that we were going to talk to Gina now.
When we made it to the lobby, I went up to the front desk and asked if Gina was still in her office. The worker didn’t know for sure, but said that we could try knocking. So, Brayden and I walked over to where her office and apartment doors were and he knocked on the office door. They were only a couple of feet apart, so she could probably hear the knocks from either place. She answered from her apartment, and was glad to see us even though she had just gotten off her office hours.
She invited us into her apartment and I told her why we were there. I said Jason had told us about Ryan, and that it worked well with our new plan. “Uh, what new plan are you talking about?” She said, confused by the sudden change from the afternoon.
“Oh, well Brayden and I got to talking and he’d like to move down to my room. We haven’t talked to Kevin about it, yet, but he knows the whole story about what happened yesterday.”
“You told him? I thought we said we were going to keep this low profile for a little while?”
“We did, Gina, but he saw my black eye and he’s persistent. And he actually seemed irritated when he found out that Greg punched me for being who I am. I don’t have any doubt in my mind that Kevin would treat Evan and Lukas like he’d treat me or Brayden.”
“All right, I believe you. Do you have his number? We could get started on this now and have it all dealt with by the time Evan gets out of the hospital.” Brayden said he’d give Kevin a call now and have him come down. Kevin was home, so we had him come down and knock on the apartment door.
When Kevin made it down to Gina’s apartment, we explained the plan to move rooms. He seemed a little bummed to be losing Brayden as a roommate, but I thought he might warm up to the idea as we talked. “Kevin, I really mean this when I say this: I wouldn’t want Evan to be roommates with anyone else. I know I can trust you because I know you’re a good person and you see the good in people.” I smiled as I finished my mini-speech.
“Besides,” Brayden said, “Evan’s his twin brother, so it’ll just be like you’re roommates with Matt!” Gina and Kevin both gave a funny look at Brayden, so he said, “Oh, that’s right, you don’t know. Matt was born on the 14th of April and Evan was born on the 13th. However, they were born twelve minutes apart in the same city at the same hospital. Nothing is certain, but there’s no way they look that alike and are both just living, breathing, walking coincidences!” We all laughed for a few minutes at the ‘coincidence’ comment, and then my phone started ringing. I saw it was Lukas, so I excused myself from the room and answered the phone.
I came back into the room a few minutes later and told Brayden we were going to go pick up Lukas and get some fast food. “Gina, do you want me to ask them if they want to move over here?”
“No, I can’t have you ask them to move over here,” Gina started, “but, you can call me and tell me when they’re available to call...” She said, trailing off. I got the hint, so I told her I’d call her and let her know when they were available.
We all decided we’d get the food to go so we could eat with Evan in the hospital room. We didn’t have anything of grave importance to talk about this time. We just talked about sports, school, and life in general. After a while, I left to go use the guest bathroom. I decided on the way back that now would be a good time to call Gina and have her call Lukas. As I walked into the room, Lukas’ phone started ringing, so I sat down and smiled. I looked at Brayden and winked so he knew what was happening.
After several minutes of phone shuffling between Evan and Lukas, they finally hung up and both smiled. “That better be a good sign!” I exclaimed.
“Oh, it’s a very good sign! They want us to move over to your dorm!” Lukas said, excitedly. “The only problem is we can’t quite start as soon as we’d like. The RA on third floor is going to move all of his stuff over to the building and then I’ll be able to move my stuff over to his old room. Evan’s going to have to wait for Brayden, though!”
“Great to hear, guys!” Brayden said, “Matt, Kevin and I will start packing moving my stuff tonight, so we won’t be long. You’ll like Kevin, Evan. He’s a good guy now.”
Evan’s face scrunched up and he said, “Now?”
“Yeah, Evan, he was an ass when we first met him. But Matt set him straight and he’s been good ever since.” Brayden explained to Evan and then turned to me and said, “Do you want to get started so we can be done sooner?”
“The sooner the better, babe!” I said. “Oh, and Lukas, if you need a ride back to campus or anything, let me know. Brayden and Kevin can handle moving things for a little bit if necessary!” With that, Brayden and I were out the door and on our way back to my dorm.
After we got all of the paperwork competed to start moving Brayden to my room, Brayden went up to his room to start packing while I went to mine to move some clothes out of his dresser. Before too long, Brayden had brought his first load of stuff down. While he was there, I asked him if there was anything he thought we needed to move, but he said no. With that, we enlisted Jason’s help (who was pleased to be gaining another resident) and started bringing his stuff down to my room.
At about 8:30, Lukas called for a ride back to campus, so I told the guys I was going to head out and pick him up. There wasn’t much left to do but get himself situated, so I thanked Jason and Kevin and left. When I made it to the hospital, Lukas said that they were going to keep Evan one more night just to be safe. He also said that he wanted to go to my dorm so that he could meet Gina and some of the other staff members. Once we made it to the lobby, I ushered him to Gina’s apartment door, knocked loudly and stood behind Lukas. When she answered, I said, “Gina, this is Lukas. Lukas, this is Gina, the RHD.” I started walking away and said, “I’m going back to my room Lukas. First floor north, find the RA’s door and turn around. That should get you right to me!”
When I returned to my room, I was shocked to see the furniture rearranged. I didn’t really care, because it looked great! Both beds were pushed together and were now parallel to the hallway in the middle of the room. They still touched the wall, but they were now lofted so we could put the desks under one of the beds and Brayden’s futon under the other one. They moved the dressers up against the wall furthest from the door, but left them apart so that we could still have access to the window. I was really impressed at the change in the room and shocked beyond belief that they could have gotten it all done in the half hour or so that I was gone. I stood there for a few minutes of reverie and exclaimed, “Guys! This is incredible! How on earth did you get this done so fast?”
“Well,” Jason started, “Brayden planned it all and said he wanted to surprise you!”
Brayden just smiled and said, “Yup! So, are you surprised?”
“Very! This is really great!” I said as I pulled Brayden into a kiss. “Thanks Brayden! Oh, and thanks Jason!” I said as I pulled Jason into the best bear hug I could muster. “You too, Kevin! I’m sure you kept these two in check!” I said, giving Kevin the same hug I gave Jason. He looked a little tentative at first, but I just wanted to show my appreciation without making Brayden too jealous!
We had started watching a movie when Lukas knocked on the door. Jason and Kevin were on the futon while Brayden and I were on the lofted bed, so I crawled over Brayden and jumped off the bed to greet him. “Hey Lukas!” I said as I pulled him into the room. I pointed to Jason first and introduced them as coworkers, and then I pointed to Kevin. “Kevin, this is Lukas. He’s going to be your new RA. Lukas, this is Kevin, and he’s going to be Evan’s roommate.”
“It’s nice to meet you both,” Lukas started, “but I’m just stopping by because I’ve got to get back to my place so I can start packing. You’ll be seeing more of me around, though, that’s for sure!”
The night carried on like normal, and before we knew it, the movie was finished. Not great, but not bad either. Soon enough, Kevin and Jason left and Brayden and I were alone in our room. That was strange to say, but it was true. Everything was different about it, too! I loved the fact the twin beds were pushed together, and not because that meant I could have a whole twin to myself. As soon as Jason and Kevin were gone, I jumped down from the bed and locked the door.
Brayden started to get up while I was climbing back into bed, so I pushed him down and straddled his stomach. I leaned forward and started passionately kissing Brayden. “I have been waiting for this all day, babe! The anticipation has been boiling more and more inside of me with each kiss we’ve had.” I said as I pulled off his shirt. He took mine off after and started playing with my nipples while I sucked on his. I continued down towards his navel like he did for me, except I started gently pinching his nipples. When I got to his shorts, I could tell he was already rock hard, but I was gonna take this slow. I had already undone the button earlier, so I used my teeth to slowly unzip his shorts revealing his white boxer briefs.
I used my hands to pull off those sexy briefs and shorts and then got to work on the treasure. Since he was a swimmer, he shaved often and was quite well kept all around. His penis was leaking and jumped a little when I gave it a stroke. He was cut like me and seemed to be a little longer and a little thinner. He gasped and his body shuddered when I put the head in my mouth and started to swirl my tongue around. I had one hand juggling his balls and the other playing with his nipples when I started to move past the head. I really don’t know how long this lasted, all I wanted to do was pleasure my man. Suddenly, he said, “Oh, God! Matt!” and I could tell he was ready. His balls tightened to his body and he said, “Here it is!” I swallowed as much as I could, but, like Brayden, was not ready for the sheer amount of semen.
When he was satisfied, he pulled me up to his face and cleaned off my chin. “Mmm. Yours is sweeter!” He said.
“Babe, I’m afraid we’re going to have to agree to disagree on the matter. Yours is far sweeter than mine!” He flipped me over after, but I stopped him from getting to far. “Sorry, babe. You didn’t let me continue last night, so I’m not going to let you tonight! We’re even, now!”
He just smiled and said, “Fine! But starting tomorrow, we’re on even ground! For now, though, we should shower. I don’t want to wake up sticky like this morning!”
The end of the night came quickly. Having both showered and gotten ready for bed, we both climbed up and cuddled in the middle of our new bed arrangement. It always felt amazing to be held by Brayden. I felt safe in his arms.

Re: Lost in a Dream
Great chapter, Matt. I had wondered why Brayden hadn't moved in with Matt, but it all makes sense now. Quite a nice arrangement for all of them. I think Kevin will be good for Evan and probably protective of him. Matt helped Kevin change his attitude and now he seems willing to atone for his past deeds by being more of a big brother to others. And now I am waiting to see what direction Kevin is about to embark on........

Re: Lost in a Dream
All right everyone! Chapter 10 has made it to the board and I'm thrilled to death with the reception this has gotten. Thank you all very much!
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 10
“Coach,” a familiar voice said while sniffling, “what should I do?” I looked around this place, but I didn’t recognize it as it had a haze to it. It appeared to be an office, but I couldn’t make much out of it.
A second voice spoke up and said, “There’s nothing you can do, Aiden. What’s done is done.” That makes Aiden the first voice and a coach of his the second. “But, you should know that not everyone shares your father’s view.”
“Thanks coach.” Aiden said with a sniffle, “Since mom’s gone and dad’s now out of the picture, it’s just so hard to think about.”
“Aiden, there will always be people who care about you. You’re a good kid and someone special will come by and sweep up your heart.”
“I hope so coach.” He said, sniffling more, “What about the team? My dad’s little ‘tirade’ wasn’t exactly quiet...” he said, trailing off.
“Don’t worry about the team, just be yourself. If they’re going to have a problem with you being gay, then they’re going to have a problem playing. It’s as simple as that.”
For the first time in the whole sequence, Aiden smiled. And it wasn’t a fake smile, his pearly whites showed through the haze. Slowly, the haze got stronger and before long, I couldn’t see anything or anyone in the room.
I woke up just before eight on Friday morning. I was confused about the ‘dream’ about Aiden, but for once, I was glad I wasn’t upset. I was happy for him, if he was in fact a real person. I’ll have to ask Kevin when I see him in Spanish. I lied in bed for a few minutes, allowing myself to wake up a little bit. I was extremely comfortable next to Brayden, as his chest made a really fine pillow.
Albeit reluctantly, I got up from bed and trudged my way to the bathroom to get the morning started. As I was in the shower, I thought about everything that had happened in the past week. A week ago, I had Jason and Kelsey as friends. I mean, I had other friends, but none meant anything like those two did. Now, though, I had Brayden, Kevin, Lukas and Evan. I couldn’t help but smile at thought of how much my life had changed in the past week, let alone the past year.
Before I knew it, it was time to go to class. Brayden still hadn’t stirred much, so I used a chair to get to face level with him and I quietly told him I was going off to class. He mumbled something that probably resembled ‘okay’, but I really didn’t have a clue if it was even English. I just laughed to myself and gave his lips a soft kiss. As I pulled away, he smiled and said, “Bye, love.” My heart melted as I walked out of the room. ‘Love?’ I thought, ‘Was that a new nickname, or was he trying to tell me something else?’
“Matt! Wait up, man!” Jason said, bringing me back to reality. “What’s on your mind?”
“A lot, Jase.” I said, “Nothing bad, though. In fact, everything is grand!” I said, all the while smiling.
“I’ll take your word for it!”
“Good!” I said, and then changed the subject, “Jase, can you believe how crazy the last week was? I mean, I never expected to have a boyfriend, drop the f-bomb twice in the same sentence, get punched in the face, get someone arrested, and meet my twin brother.”
“Well,” he said as he laughed, “when you put it like that, it has been a crazy-ass week for you! By the way,” he said, stopping as we got to his classroom, “what are you going to say to your parents?”
“Umm,” I said, thinking, “I’m not quite sure yet. I’m going to talk to Evan one of these days and see what he thinks. It’s all kind of up in the air at this point, unfortunately. We’ll get it figured out for sure, though!”
After that, I said I’d see him later and I walked off to Spanish. When I made it there, Kevin had a spot for me and I sat and we chatted as we waited for class to start. Spanish was one of my favorite subjects, so the class was always enjoyable and far from boring. Better yet, my professor was a riot.
As Kevin and I were leaving, I walked up to the professor and gave her my thanks for not mentioning my black eye in class. She just smiled and said, “Mateo, ya sé que pasó. ¡No te preocupes!”
As we walked out, Kevin leaned in and whispered, “What did she say?”
I just laughed and said, “She told me that she knew what happened and that I shouldn’t worry about it!”
“How did you know that?” he asked, “We’ve barely started past tense!”
“Languages are easy for me,” I said, “and, I took some Spanish in high school. Say, this is really a change in conversation, but when does football season start?” I asked, trying to find a way to ask about Aiden without being too blatant about it.
“First game is tomorrow at three! Are you coming?”
I smiled and said, “Well, Jason and I usually round up some people and play Ultimate Frisbee, but we could probably play in the morning! Have you found out if your starting or not this year?”
“I have, but I’m not, unfortunately.” He said, a little bummed, “But, Coach says that anything can happen and I could be if I work hard. So I am gonna be workin’ my ass off this season.” I just nodded in acknowledgement as he spoke.
“Say, Kevin?” I asked, “Is there a guy named Aiden on the football team?”
“Yeah, he’s a fag.” He said as I stopped dead in my tracks as Kevin continued, “What do you wanna know?” When he realized that I’d stopped, he turned and looked at me.
I didn’t really know what to say, but hearing him say the word ‘fag’ was like popping my happiness balloon. “Do you know him?” I said, sternly, trying to emphasize the word ‘know’.
“No, but--” He started to say but I interrupted.
“Kevin, hearing that word is like getting punched in the stomach, regardless of the intent behind it. I don’t care if everyone on the team says it about him, I can guarantee that it hurts.” I said, pausing to let him think.
“Okay, I’m sorry, Matt. How do you know about Aiden?” He asked. It was a fair question, I hadn’t ever actually met Aiden.
“A dream, Kevin.” I said, stopping to think, myself. “Can you promise me something, Kevin?” He nodded, so I continued, “Promise me that you’ll stick up for Aiden if anything ever happens.”
He looked at me a little confused, but nodded at my proposal. “All right, Matt, I promise you that I will stick up for him, no matter what.”
“Thanks, Kevin. It’ll be good for you, I’m sure of it!” I said as I remembered the coach and Aiden talking. “Say, I’m gonna surprise Evan with a visit. Wanna come with and meet him?” I asked.
“No thanks, I’ll meet him when he moves in. See ya later!” He said, and I walked to my room to drop off my backpack. When I made it to my room, I saw that Brayden was gone. I checked my phone since it was on silent, and saw that I got a text from him while I was at class. He wanted me to know that he and Lukas were going swimming and would be gone a little while. I responded and said: “Sounds good babe! I’m going to visit Evan until lunch or so!”
When I made it to the clinic, I didn’t really know what Evan and I would talk about, but I didn’t care. We were brothers and had a lot of catching up to do!
When I walked into the room, Evan seemed genuinely surprised. He was sitting in one of the chairs in the room, but got up and came to greet me when he saw me. “Matt!” he said, elated, “Thanks for coming! I’m getting so bored here!” After that, he pulled me into a hug. I was a little surprised, but I returned it without question.
“I couldn’t sit around twiddling my thumbs while you were here probably bored to tears!” I said, “Besides, if we really are brothers, shouldn’t we do some catching up?”
“Yeah, we should.” Evan said, “So, about Brayden. When did you meet?”
I grinned and said, “Last Saturday! I was playing Ultimate Frisbee and took a wicked stupid dive. I zoned out for a bit and he and my best friend Jason were kneeling over me when I snapped out of it! After that, I found out he lived in the same dorm and we hit it off from there.”
“Wow! You move fast!”
“Only in that aspect, Evan. Even though we just met a week ago, we both followed our instincts and have a ton in common! That’s pretty much all there is to Brayden though. Anyone like that with you?” I asked. I thought it was fair, he’d never said anything about him and Lukas as a couple. Or anyone else, for that matter!
“Nope. There’s gotta be some guy out there for me somewhere!”
“Not just some guy, Evan. There’s someone special out there for you. I take it that means you and Lukas are just good friends?” I said, smiling.
He looked at me and grinned, “Yeah, you could say that. He’s like a brother to me, Matt. And because of that, I love him like a brother.”
Evan and I chatted for a little while before I had to go and grab something to eat before class at one. I asked if he wanted anything, but he told me that Lukas was going to bring him something. I was quite surprised to hear that he and Lukas weren’t a couple, but I believe him when he says they’re like brothers. It’s the same way I feel about Jason.
The rest of the afternoon was, well, for the first time in a while, normal. Classes were incredibly boring, but I’ve learned that’s how most lectures go when the material isn’t exactly interesting. After I was done for the day, I told Jason that I wanted to go to the football game tomorrow afternoon, and he agreed that we should play Frisbee in the morning. The rest of the afternoon was spent lounging and watching TV.
At least, that was the plan until Lukas called. He wanted to know if he could borrow my Trailblazer so that he could move everything across campus in one big load. I said yes, of course, and went over to help him and Brayden pack his stuff. Fortunately, Ryan had the same plan, so they could move simultaneously without any problems. Before long, both RA’s had checked out of their former rooms and were working on the paperwork to get moved into their new rooms. Brayden and I were just sitting in the lobby waiting to help when he asked me a question. “Matt, would you be upset if I asked Lukas about him and Evan?”
I just giggled and said, “No, babe. I asked Evan about Lukas this morning! We were talking about significant others and it just sorta came up!”
“Oh! And? What did Evan say?”
“It’s all brotherly love between them. He thinks of Lukas as an older brother, much like I think of Jason.” I said, “What about Lukas? Please tell me something similar!”
“Oh yes. ‘Brothers for life,’ I believe was the way he put it.” Brayden said, smiling.
“Now we just have to find them hot dates!” I said, beaming, “Anything on that front for Lukas? Evan said there was a special guy out there for him somewhere.”
“Ya know, I didn’t think about that. I honestly don’t know! We’ll make that Evan’s job.” He said, laughing.
Just then, Gina and Lukas came down after completing their paperwork. “Alright, boys.” Lukas said, “Let’s get started! Hopefully after, we can get into Evan’s room and move some of the heavier stuff.” With that, we went out to my car and started unpacking. This whole process reminded me just how glad I am to live on first floor!
After we finished moving things into Lukas’ new room, we found Kevin and asked if he wanted to go eat. What we didn’t tell him was that afterwards, we were going to go over to Evan’s room and move the majority of his things over to his new room. Evan had already given Lukas permission to move his things, so Mark let us in and ‘supervised’ while we did all of the grunt work. While we were working, Lukas got a phone call from Evan and got the word that they were releasing him, so he went and picked him up.
Soon enough, Evan was at his new room and unpacking with Kevin. They had told us they were planning on just hanging out and getting to know each other, so we left to go watch a movie. Brayden, for some unknown reason, hadn’t yet seen Spaceballs, so we sat him down and watched the movie straight through. Thankfully, he had seen the original Star Wars series, so he understood much of the humor in the movie.
Afterwards, Jason and Lukas had left so that we could all get a decent amount of sleep before Frisbee in the morning.
Brayden and I both made our way to the bathroom to get ready for bed. There wasn’t going to be anything special tonight, as we were both quite tired and sore from all of the lifting and moving. Brayden crawled up into bed first, and I followed shortly after. We were both down to our underwear when I gave him a good night kiss and rested my head on his chest. As I closed my eyes, I could feel his arm move from above his head to around my shoulder. Man, life was truly great right now.

Re: Lost in a Dream
It's good to know that all is running smoothly for once. I have the feeling that Matt will possibly meet Aiden after the game. At least see who he is and verify that they are the same as his dream. Kevin still has to work on a few rough edges, but still seems willing to adjust and accept those around him. Now his protection has to include Aiden. I look forward to seeing how Matt and Evan will approach their parents. Great story, Matt.

Re: Lost in a Dream
Here we go, everyone! Chapter 11 is here and we've made it through the first week! I believe the story will start picking up speed now, but since it isn't written, I cannot say for sure. I hope you enjoy! Feedback is encouraged and comments are quite welcome!
Lost in a Dream, Chapter 11
Work it, make it, do it makes us
Harder, better, faster, stronger
“Are you serious!” I said as my eyes bolted open, “Brayden! Turn that shit off!”
N-n-now th-that don’t kill me
Can only make me stronger
At this point, I practically jumped out of bed so that I could do it myself. “You sneaky little...” I said to him as I closed the YouTube page, “I told you that I hated hearing that song! My roommate ruined the living shit out of it last year!”
Brayden laughed at me as he said, “You were right, Jason! But I win. Under ten seconds and two curses.” I, for the first time today, looked around and saw Jason was grinning from ear to ear. I couldn’t help but smile myself, but it was more of a pouting smile.
“As much as I can’t stand it, I have to admit it is a highly effective alarm clock.” I said and turned to Brayden, “But, please, for the sake of my sanity, please don’t do that again!” I really was trying to pout, but I couldn’t deny that it was pretty funny. I crossed my arms and tried my best to continue my pout, but it just couldn’t stay upset.
Frisbee was relatively uneventful this morning. I recognized some people there, but there were a few new faces too. Ronnie was back and eager to pick me after the end to last week. For once, I wasn’t underestimated and I still had a lot of fun. Brayden decided he was just going to watch (again), so it was just Jason and I that were playing. Evan and Lukas showed up after a while and sat with him while we played. Jason and I were on opposite teams and guarding each other, so I had made it my duty to bother him to the best of my ability. He caught everything that was taller than me, and frequently made a point to call me ‘Short-stuff.’ I decided it was time to take advantage of my speed, so I beat him deep a few times and called him ‘Turtle.’ By the end of the games, we were sufficiently exhausted and hungry. We walked back to the dorm to change and shower so that we go and eat.
We decided on pizza, so we picked a place that had an all-you-can-eat buffet. I didn’t always have to have pizza after playing Frisbee, but some sort of buffet was best for the wallet. The way Lukas was talking implied that he was quite interested in playing next time, but I couldn’t gauge whether or not Brayden and Evan were. Brayden said he didn’t know how to throw well, so I told him it didn’t matter but I’d teach him sometime if he wanted.
Before long, we all donned our blue and gold school colors and went off to the game. We made it in time for decent spots, but we were still halfway up the stands and near the 30 yard line. Kevin had told us to watch for him as number 52, so I kept an eager eye out and patiently awaited for the game to start. When our starting line-up was announced, I saw that Aiden was number 34, so I was a little nervous to see how he would do, too. We were on the ‘home’ side of the stands, so the team generally had their backs to us.
We got the ball to start the game, and Coach immediately tried to get Aiden and our running game going. It didn’t work, as he was stuffed at the line nearly every time. I couldn’t tell if it was a good defense or a bad offense, but there was no chance we were going to win if they kept that up. I wasn’t exactly surprised that the coach switched to a more passer friendly scheme. On defense, Kevin didn’t get the start, but had come in and been in on a couple plays at the linebacker position. While our defense was out there, I noticed that there weren’t a lot of people around Aiden on the sidelines, but thought it might have been because of the lack of the running game.
When we got to half time, we were down 17-3. I was mystified by the lack of an offense, so I jumped a bit when Jason started talking. “Man, our offensive line looks like SHIT this year.” Jason said, “I don’t remember it being that bad last year.”
“Yeah,” I said, “I hope it’s just an off night for them. If it isn’t, we’re in for a long season, I’m afraid!”
The other team started with the ball in the second half since we started with it in the first. After the kickoff, I noticed Kevin run out on to the field with the defense. “Look!” I exclaimed, pointing Kevin out to the crew, “Kevin’s in! Coach must have been pissed!” The first play of the second half resulted in a massive tackle from Kevin on the opposing running back. It was such a shock to the crowd that everyone seemed to gasp in shock at the same time. In our collective stupor, we discovered that he’d caused a fumble and we’d recovered the ball. The crowd was roaring as the defense jogged to the sidelines. I saw the coach go over to Kevin and smack his helmet. I assumed it was a good thing, but I couldn’t tell from our distance.
I really didn’t know momentum was such a huge factor in football, but discovered it’s impact with the first play of the offense after the fumble recovery. Aiden got the ball and finally had some good blocking. It wasn’t a touchdown, but he had accumulated more yards on that run than he had in the entire first half. Thankfully, it wasn’t a fluke, as he followed that up with a long touchdown run. The crowd was elated that we’d actually looked good, and you could tell all of the momentum was on the home team’s side.
I don’t know what caused the change in the second half, but Kevin stayed in every play on defense and Aiden had an absurd second half. It was honestly like watching two different teams play in the same uniforms. Our school had pulled off the win 31-17, and everyone was generally psyched about the way the game finished. I was extremely curious about what caused the change like everyone else, so I decided to stick around and catch Kevin as he left. Nobody else wanted to stay any longer, so they all left to go back to the dorm.
It took a while for Kevin to show up, but eventually he came out in street clothes and a smile. When I saw him, I yelled his name and waved. He walked over and said, “Matt! Glad to see you came!”
“So did everyone else, but I just had to ask what the heck changed at half. So, what the heck happened at halftime?” I said as he came closer.
“I took your advice! That’s all I’m going to say about it for now, though.”
“Well, good! Does that second half make you a starter?”
“It does, and it’s thanks to you!” Kevin said, grinning from ear to ear.
“Thanks to me?!” I asked, befuddled. “What on earth did I do?”
“You’ve made me re-think everything, Matt. I spoke to the team at half and Coach heard it. And speaking of Coach, he wants to talk to you sometime.”
“Wait, what? Why?”
“Not sure, but he said he wanted to know who was responsible for the change in perspective, so I told him it was all you.” Kevin said, patting me on the back.
“Oh, well, I’m glad I helped, I guess!” I said, still a bit confused about the whole thing.
“Oh! Speaking of Coach...” Kevin said and then turned away and yelled, “Coach!” The Coach looked around and then noticed Kevin waving at him. He started walking our way and Kevin continued, “Coach, this is Matt. He’s the one!” After that, Kevin saw someone else and walked away, saying, “Sorry, Matt, we’ll talk another time. A couple of the guys are taking me out to dinner for tonight. I’ll come find you later!” He said as he walked away in the distance.
When I looked back to the coach, he was just close enough to extend a handshake to me. I returned it feverishly as he said, “I don’t know how you did it, but you’ve unlocked a star. Come with me, I have to tell you something.” Coach said as he lead me to an office.
When we made it to his office, I looked around and noticed some of the same things as were in the hazy dream. “I don’t know what you said to him, but I owe you a lot of thanks.” Coach said, offering me a seat. To be honest, that’s not the reason why I wanted to meet you, though.” He said as his smile faded. “As you probably noticed, that was one of the worst and most embarrassing first-half performances I’ve ever witnessed. I had all of the coaches here in my office and we were about to discuss what had just happened when we heard some shouting.” Coach said as I looked on intently, “I paused our meeting so I could hear what was going on, and heard one of the single most disturbing sentences I have ever heard at halftime. ‘The defense’s fault? Maybe we wouldn’t have spent so much time out there if that faggot would learn to run.’”
I stared at the coach, mouth agape and appalled, as he continued, “I was seething enough that I was just about to say something when Kevin spoke up. I may never forget what he said. ‘What? What fucking difference does it make who he loves? He’s the same person who sweats with us every day. He’s the same person that lead us in rushing last year. He’s the same fucking person you guys trusted our offense with last year. What damn difference does it make?’ He was staring at everyone, waiting for someone to challenge, so I spoke up and said, ‘That’s how you earn a starting spot on my team. Sticking up for your teammates when it matters. I don’t know how the second half is going to go, but I expect each and every one of you to play to the best of your ability.’” The coach said, “After that, I benched Derrick for his remarks and sent the team off to start the second half.”
“Wow!” was all I could say. I was so proud of Kevin and so happy for what he had done.
“So, Matt, that’s why you’re here and that’s why I’m thanking you. And I really mean that. Kevin has definitely earned that starting spot.”
Before long, I was back to the dorm and extraordinarily proud of Kevin. I invited the crew to my room and the five of us picked a movie to watch. I told them what took me so long, and they were all thoroughly impressed with Kevin and very happy for what he’d done. While that was playing, someone’s phone started going off.
Work it, make it, do it makes us
Harder, better, faster, stronger
“Oh my GOD!” I said, feeling it was my phone vibrating and making that racket, “You guys seriously didn’t do that, did you?” I looked at Brayden and Jason and they were both giggling like children.
N-n-now th-that don’t kill me
Can only make me stronger
I need you to hurry up now
‘cause I can’t wait much longer
“Hey Kevin! What’s going on?” I said after seeing his name on the caller ID and silencing that awful ringtone. I got up and walked out to the hall so I wouldn’t disturb the movie they were watching in my room.
“Matt! The team’s having a party tonight, do ya wanna come?” He said, putting me on the spot. I’d never been invited to a party like that before, but, I honestly didn’t like the idea of getting plastered in a room full of strangers.
“I appreciate the invite, Kevin, but I’m watching a movie with Jase, Lukas, Evan and Brayden toni--”
“Have them come too!” He said, interrupting me.
“Lemme ask, hang on a second,” I said as I walked into the room and put the phone on my shoulder. “Guys, do you wanna go to a party with Kevin and the football team?” I asked as I shook my head back and forth. Thankfully, they gave me a resounding no. I hope it wasn’t just my influence, but I was glad I didn’t have to go. “Sorry Kevin, but I think you heard their answer. Maybe some other time when we don’t have plans.”
“Aww come on!” Kevin said, pleading.
“The answer’s no! But, please call me if you need a ride back to the dorm. Don’t do anything stupid.”
“Yes, dad.” Kevin said, sarcastically.
“I just gotta look out for the star linebacker, don’t blame me! Seriously though, call me if you need me to pick you up. I’ll be awake a while tonight.”
“Okay, I will.” Kevin said, hanging up. I walked back in to the room with my phone in my hands and sat down.
“Well, it’s probably going to be a long night. I just hope he doesn’t do anything stupid.” I said, going to the settings in my phone, “And on top of that, I have to pretend to be mad at Brayden and Jason tonight.” They were still in the room, but I was going to do my best to ignore them for a while. It was going to be hard, because they were sitting on both sides of me. “Speaking of those two, where did they go?”
It seemed like Evan was willing to play along, but I didn’t know if Lukas would. “They were just here a minute ago, I swear!” Evan said. I wasn’t actually mad at the boys, just ‘playfully’ mad, if that was possible.
After the movie had ended, Brayden sat on my lap facing me and plopped a sloppy kiss on my mouth. I did my best not to react, but I did squirm a little bit inside trying not to kiss him back. “Hey Lukas, did I ever tell you this place was haunted?” He looked at me with a sly grin on his face and I continued, “Yeah, I’m pretty sure the ghost is in here now. There was just a sudden weight on my legs and then my lips got all wet.”
Brayden was staring at me with a sly grin of his own as he pulled off his shirt. He sat back down next to me and continued watching the movie. I felt his arm go around my shoulder and I really couldn’t resist anymore. “Okay, fine, you win this time, Brayden.” I said as I rested my head against his chest.
It was about 11:00 when the first movie ended, so I said I was going to stay up for another. Everybody was going to stay, so we decided to watch American Gangster. Jason owned it, so he went and got it while the rest of us got settled. It was about two and a half hours long, so that would pass plenty of time before I expected Kevin to call.
By the time the movie had finished, I still hadn’t heard from Kevin. I wasn’t terribly surprised, but it was getting closer and closer to 2:00. I could tell Evan was getting tired, but I think he wanted to witness Kevin drunk. I think we all did. I figured Lukas and Jason wanted to stay up just to be sure everything was going to be okay (since they’re RA’s). We talked until about 2:20 when my phone started ringing. Thank goodness I wasn’t hearing Stronger by Kanye West. I answered, and a very drunk and slurring Kevin was telling me it was time to pick him up because he’s drunk. After he gave me the address, I turned to the guys and said, “All right, here we go. I’ll call you guys if I need help or anything.” I said as I left.
When I pulled up to the address, Kevin was sitting on the steps with another guy. The other guy was shorter than Kevin, had short blond hair, and tanned skin. I saw the guy get up and start trying to pull Kevin to his feet, so I got out and tried to help him. I just laughed when I approached and said, “Man, he is plastered, isn’t he?”
“Ohhhhh yeah. He needs to set limits. I’m Aiden by the way.” Aiden said, extending his hand and smiling. It almost seemed like he had a twinkle in his eye as he looked at me.
I graciously accepted and said, “Nice to meet you, Aiden, I’m Matt.” I said, “Thanks for helping out, do you need a ride too?” I put my arm around the other side of Kevin and pulled his arm over my shoulder so we could start to get him in the car.
“Yeah, that’d be good. I didn’t drink nearly as much as him and I haven’t had anything in the past hour or so, but I don’t want to do something stupid this close to the end of the night.” He said, laughing, “And Kevin said he’s got a futon that I can crash on, so I can stay in his room.” I thought for a minute and just shook my head. As he was saying this, his hand had fallen further down Kevin’s back and was resting right up against mine when I opened the car door.
“Sorry to burst your bubble, but Kevin doesn’t have that futon anymore. That was his old roommates.” I said as we got Kevin situated in the back seat. Aiden frowned as I assumed he thought of his next move. “But, fortunately,” I said, continuing, “his old roommate is my new one, so you could still crash on that futon if you want.”
“That,” he said, pausing, “would be awesome.” Right before I drove away, I saw that Kevin had slumped to his side and appeared to be sleeping. The house they had partied at wasn’t far away, but it was easily a ten minute drive to campus. When we hit the first stoplight, I looked over at Aiden and smiled, and he smiled back. ‘Shit.’ I thought. ‘I hope he doesn’t think I’m hitting on him in any way.’
“You have gorgeous eyes, you know that?” He said adoringly. I just smiled weakly and tried to be nice.
“Um, I appreciate it, Aiden, but--” I said as I got interrupted.
“You’re not gay. Damn it!” He said, dejected, “I always fucking pick the straight ones.”
“No, actually, I am gay.” I said as I pulled up to the dorm. “But, my boyfriend already has my heart, Aiden.”
“Oh,” He said depressively, “uh, sorry about that. I guess I’m glad I didn’t try to kiss you!”
“I hope we can still be friends, Aiden. You didn’t do anything that would make you uncomfortable to be around! Besides, there’s someone out there for you, I know it!” I said as I patted his shoulder. And then, I remembered something. “Actually,” I said with a smile, “I have a friend who you might be interested in!” With that, I called Jason and Evan to ask for some help with Kevin. I figured we’d have to carry him, but I didn’t know what to do about three flights of stairs.
“What floor was Kevin on?” Aiden asked as we waited outside for our backup.
“Third. I don’t know how we’re going to get him up the stairs. Even with four of us, that’s 200 plus pounds of dead weight.” As I said that, Jason came outside and I introduced him to Aiden.
“He’s out cold, Jason. Three flights of stairs are going to be tough.” He just nodded and turned around when Evan came outside. It sounded like Aiden gasped, but I couldn’t tell. I turned to him and said, “Aiden, I’d like you to meet Kevin’s roommate, Evan. Evan,” I said, looking towards Evan, “this is Aiden, one of Kevin’s football buddies. He needed a place to crash, so Kevin offered him the futon in your room.”
“Matt, there’s no futon in my room.” Evan said as I giggled.
“I know that! But, I haven’t the faintest idea how we’re going to get Kevin up the stairs without a pulley system, so I think it’d be better if Aiden just took his bed and Kevin took the futon in my room. If you’re okay with that, that is!”
“Yeah, that’s fine!”
“Good, thanks Ev! You’re a savior tonight!” I said as we decided on a way to get Kevin to my room. Aiden said he’d handle his upper body by holding him under his armpits. Jason said he’d take the legs, so that left Evan and I to balance out his waist and legs. Eventually, we got him all the way to my room and into the futon. Brayden was in bed but not asleep, so I introduced him to Aiden as Jason left to go to bed. Evan said he was going to use the bathroom quick, so I took my chance to talk to Aiden. “Aiden, Evan got the shit kicked out of him earlier this week, so please don’t do anything that would cause him to freak out.”
“Matt, you don’t have to worry about me. I’m a softy at heart! Oh, and thanks for telling me he’s your twin!” Aiden said as he smiled.
I grinned from ear to ear and said, “Surprise!” Just then, Evan returned and said he was going to head up to bed, so Aiden followed. I said good night to them and then got myself ready for bed. Right before I got into bed, I grabbed the trash can and put it by Kevin’s head, just in case he couldn’t hold his alcohol.
“Are you trying to hook him up with Evan?” Brayden asked quietly.
“Yeah,” I whispered, “he was flirting with me, so I told him that my heart was already taken. Then, he seemed dejected, so I said I knew someone that he might like. I just didn’t tell him that ‘someone’ was my twin and that I was sure he would like him!” I gave him a goodnight kiss as I nestled into the bed and cuddled up against him. I hadn’t felt it until now, but I was flat out exhausted. At least that meant I’d sleep like a rock!

Re: Lost in a Dream
Matt, you are awesome. Tying all the loose ends up and finding a bf for Evan. However, that still leaves Kevin for me.......................I haven't lost hope in that regard. lol I wonder what Coach would have thought had Matt told him of the dream. I'd love to be there in the morning when Kevin wakes up in an entirely different room and with a gargantuan headache. Keep going, I'm sure there will be many more delightful new faces to meet.

Re: Lost in a Dream
A great couple of chapters, the only downside is now I have Stronger by Kanye West stuck in my head.
