If Carter doesn't win the next immunity, I think they'll vote him out next actually, since they won't know whether Abi is lying or not about having another idol. It would just be a safe way to cover their bases and of course annoy me by keeping that bitch around another week longer. I gotta give her grudging credit for maximizing her opportunities with that clue, but I can't believe none of them figured that's what she was saving her auction money for.

I am at the point where I find Abi-Maria legit hilarious now. Her and Denise's hatred has been singlehandedly keeping the season going for me in terms of entertainment value, starting with "I just found a HUGE clam!" / "Whoopee!" and culminating with Denise being knocked down a peg with Abi winning immunity.

Still want Lisa to win it all thought. Get it gurl. <3

Been a busy so I'm finally catching up. Can't believe Abi won immunity. My jaw literally dropped when she won it.

I have to admit I was kinda happy Abi won the IC. Why ? Because You have to have compassion for the outcast, underdog that everyone wants out and that still figures out a way to stay in the game. Besides that she's still so annoying.

But I give her credit for playing and fighting in this game until the end. her scrambling is fun to watch. Trying to make them think she has another idol, her winning etc...

I could see her a as returning player as she really is one of those character u'll remember from this season.

Anyone know the schedule for the rest of the season? Wikipedia says the finale is December 16th which seems odd because this week's episode will (presumably) leave 5 players in the game. Then next Wed (the 12th) will leave 4 players in the game going into Sunday's finale. But lately they've had TWO eliminations on finale night so that can only mean one of three things:

1) This schedule is wrong in which case someone please correct me.

2) There will only be one elimination on the Sunday finale as opposed to the traditional two.

3) They have finally, gloriously reverted to the much better F2 format and there will still be two eliminations on the Sunday finale.

December 16 is the right day for the finale because next week is the TAR finale. I am assuming until further notice that this season is making the same mistake that China did in that it will only have one elimination in its finale. As much as I'd really love a final two.

Actually if Carter or Abi don't win the next immunity challenge, they can send Abi home even if they assume she has an Idol.

- 2 of them vote for Abi
- 2 of them vote for Carter
- Abi and Carter could vote for one of the 3 people in the 4 person alliance who doesn't win immunity (Malcolm, Denise, Lisa, or the old guy)

The result is a 3 way tie. The 3 people who got votes would not be able to vote. The remaining three could just re-vote Abi and send her home because at that point you can't play an idol anymore (even if you have it).

well malcolm is not going home next week, because next tribal is the last time he can play the idol, so its basically like having an immunity necklace, best bet is for either him or denise winning immunity and then the other uses the idol to be safe. because i can see skupin and lisa going with abi to the end, cause she wouldnt really get any votes (even from pete and artis).

i have a sinking feeling that malcolm or denise will face off in a fire making challenge against lisa or skup with a tie situation, at final 4. i have to say there are alot of smart players this season, and theres alot more older people who made it though that previous seasons. which makes the game more fun, all these young people have been so gullible (Redemption island, one world, nicaragua)

Considering she needed an Advance to Go card to eek out a narrow victory in her one challenge win last week, I'm not too worried. I think Abi gets the boot next and then it's just a matter of whether or not Denise/Skupin/Lisa win the final challenge and Denise has the cajones to side with Skupin and Lisa to boot Malcolm because she can most likely win against S&L but not against M. If Malcolm wins that final challenge though, I think he wins the game.

I also just want to say I think it's hilarious how Denise alone calls Abi out at TC in a way that would normally seem game-stupid (i.e. cementing Abi's vote against her on the jury) but is probably actually an example of Denise being self-aware and extremely perceptive. There are people -- and will be people -- on the jury who HATE Abi, and even her allies (Pete & Artis) think she's annoying. I think Denise has decided to lose Abi's vote so she can gain multiple anti-Abi votes especially from the likes of Penner and RC who you know are just living vicariously through Denise at TC at this point so they can experience the joy/catharsis of calling Abi out.

I do not want Lisa or Supkin to win and I don't think Abi has a chance to win with the jury. I hope Denise wins immunity this week making it impossible to vote out her or Malcolm. This way she and Malcolm could team up with Abi and they could back door either Supkin or Lisa (I would take out Supkin since he seems to be better in the immunity challenges). Then with the final four, Malcolm or Denise will again win immunity and take Abi to the final 3. I think Malcolm would win against either Denise or Abi but I would be just as glad to see Denise win.

I wish that Denise wasn't dismissive about winning by default. Taking players whom the jury hates to the final is actually a smart strategy. It IS playing the game of "Survivor" and NOT a cop-out.

Backdooring and blindsides aren't really in this cast's mettle so I'm not anticipating any surprises.

Yeah. I've been watching the Ponderosa interviews and un-self-aware quotes like this -- and the fact that she laughs annoyingly after every three or four words -- have made me understand why no one was ever really on her side in the game, even when Abi was being a bitch on wheels.

i am thinking it will be a surprise final 2, because i dont see them purposely making 8 jurors with a final 3, all they would have to do is delay merge 1 more round and have them merge at 10.

i read some where that they wanted a final 3 for micronesia but james evacuation threw the game off schedule so they made it final 2. but i dont think dana's evac would affect that.

Australian Outback, Exile Island* and China all had one elimination finales, which is why I can't let myself get excited over the possibility of Philippines going back to the final two format.

* - technically EI had "two" eliminations but the penultimate episode ended on a cliffhanger at Tribal Council, after the voting had taken place, when Cirie and Danielle faced off in the tiebreaker firemaking challenge. Which should have been a dead giveaway that Cirie was losing, really, because nobody cared about Danielle's survival. Cirie was eliminated like five minutes into the finale.

It did, but they started the finale with four people, meaning that there were two full cycles in that episode, unlike how China's finale started with the final four and went to FTC with three or Australia started with three and ended with two.

At tribal when they are all talking about sitting next to Abi at the final I am thinking that is not a good idea because if she made the final 2 it would be an outlast, outwit, outplay on her terms and she could win. Fortunately that's not going to happen.

So now Malcolm has to win immunity to stay. He is target one with Denise being target 2.

I'm glad they didn't take Abi to the final; it should be more interesting with someone who has a better chance of getting votes for the million. Malcolm is the (too) obvious winner if he makes it to the F2/F3; although Denise has been my favorite. But really all 4 have some sort of realistic chance. Blair (sorry Lisa) would be the surprise win, especially when looking back to earlier this season. But I think she has built enough relationships with jury members where anything is possible. She also doesn't do too shabby in challenges. I'm surprised Skupin made it this far without killing himself.

Basically, either Malcolm or Denise is going next because Lisa and Skupin won't vote each other out, while Malcolm and Denise are smart enough NOT to take each other to the finals. If Malcolm or Denise wins the final immunity, he/she will side with Skupin/Lisa to cut their fellow Matsing's throat and then win the whole damn thing. If Skupin/Lisa wins final immunity, then they decide which one of Malcolm or Denise they're siding with and taking to the finals and therefore, which one wins the whole damn thing.

Because if Abi said one thing right all season, it's this: Skupin and Lisa cannot win this game against either one of those two.

completely agree with you pepper, lisa and skupin somehow became the strongest players, but like you said neither of them could win, because i feel that mike hasnt done anything stand out except be a vote, malcolm and denise have been a true voice, and lisa could legit win, she really did have a great story this season.

It is DEFINITELY a New York rule that you don't accost/approach celebs unless you're invited to. I see Jon Hamm, Susan Sarandon and Drew Barrymore on the Upper West Side all the time, and never once has anyone (including moi) bothered them.

That said, I don't count reality people as celebs. I talked to Danny Vosovic form Project Runway 2 randomly at Barnes and Noble on Union Square and Lee Dewyze randomly in Hell's Kitchen while walking my dog (and told him I voted for Crystal, ha!) and they just seemed happy that anyone even knew who they were.

Next immunity challenge will be a tricky one for most of them but I think Denise or Malcolm will be voted out. I can also seem them all voting out Lisa. I want Lisa to win though.

Somehow thinking of Malcolm being voted out is a little painful since he is one of my all time fav players. He looks great, plays a great game. is not a dick but I am sure he has a very nice pretty one, and is smart and personable.

While Lisa grew on me as the season went along I am still not a lover of the Bible thumpers and she and Skup fall into that category.

I love Denise because Denise is my kind of hard ass woman.

If you are talking about them never inviting a winner to play again then that's not true. Sandra won Survivor twice but I'm not sure what you're getting at. *confused*
