Ha ha. I loved it. Dawson was dumb for not using Jeff's background, you could see that Jeff was nervous that she would say something.

Yep, Dawson should've planted the seed from the moment she recognized Jeff Kent. Her chances for survival in the game would've been much stronger, IMHO. Well played by Jeff to convince the others to get rid of his nemesis.

What I wanna know is, when Skupin did that awesome move in the challenge where he threw his idol high in the air, giving him time to knock the other one off, why didn't the rest of them immediately copy that move?

And even though I'm enjoying this season, they've shown us nothing about Kalabow other than Penner and Kent, and now they expect us to care that sickness took out a girl we know nothing about, thereby screwing over another girl we knew nothing about (though not in this episode just yet, because instead of her they eliminated yet another girl we know nothing about)?

As for the other invisibles, the only reason we know Artis is because he does well in the challenges, and Carter might as well be another girl we know nothing about.

i agree with you, it sucks that matsing couldnt get it together and show us some more time at the other camps. this is why the reward and immunity was always combined cause they at least tried to show a bit from all three tribes.

i feel bad for dana, she was repping for the gay community, and was one of the people i coudl see getting to at least mid jury, thus showing all gays ppl arent like colton.

Dawson was definitely underedited but every time they showed her, she seemed fun. Unlike, say, Carter, who the editors are intentionally hiding because he can't even string a sentence together, as shown by his amazingly flat, incoherent confessionals in last week's episode.

Denise is getting a winner's edit by my reading. Malcolm seems to be getting the Fan Favorite edit i.e. he won't make it to the finals but he'll be back for future editions. I'd be shocked if Penner made it to the finals. I love the guy, but he just doesn't have what it takes to win this game; that was apparent from Cook Islands and it's apparent even now.

the previews next week make it look like they merge but then it would be a 9 person jury and final 2. which they wont do.

I kept hoping Abi's tribe would lose immunity and that Malcolm/Skupin/Lisa/RC would team up to blindside her and take over their tribe (sorry slipintothefog, I guess she's like BB's Rachel for me and you). Cannot STAND her. And I love how Probst keeps using his challenge righteous indignation to blow up her spot ("Abi, how many challenges have you sat out now?").

I hope when the merge comes or they lose immunity, that crazy bitch is the first to go.

Rachel and Abi aren't on the same level to me at all. I'm team RC all the way in the feud between the two; I appreciate the drama that Abi is causing but she doesn't have the fun factor that Rachel does. (I guess she's a "love to hate"... but I hate that expression.) Lisa and Denise are actually my favorites so far but I'm always biased toward the older woman demographic on Survivor.

That being said I hate Jeff calling Abi out in every challenge because A) he's a sexist prick and B) until tonight's episode, the rules for sitting out people in challenges this season were geared toward sitting out women every time because the tribes didn't need equal numbers of each gender AND they were allowed to sit out people in back to back challenges.

I wish this was a sign that they're returning to the traditional (and BETTER) F2 format, only with 9 jury members instead of 7 (still an odd number so it would work) but we all know how Prosbt hates those F2's which (he thinks) don't favor his manly men so it's probably just going to be an 8 person jury for no reason.

How extensive are the spoiler sites these days? It seemed to me that after missyae was busted, those sites went down in quality and info so I stopped going. I still think that CBS should let missyae be on Survivor.

Right now the spoiled final four and which places they finish in are known, but a lot of people are curious about the spoiler's accuracy because the rumored winner has a very unexpected edit so far.

4th Place: Malcolm 3rd/2nd Place: Lisa/Denise (I don't remember which one was which) 1st Place: Skupin I don't believe any vote totals have been revealed. Just the placements. Obviously, Lisa and Denise have MUCH better edits than Mike does so far, which has caused a lot of people who analyze the edits to think that the spoiler is wrong and that Mike isn't winning. It's understandable because after the premiere, Mike has gotten zero confessionals and only exists on the show to be trashed by Pete/Artis/Abi. Factor in that he's a returning male player who was removed in a medevac in one of the most infamous moments from the franchise's biggest season ever... and his edit makes no sense at all for a winner, especially when you consider how Redemption Island was just a four month blow job of Boston Rob. Between Lisa and Denise it's hard to say who has the better edit - Denise HAD to be shown a lot in the beginning because Matsing was decimated, and now her edit has tapered off a bit since she's joined Kalabaw. Lisa has been shown a lot for somebody whose tribe hasn't gone to Tribal Council, and especially for somebody who really isn't at the center of the drama on her tribe except for her one episode isolation, but it can also be argued that Lisa is getting consistent and positive screentime because of her celebrity status. So edgically, Lisa vs. Denise is still kind of a wash and Mike winning would be the biggest slap in the face from the editors ever. Winners can be underedited (i.e., Natalie White) OR negative (i.e., Todd), but not really both because telling the winner's story in that way makes no sense, and especially not in this age of editing where every winner has to be as inoffensive as possible to please the viewers.

Yeah that's the spoiler I read too and my reaction to it was the same as yours. Don't get me wrong, I'd be fine with any of those three winning, but I have a hard time believing it's the one they're saying based on current editing.

The winner spoilers aren't always reliable since the vote reveal is live. I remember on Survivor Cook Islands the F3 twist was spoiled correctly, and the finalists were spoiled correctly, but the same spoiler claimed Ozzy had won, which was of course incorrect. My guess is that it's harder to spoil the winner with a close vote (since the spoiler is essentially a guess of how each juror voted) so maybe the vote will be close again this time?

The spoilers of the people in the final three have generally been correct over the years. It's the spoilers of the vote counts that tend to be wrong. Todd/Courtney/Amanda was the spoiled final three but it was said that Amanda was the winner of Survivor China which had people flipping out when Todd won, and people in the live audience actually gasped at the Nicaragua reunion when Chase got third and fourth votes because the spoilers had indicated Fabio won 7-2.

P.S. If the spoiled winner is accurate I find what the editors are doing to be fascinating. Generally they stick to three types of winner edits - the "This person is awesome and basically steamrolls over everyone" AKA the winner edit for men (Richard, Brian, Tom, Yul, Earl, Todd, JT, Rob and finally Kim); the "How runner-up ___ lost to this piece of irrelevant flotsam" AKA the traditional winner edit for women (Tina, Amber, Danni, Natalie, HvV Sandra, Sophie... who all beat men except Danni ); or my favorite in terms of a season's entertainment, "This game is a total clusterfuck strategically and produced this winner you didn't expect" AKA the WTF winner edit (Ethan, Vecepia, Jenna, PI Sandra, Aras, Bob, Jud).

Philippines' spoiled winner would only really fit option #3, which might be why I love this season so much.

Exactly. Oh and btw that example right there is why they never should've switched to F3. Think about it. If it was F2, we have to assume Amanda or Courtney would've won the final challenge (Todd SUCKED in challenges, Amanda was dominating the end-game challenges, and even fucking Courtney won an endurance challenge that season) and with Todd being perceived as the mastermind (ugh), they would've eliminated him, and the winner would've been...COURTNEY! It totally would've been one of those Natalie/Samoa surprise wins that you and I would've celebrated via delighted cackling GIFs.

Imagine how awesome that would be if both Sandra and Courtney were winners today.

Thanks for the spoilers. No big surprise based on the edits. Really disappointing that players don't think of taking clearly negative, villainous types like Abi and Pete to the final. I'm not a big fan of having the "good" prevail which is why, for example, I was pissed at Chelsea and Sabrina last season.

I would guess that Penner votes for Lisa in the end because the editors had little reason to show their bonding session over their washed-up acting careers (p.s. <3) considering Lisa ended up voting for him anyway (p.s. <3333).

Weird. That's the second or third time this season the episode has been genuinely suspenseful, and still the end result left me...unsatisfied. I mean I could care less about Jeff, but I kinda wanted Penner's suggestion at TC to push through and I would've preferred Pete going first because I can't STAND Pete and Abi.

Why can't the people I like just work together already??
