    i'm moving to Bulgaria next year.

    hi, i'm going to be living in Bulgaria (Sunny Beach) next year and i can't find any information about the gay scene... is there one?

    I'm sure there is.

    I don't know anything about Bulgaria but I was reading an article on Romania and how it AND Bulgaria were able to have a good pride parade this year without being met by force. I know that both of those countries are pretty homophobic but I think it's getting better little by little.

    Sorry that I wasn't really able to answer your question. : ( Like I said, I don't know much about Bulgaria.

    I can tell you that during the Cold War days, the two gay meccas in the Eastern Bloc were East Berlin and Sofia.

    Unfortunately, the fall of the Wall fueled a lot of right-wing sentiment. It's hard to say what Sofia is like, nowadays, for gay men.
