If you think there are any facts on your side, produce them. Kulindahr has.
I'm not sure this is true. It takes very specific conditions for a fossil to be created. Millions of life forms die and erode away leaving no signs they were ever there - yet they did exist at one time.
While it's true a fossil proves there was life, a lack of a fossil doesn't prove there wasn't life. IMO.
A huge comet is headed for Mars. If it hits, "it would be an event on the same sort of scale as the impact that drove the dinosaurs extinct 65m years ago. "
I don't care that NASA and scientists everywhere would learn so much from witnessing and having data to collect from an event like this...What if the good sis doesn't make it?

Too bad we don't have the capability of sending out a craft to give it a nudge to make sure the comet hits -- sure, it would only be a bit, but it would add atmosphere and moisture to a very dry place.
"Thirty-one* states allow all qualified citizens to carry concealed weapons. In those states, homosexuals should embark on organized efforts to become comfortable with guns, learn to use them safely and carry them. They should set up Pink Pistols task forces, sponsor shooting courses and help homosexuals get licensed to carry. And they should do it in a way that gets as much publicity as possible. "

^^ I'm curious (See what I did there?) how devastating the destruction would actual be for NASA. They spent that money sending it out, when will this mission be a "Success"? Or I guess I'm asking what will make this mission a success.
With all the future missions during 2015-2020 I wonder if they are even worried about it.
