    Death of Two British Actors

Two well-known British actors have died this weekend.

I remember seeing Simon Ward in something or other at the Theatre Royal in York. I wish I could remember what. He also played James Herriott who was one of my heroes.

Angharad Rees starred in Poldark in the 1970s and was married for a time to Christopher Cazenove.

Simon Ward played a young Winston Churchill in the movie YOUNG WINSTON. He was very good. Anne Bancroft played Jennie Jerome Churchill.

Simon Ward also played Kara's (Helen Slater) father, Zor-El, in 'Supergirl.' Although perhaps that wasn't his finest hour.

Simon Ward's face just seemed to desiccate. I guess it's that fair complexion. I was shocked to see how James Wilby is now. I guess Dan Stevens will go the same.
