I don't like tattooes generally. But there is something strangely slutty about some men sporting some tattooes. Having said that I tend to think of tattoo art as schlock -- but only because the canvas is the human body. I think some tattoo artist are very talented. I'd just rather see their art hanging in a museum than walking the streets.

Not everyone considers their body an ornament for society. They don't have to ask if all or most or any of us approve or like what they want to do to themselves. If they choose to tattoo themselves, pierce themselves, pearl themselves, or otherwise modify themselves, they don't have to run it by you. They don't have any responsibility to you to make themselves look how you'd like them to look.

I still want to get "虹色" tattooed on my right inner ankle but my mom would never allow it and I respect her because I get monies from her. Some people definitely go overboard and it becomes disgusting. Fuck, [and FML for revisiting my past] but in particular, I find tramp stamps, especially on guys, repulsive and it is partially what turned me off from sex with my ex. For Valentine's Day my partner and I had dinner at a glamorous noted restaurant in town. One of the women working there had expanded earholes (don't know the proper term) about 3/4" in diameter. It was difficult for me to look at her, and I doubt my reaction was unusual. In my opinion many people with lots of tattoes have a form of body dysmorphia. That is the only explanation I can find for disfiguring your body and thinking it is is attractive. I think this is especially true for those who also go to the gym and spend hours toning their bodies.

It is a fact there are few good lookers, most of us are just average. In gay world, attraction is what most people want.

Funny, many men/boys make themselves ugly by having crazy pierced jewellery, smoking and gross tattoo. They really repel other people, it is the opposite of what they want. They have large tattoos, ear rings, nipple rings on top of their skinny bodies or fat bodies. How are they going to have a love life in a rewarding partnership?

By avoiding superficial people like you* and dating other folks who share their appreciation of body art.
