Artistry of Male blog shut down again!

Searches for Artistry of Male didn't yield much, but there was some info here:

I'm guessing this is part of Blogger's ongoing purging of gay sites. The site (above) mentions that Blogger's closure rate has declined recently.

Don't worry. It was an automated closure by Google's spam bots that for some reason deemed AOM as a spam producing site. He'll be up again in a couple of days. Meanwhile, bookmark this, it's the emergency back-up site for these occasions!

AOM to me was never Gay Porno...at its worst the detractors could only say

that it is a male oriented bog with spiritual and philosophical issues that may

deviate from the collective social norm.

Is it my imagination or is GOOGLE becoming even more overbearing and pushy?

Seems like they have appointed themselves the moral government agency of

the internet and are the ruling political party thereof. Maybe the people need

to do some cleaning up of those arrogant bastards...JMHO.

^ Not to my knowledge. I've struggled to find anything in Google's archives, but I've emailed 'Phil' to ask if he's saved it anywhere.

It was bad enough finding out recently that AOM had decided to call it a day and stop making further entries on the blog, but my understanding was that everything would remain in place. To find that the site has been removed is terrible news

And what was the content of that blog? Republishing copyrighted works?

^ On the original AOM blog the blogger mostly posted items that were freely available on the internet. However, occasionally he would feature a particular photographer or artist and then only after receiving permission from said artist and would make it clear that the work was copyrighted and not to be republished anywhere else. So, if you're inferring that was the reason the blog was shut down, not so.

I think you'll find that most (all?) adult blogs have the warning and disclaimer, just as the original Artistry of Male did, just as the new version also has, so I don't see what that has to do with blogs being removed by Google.
